Hydration is an important factor to exercising and sport. Energy drinks as well as water are highly recommended
to replenish your sodium levels. Your body needs to be kept Hydrated. Due to the sweat that is secreted during
exercise, it is important to replace body fluids by drinking a lot of water and energy drinks such as Gatorade.
The sports nutrition product chosen associated with soccer is Gatorade. Powerade and Gatorade are drinks that
include carbohydrates in the form of sugar that restores energy after and/or during a workout. The difference
between Gatorade and Powerade is the levels and amount of sodium, sugar and the type of sugar used. The
sodium content of Gatorade is roughly 450Milligrams per litre, however powered is 225 mg/L. This means that
Gatorade replaces sodium that is lost when exercising due to sweating a lot more than Powerade.

Sugar is a highly concentrated in sugar cane sugar beets. Sugar is mainly used to sweeten food and to prevent
micro organisms from growing and spoiling food. Salt is a mineral composed of sodium chloride. Its a
crystallized mineral from rock salt and halite. Salts main usage is for cooking,cleaning, and many health uses.
While doing this project we discovered that 99.95 % of sugar is pure sucrose. Although salt is used for cooking it
is also used for cleaning. The ocean has 35grams of salt per liter which equals salinity of 3.5% We started this

Then you add sugar into one pot and salt into the other pot. Don t forget to add the same amount of sugar and salt
into the pots. When they are finally dissolved you add the salt water to one container and the sugar water to its
own container but make sure you don t fill it up all the way leave 1in. Then you let it sit until it is warm. Next you
stick a stick into the jars without the stick touching the bottom. Mix it. Then you put the cover on with the stick
through the cover then clip it with the clothespin so the stick does not move. Then you put it on the side and let it
sit where it will not be hit. Check it daily until it is fully formed. Mark down observations.
RESULTS:
The end result of our project was that the salt formed a crystal before sugar did. On day seven the crystal
formation was 2 ½ inches for salt. For sugar it took ten days until it reached 2 ½ inches. Although the crystals did
not form on the stick because we messed up it formed around the container therefore that is how we measured the
growth.

Reflection Paper I have taken Interpersonal Communication before during the summer 2016, but I didn t pass it
mainly because I wasn t as focused as I was in this class. Professor Castro just made it fun. Her lectures and her
stories made it interesting. Every Mondays and Wednesdays, I had three classes. Interpersonal Communication
would be my first class to start my day. Then two classes after that. I ended up dropping those two classes. I was
supposed to drop this class too but I didn t because I wanted to learn more. I ve been in a relationship with my
girlfriend for almost a year and one of the problems we had was listening. Sometimes she wouldn t listen to me or
I just wouldn t listen to her at all. The day we had a lecture about listening in class, that same morning, we got in
an argument about how I don t listen to her. I always listen to her but not when we argue. I usually avoid her when
we are about to start arguing. I found it funny how the professor somehow knew I was in trouble with listening
and she decided to have a lecture on listening. Unlike a history class or a math class or even reading class, this
class actually helped me outside of school. I also learned that my professor is a volunteer basically everywhere.

Intent and purpose of this class
The intent of this class is to give the student a well rounded overview of the basic parts of a short story or novel.
These include plot, character, point of view, strong openings to a story, dialogue and writing enhancement. It is
intended to help writers. It is not intended to be a literary criticism class.
I will also provide a brief overview of genre, marketability and marketing promotion. I will review work for
content and structure. I will not copyedit the student s work. My focus will not be on grammar or sentence
structure.

Introduction
Good stories have a beginning, middle and end. But editors look for the plot arc, or some variation of it. If you are
an established, well recognized author you might tweak The arc model, but the rest of us must slug through it.
And for good reason. The arc will pull your reader through the story. It is the reason why your reader will turn the
pages until the very end. It also helps the writer focus their story line, cut out the parts that are slowing it down,
