3. • INTRODUCTION
• National Curriculum Framework for teacher education (NCFTE) 2009 is an
attempt to improve teacher education in India, and to prepare an ideal,
innovative, humane and affectionate teacher.
• National Curriculum Framework for teacher education (NCFTE) circulated
in March 2009.
• The national curriculum Framework 2005 and the right of children to free
and compulsory education act 2009.
