- 3. State Objective A. The students will be looking at pictures associated with the First Thanksgiving. I will also ask the students to make a comment on Facebook or twitter that will lead into a discussion on Friday. B. The learner will understand how to write a comment on Facebook and associate pictures with Thanksgiving. C. The student will be able to complete the assignment at school or for homework after school. D. I believe 85% of the students will be able to complete the assignment.
- 4. Selecting Methods, Media, and Materials I will show the students how to log onto Facebook and how to comment on the discussion post. The students that are unable to complete the assignment at home can do the assignment at school. The media used will be Facebook and Photoshop for presenting pictures. Materials: Computer
- 5. Utilizing Media and Materials The technology of social media. All the students will be engaged in commenting on Facebook. This assignment will encourage students to be expressive and creative while writing a comment. I will be monitoring what they will be writing and commenting on it as well.
- 6. Revise Learner Participation Some students may find this assignment hard, but I am willing to help them step by step. All the students must complete this assignment. Students with any disability will be shown how to comment on Facebook. If there is any confusion or difficulty understanding I will help them the best I can.
- 7. Revise and Evaluate I will make sure the assignment is easy to understand and complete. I will ask other teachers their opinion on the assignment. I will make sure students don’t get distracted and get off track on Facebook.
