Description And Description Of A Computer
Name Picture Use Communicating Motherboard All of the main components in a computer connect to
the motherboard the board allows all the things on it to computer to communicate. This board contains
the Northbridge and the Southbridge. The Northbridge controls the main communications on the
board between the ram, CPU and PCI e. The Southbridge communicates with PCI, SATA and things
like USB and audio. CPU The central processing unit does all the calculations to process the data that
is requested by the operating system. The CPU connects through a socket in the motherboard and
communicates with the Northbridge which communicates with the ram and the rest of the computer to
produce the data for the CPU. Cache The cache is inside the CPU. Where the CPU uses it as very high
speed storage where data is stored as it is processed this data is then offloaded into the ram. The cache
only communicates with the CPU as this is what gives it all its data and tells it what to store. Ram
Ram temporarily stores the data that is being processed by the CPU. This type of storage is very fast
so the computer can work faster than using the data directly from the HDD. However this is volatile
memory so when power is lost everything in the ram is lost. The ram communicates with The CPU
and the rest of the motherboard via the Northbridge. It receives and stores data then sends the data
when it is give a command to do so. Heat sink The heat sink sits on top of the processor and draws

Sustainability and Its Impact on the Four Managerial Functions
Nowadays people all over Australia use their own environmentally friendly shopping bags when they
go to the Supermarket. Why have so many people changed their every day habit and stopped using the
convenient plastic bags? The transition from plastic bags to recycled ones is only one aspect of a
global attitude change towards environmental topics. During the last few decades, businesses have
been focusing on lowering their production costs, with no considerations on the consequences for the
upcoming years. Today, organizations all over the globe are starting to change the way they operate in
order to prevent an environmental crisis.
Sustainability is the new approach that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In prior years, while managers used to set goals for their organization, their only consideration was
how to maximize revenues, without paying attention to the created waste during the manufacturing
process and the operation of the organization.
Nowadays, managers need to ensure that the manufacturing process is sustainable.
The Lean Manufacturing (Womack, Jones Roos, 1990) term is a managerial philosophy which tries to
eliminate waste as much as possible during the manufacturing process. For example maximize use and
reuse of raw materials, decrease the amount of excess supply and defective products, effective
shipping handling and consecutive manufacturing process. The second factor managers must relate to
is reduction in the amount of waste in the organization s building itself. For instance total consumption
of water and energy should be minimized as well. Then, the organization s board has to structure its
vision, and set specific goals relating to environment issues, for the upcoming years.
For illustration, for more than half a century The Coca Cola Company had put its emphasis on
protecting the environment. In 1956, The Coca Cola Company set a goal of protecting our world and
environment. Since then the company conducts researches about environmental issues consistently,
and is considered as a revolution maker in regards to environment and Sustainability topics. In
addition, in 1991 the first beverage bottle was made from

Creative Writing-Part One John And Sar A Short Story
Part One John and Sara Warm yellow sunlight poured into the old neutral color office. The office was
bland mix of browns ,white ,gray and coal black. The owner of this office was wearing a white
business shirt with a black V neck sweater over it. On top of that was a long black leather trench coat.
He matched his room. His room was freezing like the Antarctic, and in a way he comes off as cold. I
think he s just dedicated. the narrator broke from the story and said. Who am I? The narrator

Atlas Mobility
In the article An Atlas Mobility Shows Paths Out of Poverty authors David Leonhardt, Amanda Cox,
and Claire Cain Miller analyze the studies of poverty mobility. The article analyzes studies that
researched the opportunities children have of escaping poverty based on the location their families
currently lived in or moved to. The study found that Based on the earnings records of millions of
families that moved with children, it finds that poor children who grow up in some cities and towns
have sharply better odds of escaping poverty than similar poor children elsewhere (Leonhardt, Cox,
Miller, 2015). The main point of the study was that Geography does not merely separate rich from
poor but also plays a large role in determining which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

better schools, lower rates of violent crime, and a larger share of two parent households ( The Best and

Research Paper Stop and Frisk
Stop and Frisk: the Downside to a Decrease in Crime
By Boli Bencosme
Pace University
LAW 101 50271
2012 Summer 2 Session
Prof. John Paul
Research Paper
Stop and Frisk is a program put into effect by the New York Police Department that basically grants an
officer authority to stop and search a suspicious character if they deem him/her to be as such. They
don t need a warrant, or see you commit a crime. 5They simply need to deem you suspicious to violate
your 4th amendment rights without repercussions. Since its inception, New York City s stop and frisk
program has drawn much controversy stemming from the disproportionate rate of arrest. While the
argument that the program violates an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The cops that searched those innocent people could have just as easily been stopping a robbery or
assault from happening.
The origin of stop and frisk lies in a Supreme Court ruling in the case of Terry v. Ohio 1968. 3When a
group of three men were suspiciously walking back and forth looking into a store, a plainclothes
officer suspected that they were planning to commit a robbery. When he confronted them, he was
unsatisfied with the answers they were giving him, so he searched them and found an illegal firearm.
A key issue in this case was probable cause. By definition, probable cause is a collection of facts or
single fact that would lead a competent police officer to believe that a crime was committed. While the
officer suspected a crime was about to be committed, no crime had yet been committed and therefore
there was no probable cause. While the cop had reason to suspect an illegal activity was about to
occur, he did not have probable cause to conduct the search. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the
defendant on the grounds that a stop and frisk is less intrusive than a full blown search. They also
ruled that requiring probable cause would place the officer and other bystanders in danger. According
to the court, the only justification of a stop and frisk is to find illegal firearms, knives, or other
weapons that can be used to put the officer in danger. Nothing was stated to the court about drugs.
This case has been

Abstract:
Green tea, an unfermented leaves is rich in catechins. Catechins are known to lower the lipid by un
regulating lipid metabolizing enzyme via NF KB and thereby stimulating fat oxidation. Black tea
results from the fermentation of green tea in which catechins of green tea is converted to theaflavin
and thearubigin, which have some significant health benefits of their own. Theaflavin is responsible
for reduced lipid accumulation, suppressed fatty acid synthesis, and stimulated fatty acid oxidation by
inhibiting acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase activities.
A literature review of a total of 8 Randomized Controlled trials (RCTs), 5 Meta analyses consisting of
75 peer reviewed Randomized Controlled trials (RCTs) on 5319 subjects and 6 population based
studies were selected for this study. The research related to Green tea effect on the cholesterol and
lipid lowering effect shows promising results with high dose of intake for long term. Studies and meta
analyses of CCRTs in most cases showed improved low density

Different Types of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
Since the discovery of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome specialists have been trying to understand the different
affects that alcoholism can have on a fetus. As a result of these studies there have been several terms
used to range describe the different effects the alcohol can have on a fetus. They are called Fetal
Alcohol Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Effects, Alcohol Related Birth Defects, ,and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum
Disorder, and Alcohol Related Neurological Disorder. There are three primary facial abnormalities
that a specialists looks for in order to make an official diagnosis of FAS .These include smooth
philtrum, thin vermillion border, and short palpabrel fissures.A documentation is also made about the
growth deficits and CNS abnormalities a child with CNS may face. The term fetal alcohol effects
(FAE)is used to describe negative outcomes of maternal alcoholism that do not meet the criteria for
FAS.FAE was first introduced in1978.There was research conducted by a group called Research

The Lost Boys Sociology
Media, including movies has been an outlet for many directors and screenwriters to express both their
opinions and to illustrate the social temperature in which they lived while injecting their own views
into their work. Media fossils like The Lost Boys directed by Joel Schumacher not only provide a
thrilling tale for viewers, but also critiques, comments, and upholds different social norms in an
amusing manner as an outlet for often controversial subjects such as peer pressure amongst young
people. The Lost Boys may be a gory film, but to ignore the film s social context would be to ignore
the complexity of the movie itself.
Many young people today as well as in the eighties were under a siege of pressure from their peers to
conform to the group s expectations. When the older brother Michael first goes into David and his
friends tomb, he is blatantly pressured into drinking and performing dangerous acts that he wouldn t
normally do. Michael is frequently coached by the group who even chanted his name when he
becomes increasingly resistant to let himself fall off of the bridge. Michael s interaction with the
motorcycle crew shows that negative peer pressure was just as ... Show more content on

Compare And Contrast Zero Hour And The War Of The Worlds
When reading science fiction, what do you think of? You think of the future, mechanisms, floating
cars, and much more! In the stories Zero Hour by Ray Bradbury and The War of the Worlds by H.G.
Wells, you will always think about one thing: the way aliens invade Earth and how people treat it, but
are these stories alike or different? Bradbury and Wells show how life would be during an alien
invasion using characters and events to portray their vision of an alien invasion. The authors of Zero
Hour and The War of the Worlds show characters that handle their feelings and the invasions in
different ways. The protagonists of each story is Mink from Zero Hour and the narrator from The War
of the Worlds. Each character handles invasions differently.

Discussion Of Trolleyey Experiment
Aim
The aim of this experiment is to set up a simulation of a car accident using trolleys and dummies as
models to create this car simulation.
Colleagues
The following colleagues have helped to develop results for this experiment: Georgia Wright, Nicole
McGrath and Tahlia Faulds.
Hypothesis
PART A
If Trolley A and B collide very hard then the dummies would propel off the trolleys because of the
impact of the collision and force.
PART B
If the trolley was set at far distances on the ramp, then the collision between the car and block will
effect the distance of the dummy that will propel off the trolley.

Reflection Paper For Science
The students were working on science fair projects for science, and many of the students needed to
create a graph to add to their science fair backboard. This allowed me to teach a lesson that would
become multidiscipline lesson combining math skills and scientific data analysis. The purpose of the
graph was to display data collected during the student during their experiments. Initially, the students
responded well to the lesson and were focused. I began the lesson by asking the students about the
movie, Jurassic Park. The student become engaged immediately and I had to take a minute to refocus
the class before continuing on the with the lesson. The movie was popular among the students and
familiar. The dinosaurs in the movie were computer generated models, CG. I pointed out that the
creation of CG characters was a marriage of math and science. Computer science creates the model;
however, the animals need to appear the correct size which requires math. Scientist are not old men in
lab coats toiling over a microscope, scientists are inventing new technologies, creating digital
monsters, and changing the world. A few students struggled to refocus and were distracted, but were
easily returned to task with personal attention. I was pleasantly surprised when a student I had
previous struggled with focused on the task and engaged in this lesson. She completed the sample
graph, and then asked for assistance completing her project graph. Unfortunately, I faced challenges

The Stoning Of Stephen In The Book Of Acts
In the book of Acts, the end of chapter seven tells the story of the Stoning of Stephen. In the story of
our Character, Stephen has seen the heavens, but the people of the city claim it to be false and come to
the conclusion that his sin is worth a stoning. In the process of being stoned Stephen cries out to God.
He cries for the lord to Receive his spirit and do not hold this sin against them. This might seem minor
and not necessary part of the story to write in the great book of the Bible, but many do not understand
the impact and importance of this story.

Natural Transcendence In Into The Wild By Jon Krakauer
Natural transcendence is a call that not all people feel, however for those who do hear it, it is nearly
impossible to ignore. The great outdoors represent so much to so many and is a gift that so many reap
the benefits of. Some people like the danger and power of nature, while others like the placid serenity
that allows them to be fully at peace. The novel Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer is all about
transcendence through nature and the lessons learned through that type of eternal peace. The novel is
about a young man, Chris McCandless, who after completing his education and seemed to be set up
for future success, decided to leave everything behind and travel into the Alaskan wilderness in search
for more meaning and connection to nature. On his journey to the wild he encountered many different
people that taught him many lessons about other perspectives and lenses for which to view life,
however these new connections he made were not enlightening enough and he still chose to venture
into the Alaskan wilderness. Mccandless traveled into the wilderness and left his life behind because
he did not feel as though the traditional world was a close enough connection to total transcendence
and inner peace. Reading Into The Wild brought me an appreciation for the knowledge and developing
experiences gained by separating oneself from society to experience and appreciate nature. Exposing
myself to nature to find peace is something that I have done since I was an adolescent. There has

and creating pleasing layouts. However, most important aspect of designing a Web site that I learned
was to adhere to web design best practices. These best practices help to create well coded Web sites to

My Life is a Web site that will be updated a few times a year, especially following important family
events such as new babies, marriages, and other events that I participate in. This means that there will
be more photographs and text that will be added over time. It is my hope that anyone of any age will
be able to access and navigate easily throughout my Web site as it grows.
James J. Cappel and Zhenyu Huang wrote, web usability is a broad concept that encompasses many
aspects of design including a Web site s presentation, its navigation features, and its functionality or
usefulness to visitors (Cappel amp; Huang, 2007). I have kept these attributes in mind as a created My

Herbert Vacuum
The President of the USA in 1929 was Herbert Vacuum of the Democratic Party. The US economy
was fundamentally sound when he took office, and yet in October the US stock market based in Wall
Street, Washington DC crashed through the floor, sparking off a World Depression. The basic problem
was that there were too many shareholders lots of people had speculated on the stock market with
money borrowed from banks, with the result that they sold in a panic the minute share prices rose,
starting an upward spiral. The reason that confidence declined so quickly lay in the fact that consumer
industries were producing too few goods, with the result that sales (and therefore profits and
dividends) were falling. Everyone who wanted these goods in

Impact Of Globalization On The Changing Process Of...
Introduction
Although the organisational aspects and spatial aspects must also be looked at, the flows of
globalisation including economic, environmental, political and cultural change must be looked at in
terms of reconstructing places and specific communities (Knox and Marston, 2016). Global networks
allow the flows of globalisation to be reconstructed rather than effaced. I will focus on the economic
impact of globalisation on the changing process of economic character and development in London
and Sydney.
Economic globalisation has been defined by (Cloke, Crang and Goodwin, 2013 p.414), As the
growing integration and interconnectedness of a range of different dimensions of the world economy .

A large portion of the establishments of todays apparently new global wonders go back in any event to
the time of imperialism, at times prior. Besides, numerous global issues are exceedingly perplexing
and show incredible spatial fluctuation, in this manner significance there are no simple arrangements.
In understanding these global changes in London and Sydney.
Globalisation of the capitalist world has vastly increased since World War Two with the growing
innovation of technology and communication, this has created a broadening global connectivity (Knox
and Marston, 2016 pg 86). Which with theses new innovations brings a quicker and more compelling
method for transportation and correspondence in places like London, helping to increase economic
global connectivity.
Globalisation has created a number of serious issues concerning environmental ,health, core periphery
disparity and security issues (Knox and Marston, 2016 pg. 88).These issues are reflected in London
urban development as this place has been resisted and subverted by the structures of globalisation in
terms of economic issues.
The capitalist and colonial flows of globalisation have allowed but the creation of world cities like

associated with the invasion of Sicily, known as Operation HUSKY. The Allies achieved a positive
outcome despite the fact that key leaders demonstrated ineffective command and control capabilities
and poor integration. The paper will first evaluate the joint function of command and control, using
the three attributes of mission command from joint doctrine: commander s intent, mutual trust, and
understanding. An evaluation of the integration of intelligence and fires joint functions at the
Operational level will follow.
On 9 JUL 1943, the Allies initiated Operation Husky, one of the most significant combined operations
of World War II (Birtle ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On multiple occasions, Patton used the ambiguity of the commander s intent to pursue his personal
goals (Ibid, 17).
The next attribute of mission command for consideration is trust. Once commanders communicate
their intent, they must trust their subordinates at every echelon to carry out that intent with responsible
initiative under all conditions (Mission Command White Paper, 3 April 2012, 6). Building trust among
all echelons and partners is one of the most important actions a commander can perform (Ibid.). The
lack of trust was a constant and pervasive issue for the Allies during Operation HUSKEY. General
Alexander s mistrust of the Americans, fueled partly by the antagonistic actions of Montgomery and
Patton, started a grudge between that Americans and the British for the remainder of the War (Prescott
1994, 10).
The final attribute of mission command for consideration is understanding. Understanding prepares
leaders at all echelons with the vision and far sightedness that is essential to make operative choices,
manage risks, and consider second and third order effects (Mission Command White Paper, 3 April
2012, 5). Leaders who possess understanding have the mental capacity to grasp and appreciate any
state of affairs which facilitates their capacity to make autonomous decisions. Conversely, leaders who
lack understanding put their troops or others at risk.

The Age of Imperialism
During the period of 1850 until about 1910 there was an age of Imperialism. Imperialism is the policy
of extending a nation s political and economic dominance or control over another territory or country.
Imperialism was important to the political power of many nations for the Eastern and Western. It
added wealth, status and increased their military strength. With the strength of their military they are
able to maintain their authority all over the world by using their colonies as supply bases and
fortifications. Many people in the Western countries believed that their civilization was superior to
that of the non Western peoples. Westerners wanted to bring benefits of their culture to others. They
also wanted to teach non Christians about Christianity. For many Europeans and North Americans,
such goals helped to defend imperialism. I am studying imperialism of Great Britain how they took
control over China and the United States; how they took control over the Caribbean Islands and
Philippines. Prior to their controls, I am studying how their motivations are the similar and differ from
one another from their commerce and their government policy. In the early 1800 s, Great Britain had
more colonies than any other Western nation. It controlled Canada, part of India, Australia, New
Zealand, British Honduras; known to us today as Belize, in Central America, British Guiana; now
known as Guyana in South Africa, and other islands in the Caribbean. Much of the eastern half of

A Plan-Based Theory Of Strategic Communication Analysis
As a building principal, I am in a perpetual state of building relationships. Each day I cope with the
uncertain outcome of daily conversations with a variety of stakeholders. Reading the chapter on
uncertainty reduction theory (URT), I recognized many approaches I use when meeting a new person.
Charles Berger s URT addresses cognitive rather than behavioral uncertainty reduction. Behavioral
reduction regards questions related to how to act when first meeting someone. Cognitive reduction has
to do with ways to gather information when you first meet someone. Berger developed 8 axioms, key
variables to grow relationships. Additionally, he generated twenty eight theorems based on the
outcomes of combined axioms. Both the axioms and the 28 extensions provide the background for
Berger s work A Plan Based Theory of Strategic Communication . This plan seeks to help guide one
through the process of using communication to reduce uncertainty. ... Show more content on

They are goal driven. Because of this, Berger suggests strategies, message plans, that can be used to
help us deal with the uncertainty. Plan complexity, seeking information (passive, active, or through
interactions), and hedging are all strategies. These are all strategies I have used, most often, due to the
spontaneity of many of my conversations, I use the interactive strategy. Often, I will use humor in an
attempt to hedge. I have found a smile to be extremely helpful in reducing uncertainty when engaging
in that first conversation. None of Berger s theory surprised me. Reading the Afifi s critique of Berger,
the idea that we are more motivated reduce anxiety rather than uncertainty during first time
encounters. I may be missing something, but I think anxiety and uncertain y go hand in

All The President s Men By Carl Bernstein And Bob Woodward
In the movie All the President s Men, Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, reporters from the
Washington Post, were persistent in uncovering the truth that would soon lead to the resignation of
President Richard Nixon. This wasn t an easy process, since there were a lot of fake leads to the truth,
a lot of nervous employees speak up and a lot of people involved. This was an important time in
history because President Nixon was being re elected as president for the 2nd time. News reporters
gather information about important events to inform the public of what was going on around them. In
this case, the reporters in the movie, were gathering and assembling the information to be relayed
through the source of their newspaper to keep their readers informed about this wild story that would
soon unravel. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The reporters took lots of notes and did hours of researching information. Every time they developed
some kind of a lead, it wouldn t pan out. An example from the movie was when Bernstein spoke with
Karen a former employee that worked with Howard Hunt, who admitted Mr. Hunt was doing
investigation work regarding the Kennedys at the White House Library. When Bernstein called the
library, the librarian admitted at first that he did, but then changed her story and insisted she had no
idea who Mr. Hunt was, later denying ever speaking with Mr. Bernstein. The two reporters had
numerous chances to give up. Many people didn t believe the story, it didn t make sense to them. This
included their boss but, despite that they never stopped. Using methods to obtain their information
such as personal contacts, the reporters were able to get further clues to investigate the story. An
example that showed this was when

Quentin Tarantino s Pulp Fiction
Pulp Fiction is a cult classic. Released in 1994 by co writer and director, Quentin Tarantino, this
movie is a neo noir crime drama/dark comedy that revolves around several seemingly independent
stories that intertwine as the film progresses. The way this film came together was a bit of an
intentional accident. The two writers for the film, Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary, weren t
planning on writing this at all. Originally, they were going to do a short film then decided that wouldn
t get studio funding so they set out to create a trilogy with a different director writing each part,
Tarantino writing one, Avary writing another, then a third director would do the final part. They never
found a third director and Tarantino decided to make ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Avary had his script but it was too short to make into a standalone feature length film. Avary s script
became what Pulp Fiction viewers recognize as The Gold Watch sequence. All other sequences in the
movie were written into the script by both Tarantino and Avary.
Once the script was written, Tarantino and Avary sought out funding. Columbia TriStar found the
script to be too demented and therefore rejected it. Miramax however, was immensely intrigued with it
and Pulp Fiction became Miramax s first fully funded film.
Now that the script had funding and was given the okay, parts had to be cast. Casting for Pulp Fiction
was a bit hectic; Tarantino had written certain parts for particular actors and while some signed on,
others fell through. John Travolta s character Vincent Vega was initially supposed to be called Vic
Vega and played by Michael Madsen. Madsen played Vic Vega in Tarantino s earlier movie Reservoir
Dogs and was on Tarantino s mind as he wrote. When Madsen passed up the role, Daniel Day Lewis
was brought into discussion. Ultimately however, it went to Travolta. The Jules Winnfield character
was specifically written for Samuel L. Jackson. His underwhelming audition however, had the part

Imidazoline Essay
Present there is an enormous deal of scientific attention in the field of Imidazoline derivatives.
Imidazoline is a Nitrogen compound and it can be utilized in organic dyes as nitrogenous electron
donors since it introduces additional electron donors at position 2. Because of high molar extinction
coefficient Imidazoline and other molecular structures containing nitrogen developed as metal free
organic dyes. Usually, metal free organic dyes have the apparent molecular structure of the electron
donor element and the acceptor element connected by the conjugated chain (D π A). 2 imidazoline is a
one of the isomer derived from the imidazole. Imidazoline derivatives are pharmaceutically and
biologically very significant. Imidazolines exhibit major pharmacological and biological activities
such as antidepressive [1], antihyperglycemic [2] , antihypercholesterolemic[3], anti inflammatory[4]

Why Is Chemotherapy Important In Children
18. The children were bald because they were going through chemotherapy. The chemicals in the
chemo are made to target quickly dividing cells. Along with the cancer cells, the hair follicle cells are
the quickest dividing cells in our body. Therefore the chemotherapy attacks the dividing hair cells as
well; hence the children loosing their hair. www.breastcancer.org

Tetanus And The Diseases History, Symptoms, Epidemiology,...
With many diseases around the world it is amazing how us as humans survive day to day. Bacteria is
everywhere you look and you have millions of them living inside you, not all of which are harmful. Its
the ones that do harm you that we should be considered with that can lead to death or diseases. A
specific fatal bacterial disease that has caused many people harm is Tetanus. Tetanus consist of a
bacteria called clostridium tetani which invades the nervous system causing muscle spasms and severe
pain sometimes leading to death. Many times the bacteria causes muscle spasms most often in the jaw
causing the muscles to commonly known as Lockjaw . The bacteria gets inside the host cell and
produces harmful toxins. According to the centers for disease control 10 to 20% of people affected by
tetanus result in death (Atkinson,2009). This paper will go more in depth into tetanus and the diseases
history, symptoms, epidemiology, treatment and possible vaccinations. The severity of tetanus has been
around for many years and has since been developed and studied differently. The symptoms and
descriptions of tetanus have been traced back to the 5th century BCE which hasn t been completely
proven that it was discovered then. Tetanus was produced by two researchers named Carle and
Rattone in 1884, by experimenting with animals and injecting them with puss from a person infected
with severe tetanus( Tetanus n.d). The injection of animals would help Carle and Rattone discover the

On the performance and analysis of DNS security extensions...
On the performance and analysis of DNS security extensions The domain naming server plays a vital
role in the internet as it is needed and is involved in every internet application. DNS now works well
and it is also sometimes mentioned that any new changes added to the present DNS may contribute to
interruption to its functionality and can also contribute towards additional complexity which is
undesirable. Current networks and the future networks relay essentially on DNS and it is important
that the DNS should be a secured one. The DNS can be easily attacked and such an attack can cause
dire consequences so it specifies the importance to use a secured version of DNS to avoid such
consequences. To employ such a version involves more cost. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Cost for increasing security to DNS varies depending on the kind of name server used. When the data
is static then PK DNSSEC is suitable and when the data is dynamic, better option would be to
consider SK DNSSEC. Caching resolvers computational cost is large in PK DNSSEC and non
recursive servers computational cost is high in SK DNSSEC [2]. Hybrid approach is used to eliminate
these computational costs. SK DNSEC cryptographic core contributes less to the total cost in
producing symmetric certificates and thus a better performing efficient and fast cryptographic core can
be used to improve the performance. If a new resolver is added or when existing root certificate
becomes invalid then public key cryptography is used by the SK DNS. In these cases root server can
take care of the load caused by valid requests whereas the root server enabled with SK DNSSEC is
sensitive to reject of service attack. Security and performance both can be achieved by using hybrid
approach. It can be used with PK DNSSEC for the top level domain of DNS tree and for SK DNSSEC
for lower level domain of DNS tree. Size of the response packets of DNS are increased by producing
higher network traffic and latency in PK DNSSEC. SK DNSSEC is considered to be a possible
alternative for PK DNSSEC for few of the important reasons like key management is made easy with
SK DNSSEC, smaller response packets which require small memory for caching. [1]

Emily Dickinson And Mental Illness Essay
Brittney Kennedy

Is there a link between creativity and mental disorder? The topic of mental illness and creative ability
has been documented for years and is still being researched today. Touched with Fire by Kay Redfield
Jameson, Strong Imagination: madness, creativity and human nature by David Nettle, and Creativity
and Madness by Albert Rothenberg, All of these authors have their Ph. D. in psychology or a related
field and have done in depth research on mental illness relating to the artist temperament. This
research focuses on the artist s background and symptom of both the manic and depressive states of
bipolar disorder. Many people who suffer from a mental illness are also usually exceedingly creative,

Dickenson writes manic and depressive extremes beyond anything I ve ever read, lyrically,
memorably, formally, reaching some of the highest highs and the lowest lows. She spend most of her
life secluded from the world, she wrote hundreds of poems and was able to capture extreme emotional
states in some of her greatest works. Dickinson used her poetry as a method of communicating her
emotional distress or happiness. Some of poetry speaks of death and morality, which would clearly
point to a state of depression. When Dickenson was 53 she wrote, The Physician says I have nervous
prostration, but I do not know the name of this sickness. Nervous prostration, at that time, was
identified as an illness characterized by anxiety and depression. In addition, her illness may have been
the end result of earlier documented panic attacks and agoraphobia. She used her writings as a way to
express how she was feeling and what she experienced. I believe she use her poem to describe her
experiences of this disorder, and what it does to

Social Class Is An Ongoing Problem
Social class is an ongoing problem in education, especially for those living on the lower end of the
divide. More than one in five of Scotland s children are living in poverty. In this essay I will consider
why social class is an ongoing problem, its influence on wellbeing and achievement, and propose
ways in which we can attempt to combat these issues. This will be accomplished with reference to
concepts, theories and the scenarios detailed in appendix A, B and C.
According to Bourdieu s highly influential theory of cultural reproduction, children from middle class
families are more advantaged in gaining qualifications due to their possession of cultural capital
(Lamont Lareau, 2011). Cultural capital can be defined as a deeply ingrained knowledge of society s
high culture and taste, behaviours, linguistic cues and the education system. Cultural reproduction
refers to the transmission of these aforementioned cultural values and norms between the generations.
This can only be produced by family upbringing in the home (Bourdieu Passeron, 1990). This
transition enormously influences children s success in school and later in life (Sullivan, 2001).
However the distribution of cultural capital is severely inefficient (Bourdieu and Passeron, 1977).
Sullivan (2001) applied Bourdieu s theory and found that the working class lack the same cultural
capital as the middle class. His research suggests that although working class children can build this
knowledge, they will never

What Is Mardi Gras Parade
1. What is this parade called, and where is it located? What is this parade about? What are they
celebrating in this parade? Few parades are more iconic than the Mardi Gras parades of New Orleans.
Many may view Mardi Gras as simply a giant parade of debauchery centering around revelry, alcohol,
bead throwing and an excuse to bare skin. However, there are also those who do not know that there

and society of New Orleans and its residents. These Parades are celebrations leading up to Mardi Gras
(translated to Fat Tuesday from the French) which marks the beginning of the Christian Lent period.

Tacitus Compare And Contrast Essay
The history of the Roman Empire is clearly described by various authors of the time Polybius,
Josephus and Tacitus. The ancient histories of these three authors bring out the ideal morals of the
Romans. This is mostly brought out by describing how the empire was involved in civil war and how
they stood out. Tacitus was well known in his involvement in politics as a senator and was good in
public speaking. He moved to Rome to live with his father a very wealthy person in the Roman
government at the time. Polybius origin was from Greek and was in the army of the Achaean League.
He was an officer in the League and he helped in the fight against the Romans. However, their army
was defeated and thereafter he was held captive and taken to Italy where he began his writing career

and all information gathered from the initial conversation should be documented.
For the purposes of this paper, an assumption that Manuel is not in immediate danger is made, and he
chooses to sign a written contract stating that he will not make any attempt on his life before having
another discussion with a counselor. While a written contract cannot guarantee that Manuel will not
choose to harm himself during this period, adolescents who sign this type of contract will typically

assessment information in formulating the scope of the problem, and provide intervention strategies
for Manuel s continued treatment (McWhirter et al., 2017).
Consultation and Supervision In order to provide Manuel with the best therapeutic approaches,
colleagues should be consulted, who are willing to question the intervention strategies from not only a
therapeutic perspective, but also keeping in mind ethical and legal guidelines (McWhirter et al., 2013).
One method of consultation that is proving to be helpful is the formation of consultations groups who

  • 2. Description And Description Of A Computer Name Picture Use Communicating Motherboard All of the main components in a computer connect to the motherboard the board allows all the things on it to computer to communicate. This board contains the Northbridge and the Southbridge. The Northbridge controls the main communications on the board between the ram, CPU and PCI e. The Southbridge communicates with PCI, SATA and things like USB and audio. CPU The central processing unit does all the calculations to process the data that is requested by the operating system. The CPU connects through a socket in the motherboard and communicates with the Northbridge which communicates with the ram and the rest of the computer to produce the data for the CPU. Cache The cache is inside the CPU. Where the CPU uses it as very high speed storage where data is stored as it is processed this data is then offloaded into the ram. The cache only communicates with the CPU as this is what gives it all its data and tells it what to store. Ram Ram temporarily stores the data that is being processed by the CPU. This type of storage is very fast so the computer can work faster than using the data directly from the HDD. However this is volatile memory so when power is lost everything in the ram is lost. The ram communicates with The CPU and the rest of the motherboard via the Northbridge. It receives and stores data then sends the data when it is give a command to do so. Heat sink The heat sink sits on top of the processor and draws ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Sustainability and Its Impact on the Four Managerial... Sustainability and Its Impact on the Four Managerial Functions Nowadays people all over Australia use their own environmentally friendly shopping bags when they go to the Supermarket. Why have so many people changed their every day habit and stopped using the convenient plastic bags? The transition from plastic bags to recycled ones is only one aspect of a global attitude change towards environmental topics. During the last few decades, businesses have been focusing on lowering their production costs, with no considerations on the consequences for the upcoming years. Today, organizations all over the globe are starting to change the way they operate in order to prevent an environmental crisis. Sustainability is the new approach that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In prior years, while managers used to set goals for their organization, their only consideration was how to maximize revenues, without paying attention to the created waste during the manufacturing process and the operation of the organization. Nowadays, managers need to ensure that the manufacturing process is sustainable. The Lean Manufacturing (Womack, Jones Roos, 1990) term is a managerial philosophy which tries to eliminate waste as much as possible during the manufacturing process. For example maximize use and reuse of raw materials, decrease the amount of excess supply and defective products, effective shipping handling and consecutive manufacturing process. The second factor managers must relate to is reduction in the amount of waste in the organization s building itself. For instance total consumption of water and energy should be minimized as well. Then, the organization s board has to structure its vision, and set specific goals relating to environment issues, for the upcoming years. For illustration, for more than half a century The Coca Cola Company had put its emphasis on protecting the environment. In 1956, The Coca Cola Company set a goal of protecting our world and environment. Since then the company conducts researches about environmental issues consistently, and is considered as a revolution maker in regards to environment and Sustainability topics. The article analyzes studies that researched the opportunities children have of escaping poverty based on the location their families currently lived in or moved to. The study found that Based on the earnings records of millions of families that moved with children, it finds that poor children who grow up in some cities and towns have sharply better odds of escaping poverty than similar poor children elsewhere (Leonhardt, Cox, Miller, 2015). Research Paper Stop and Frisk Stop and Frisk: the Downside to a Decrease in Crime By Boli Bencosme Pace University LAW 101 50271 2012 Summer 2 Session Prof. John Paul Research Paper Stop and Frisk is a program put into effect by the New York Police Department that basically grants an officer authority to stop and search a suspicious character if they deem him/her to be as such. They don t need a warrant, or see you commit a crime. 5They simply need to deem you suspicious to violate your 4th amendment rights without repercussions. Since its inception, New York City s stop and frisk program has drawn much controversy stemming from the disproportionate rate of arrest. While the argument that the program violates an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The cops that searched those innocent people could have just as easily been stopping a robbery or assault from happening. The origin of stop and frisk lies in a Supreme Court ruling in the case of Terry v. Ohio 1968. 3When a group of three men were suspiciously walking back and forth looking into a store, a plainclothes officer suspected that they were planning to commit a robbery. When he confronted them, he was unsatisfied with the answers they were giving him, so he searched them and found an illegal firearm. A key issue in this case was probable cause. By definition, probable cause is a collection of facts or single fact that would lead a competent police officer to believe that a crime was committed. While the officer suspected a crime was about to be committed, no crime had yet been committed and therefore there was no probable cause. While the cop had reason to suspect an illegal activity was about to occur, he did not have probable cause to conduct the search. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the defendant on the grounds that a stop and frisk is less intrusive than a full blown search. They also ruled that requiring probable cause would place the officer and other bystanders in danger. According to the court, the only justification of a stop and frisk is to find illegal firearms, knives, or other weapons that can be used to put the officer in danger. Nothing was stated to the court about drugs. This case has been ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

PERWEZ KHANAM Lecturer, Department of Biochemistry Nursing College of King Saud Bin Abdul Aziz University of Health Sciences, Al Ahsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Email perwez_khanam2003@yahoo.com Abstract: Green tea, an unfermented leaves is rich in catechins. Catechins are known to lower the lipid by un regulating lipid metabolizing enzyme via NF KB and thereby stimulating fat oxidation. Black tea results from the fermentation of green tea in which catechins of green tea is converted to theaflavin and thearubigin, which have some significant health benefits of their own. Theaflavin is responsible for reduced lipid accumulation, suppressed fatty acid synthesis, and stimulated fatty acid oxidation by inhibiting acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase activities. A literature review of a total of 8 Randomized Controlled trials (RCTs), 5 Meta analyses consisting of 75 peer reviewed Randomized Controlled trials (RCTs) on 5319 subjects and 6 population based studies were selected for this study. The Lost Boys Sociology Media, including movies has been an outlet for many directors and screenwriters to express both their opinions and to illustrate the social temperature in which they lived while injecting their own views into their work. Media fossils like The Lost Boys directed by Joel Schumacher not only provide a thrilling tale for viewers, but also critiques, comments, and upholds different social norms in an amusing manner as an outlet for often controversial subjects such as peer pressure amongst young people. The Lost Boys may be a gory film, but to ignore the film s social context would be to ignore the complexity of the movie itself. Many young people today as well as in the eighties were under a siege of pressure from their peers to conform to the group s expectations. When the older brother Michael first goes into David and his friends tomb, he is blatantly pressured into drinking and performing dangerous acts that he wouldn t normally do. Michael is frequently coached by the group who even chanted his name when he becomes increasingly resistant to let himself fall off of the bridge. The great outdoors represent so much to so many and is a gift that so many reap the benefits of. Some people like the danger and power of nature, while others like the placid serenity that allows them to be fully at peace. The novel Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer is all about transcendence through nature and the lessons learned through that type of eternal peace. The novel is about a young man, Chris McCandless, who after completing his education and seemed to be set up for future success, decided to leave everything behind and travel into the Alaskan wilderness in search for more meaning and connection to nature. On his journey to the wild he encountered many different people that taught him many lessons about other perspectives and lenses for which to view life, however these new connections he made were not enlightening enough and he still chose to venture into the Alaskan wilderness. Mccandless traveled into the wilderness and left his life behind because he did not feel as though the traditional world was a close enough connection to total transcendence and inner peace. On multiple occasions, Patton used the ambiguity of the commander s intent to pursue his personal goals (Ibid, 17). The next attribute of mission command for consideration is trust. Once commanders communicate their intent, they must trust their subordinates at every echelon to carry out that intent with responsible initiative under all conditions (Mission Command White Paper, 3 April 2012, 6). Building trust among all echelons and partners is one of the most important actions a commander can perform (Ibid.). The lack of trust was a constant and pervasive issue for the Allies during Operation HUSKEY. General Alexander s mistrust of the Americans, fueled partly by the antagonistic actions of Montgomery and Patton, started a grudge between that Americans and the British for the remainder of the War (Prescott 1994, 10). The final attribute of mission command for consideration is understanding. Understanding prepares leaders at all echelons with the vision and far sightedness that is essential to make operative choices, manage risks, and consider second and third order effects (Mission Command White Paper, 3 April 2012, 5). Each day I cope with the uncertain outcome of daily conversations with a variety of stakeholders. Reading the chapter on uncertainty reduction theory (URT), I recognized many approaches I use when meeting a new person. Charles Berger s URT addresses cognitive rather than behavioral uncertainty reduction. Behavioral reduction regards questions related to how to act when first meeting someone. Cognitive reduction has to do with ways to gather information when you first meet someone. Berger developed 8 axioms, key variables to grow relationships. DNS now works well and it is also sometimes mentioned that any new changes added to the present DNS may contribute to interruption to its functionality and can also contribute towards additional complexity which is undesirable. Current networks and the future networks relay essentially on DNS and it is important that the DNS should be a secured one. The DNS can be easily attacked and such an attack can cause dire consequences so it specifies the importance to use a secured version of DNS to avoid such consequences. To employ such a version involves more cost. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Cost for increasing security to DNS varies depending on the kind of name server used. When the data is static then PK DNSSEC is suitable and when the data is dynamic, better option would be to consider SK DNSSEC. Caching resolvers computational cost is large in PK DNSSEC and non recursive servers computational cost is high in SK DNSSEC [2]. Hybrid approach is used to eliminate these computational costs. SK DNSEC cryptographic core contributes less to the total cost in producing symmetric certificates and thus a better performing efficient and fast cryptographic core can be used to improve the performance. If a new resolver is added or when existing root certificate becomes invalid then public key cryptography is used by the SK DNS. In these cases root server can take care of the load caused by valid requests whereas the root server enabled with SK DNSSEC is sensitive to reject of service attack. • 33. Social Class Is An Ongoing Problem Social class is an ongoing problem in education, especially for those living on the lower end of the divide. More than one in five of Scotland s children are living in poverty. In this essay I will consider why social class is an ongoing problem, its influence on wellbeing and achievement, and propose ways in which we can attempt to combat these issues. This will be accomplished with reference to concepts, theories and the scenarios detailed in appendix A, B and C. According to Bourdieu s highly influential theory of cultural reproduction, children from middle class families are more advantaged in gaining qualifications due to their possession of cultural capital (Lamont Lareau, 2011). Cultural capital can be defined as a deeply ingrained knowledge of society s high culture and taste, behaviours, linguistic cues and the education system. Cultural reproduction refers to the transmission of these aforementioned cultural values and norms between the generations. This can only be produced by family upbringing in the home (Bourdieu Passeron, 1990). This transition enormously influences children s success in school and later in life (Sullivan, 2001). However the distribution of cultural capital is severely inefficient (Bourdieu and Passeron, 1977). Sullivan (2001) applied Bourdieu s theory and found that the working class lack the same cultural capital as the middle class. His research suggests that although working class children can build this knowledge, they will never ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. What Is Mardi Gras Parade 1. What is this parade called, and where is it located? What is this parade about? What are they celebrating in this parade? Few parades are more iconic than the Mardi Gras parades of New Orleans. Many may view Mardi Gras as simply a giant parade of debauchery centering around revelry, alcohol, bead throwing and an excuse to bare skin. However, there are also those who do not know that there are many parades rather than one Mardi Gras Parade. These parades are deeply rooted in the history and society of New Orleans and its residents. These Parades are celebrations leading up to Mardi Gras (translated to Fat Tuesday from the French) which marks the beginning of the Christian Lent period. Lent involves fasting (with much of the focus on the abstinence of meat consumption,) but Mardi Gras parade roots herald back to ancient Rome. Roman men would disguise themselves during the winter solstice reveling in the streets to celebrate the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 36. Tacitus Compare And Contrast Essay The history of the Roman Empire is clearly described by various authors of the time Polybius, Josephus and Tacitus. The ancient histories of these three authors bring out the ideal morals of the Romans. This is mostly brought out by describing how the empire was involved in civil war and how they stood out. Tacitus was well known in his involvement in politics as a senator and was good in public speaking. He moved to Rome to live with his father a very wealthy person in the Roman government at the time. Polybius origin was from Greek and was in the army of the Achaean League. He was an officer in the League and he helped in the fight against the Romans. However, their army was defeated and thereafter he was held captive and taken to Italy where he began his writing career (Polybius. and Shuckburgh). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If Manuel s answers demonstrate imminent danger, emergency services should be called immediately and all information gathered from the initial conversation should be documented. For the purposes of this paper, an assumption that Manuel is not in immediate danger is made, and he chooses to sign a written contract stating that he will not make any attempt on his life before having another discussion with a counselor. While a written contract cannot guarantee that Manuel will not choose to harm himself during this period, adolescents who sign this type of contract will typically comply. At this point, a follow up meeting is scheduled, which will allow time to consider the assessment information in formulating the scope of the problem, and provide intervention strategies for Manuel s continued treatment (McWhirter et al., 2017). Consultation and Supervision In order to provide Manuel with the best therapeutic approaches, colleagues should be consulted, who are willing to question the intervention strategies from not only a therapeutic perspective, but also keeping in mind ethical and legal guidelines (McWhirter et al., 2013). One method of consultation that is proving to be helpful is the formation of consultations groups who serve many functions for the clinician, including the development and refinement of therapeutic skills, assistance with case ...
