It describes 5 waves of these applications: 1) group memory systems for information sharing, 2) corporate intranets and decision support portals, 3) extranets and interenterprise portals, 4) e-commerce and clickstream analysis, 5) business intelligence applications that proactively deliver personalized insights. The next generation is shifting towards real-time personalization using these applications to better understand customer behavior and serve their unique needs.
Credit Card Fraud Detection Using ML In DatabricksDatabricks
In the Credit Card Companies, illegitimate credit card usage is a serious problem which results in a need to accurately detect fraudulent transactions vs non-fraudulent transactions. All organizations can be hugely impacted by fraud and fraudulent activities, especially those in financial services. The threat can originate from internal or external, but the effects can be devastating – including loss of consumer confidence, incarceration for those involved, even up to downfall of a corporation. Despite regular fraud prevention measures, these are constantly being put to the test in an attempt to beat the system.
Fraud detection is a task of predicting whether a card has been used by the cardholder. One of the methods to recognize fraud card usage is to leverage Machine Learning (ML) models. In order to more dynamically detect fraudulent transactions, one can train ML models on a set of dataset including credit card transaction information as well as card and demographic information of the owner of the account. This will be our goal of the project while leveraging Databricks.

Companies are drinking from a fire hydrant of data that is too big, moving too fast and is too diverse to be analyzed by conventional database systems. Big Data is like a giant gold mine with large quantities of ore that is difficult to extract. To get value out of Big Data, enterprises need a new mindset and a new set of tools. They also need to know how to extract actionable insights from Big Data that can lead to competitive advantage. IIoT uses the power of smart
machines and real-time analytics to take advantage of the data that "dumb machines" have produced in industrial settings for years. The driving the philosophy behind IIoT is that intelligent machines are not only better than humans at
capturing and analyzing data in real-time, but they're also better at communicating important information that can be used to drive business decisions faster and
more accurately.
Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things.pptxJitendra Tomar
Today’s business world is changing with the adoption of IoT (Internet of Things).
IoT is helping in prominently capturing a tremendous amount of data from
multiple sources. However, wrapping around the multitude of data coming
from countless of IoT devices, makes it complex to collect, process, and
analyze the data.
Realizing the future and full potential of IoT devices will require an investment
in new technologies. The convergence of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT can
redefine the way industries, business, and economies functions. AI-enabled
IoT creates intelligent machines that simulate smart behavior and supports in
decision-making with little or no human interference.
Business intelligence and analytics (BI&A) and the related field of big data analytics have become increasingly important in both the academic and the business communities over the past two decades. Industry studies have highlighted this significant development.
Reshaping Business with Artificial IntelligenceJitendra Tomar
Disruption from artificial intelligence (AI) is here, but many company leaders aren’t sure what to expect from AI or how it fits into their business model.
Yet with change coming at breakneck speed, the time to identify the company’s AI strategy is now.
Here is the baseline information on the strategies used by companies leading in AI, the prospects for its growth, and the steps executives need to take to develop a strategy for their business.
Managers at all levels will have to adapt to the world of smart machines. The fact is, artificial intelligence will soon be able to do the administrative tasks that consume much of managers’ time, and that too in a faster and better way, and at a lower cost.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
