Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Â
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as âdistorted thinkingâ.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
Â
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasnât one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

1. Modern trends in curriculum construction
Regional, national, international,
problem based learning, issues based curriculum

Introduction
Indian schools follow an education
system that has its genesis in the recommendations of an
Education Commission appointed by the government in the year
1964. The first ten years of schooling are devoted to eight years
of elementary education comprising five years of primary and
three years of upper primary education, followed by two years
of secondary education. The students then undergo two years of
higher secondary education to complete school. This format is
popularly referred to as the â10+2 patternâ of education. The
Indian Parliament adopted the recommendations of the
Education Commission as its National Policy on Education
(NPE) in the year 1968. The highlight of the recommendations
was that science and mathematics were, for the first time, made
2. subjects for compulsory study for all pupils as part of general
education during the first ten years of schooling.
Modern trends in curriculum construction
Curriculum plays very important
role in the field of education. For every course curriculum is a
backbone which reflects the structure of the course and clears all
the dimensions, aims and objectives instructional strategies and
so on. Curriculum should be relevant to the changing time, if
there is a lag between the requirements and components in the
curriculum then all task of teaching-learning becomes futile.
Curriculum should be update. In the modern scenario many
changes are taken every day. Not only information but building
of knowledge is equally important .In this regard all these
changes should be reflected in the curriculum then and then only
application of earning is possible. Various emerging trends
which reflected in all types of curriculum help to make better
educational standards.
The National Policy on Education
(NPE, 1986) proposed the National Curriculum Framework as a
means of evolving a national system of education,
recommending a core component derived from the vision of
national development enshrined in the Constitution. The
3. Program of Action (POA, 1992) elaborated this focus by
emphasizing relevance, flexibility and quality. Problem based
learning is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn
about a subject through the experience of problem solving.
Students learn both thinking strategies and domain knowledge.
The PBL format originated from the medical school of thought,
and is now used in other schools of thought too. The goals of
PBL are to help the students develop flexible knowledge,
effective problem solving skills, self-directed learning, effective
collaboration skills and intrinsic motivation. Problem-based
learning is a style of active learning. Constructivist approach
believes that learner should be given freedom to construct
his/her knowledge. Spoon feeding must be avoided. If a learner
is fully active in construction of knowledge then learning
process will be highly effective. In all the curriculums
constructivist strategies must be given important place.
Conclusion
The goal of the national curriculum
is portrayed in effecting the principles of developmental
curriculum construction. Constructivism, modular curriculum,
credit system, Information technology these all are the emerging
trends in curriculum development. These trends should be given
proper justice while developing curriculum.
