I chose to follow Dr. Chris R McGee. He seems to be very passionate about education.
He has several posts about Code Red Project which an organization that helps
students learn and understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. McGee is
constantly encouraging and really seems like he wants the best for students. He
gives links to better your punctuation and tips on being a better editor when
writing. I think he seems to really want the best for his students and using twitter
helps him get the word out. I believe he is a great educator and he really wants to
impact students to do well.
Akevy Greenblatt is provides educational and leadership while using twitter. He
provides many links to different websites involving how to become a better teacher
or understanding a student’s mindset. He really seems to want to give helpful
information to help any teacher to learn more about enabling their students.
Greenblatt shares news about education and how it is beneficial to students. I
believe he does a great job updating on new information on education. I think he
really wants teachers to understand all the technology and new ideas on education.
CaleBirk is a principal and is involved with 21st century learning. He has one picture
that is posted on twitter that shows all kinds of different animals and climbing a tree
is testing them. This picture illustrates how everyone learns at a different rate and
everyone is different with a unique talent. I think Birk’s theme is encouraging the
thought of all types of learners. He seems like he wants students to embrace whom
they are and that everyone has a special talent. Birk seems to really want to help
students and give an inspiring out look on life and education.
Jeff DelpIs a principal and is striving to make a difference. He has many links to
different websites. One in particular is “sixty ways to connect with your students”.
Delp seems interested with getting on a students level. He has a blog were he talks
about what matters most in education. Delp seems to be very encouraging and
wants the best for his students. He appears to really want to make a change in
education and all about leadership. He seems like a great man who wants teachers
to be leaders in the classroom.
Harold Blanco is a professor at Marshall University where he instructs a computer
class for future students. Blanco has many links to different websites that involve
technology in the classroom. He talks about using social media in the classroom and
how technology can be a great tool or to cause trouble. He teaches future educators
to use new technology to prepare for the 21st century learners. He gives different
techniques and ideas to teach students. He gives great information for teachers and
students to read and to reference to. I believe he wants to help future teachers and
spread the word about how technology is making a difference in the world.
