This paper discusses the design and implementation of a microcontroller-based solar power inverter aimed at converting DC voltage from solar panels to AC voltage efficiently and cost-effectively. The proposed inverter utilizes a PIC16F877A microcontroller and employs pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques to generate a pure sine wave output, making it suitable for sensitive electronic devices. The study reveals advantages in terms of reduced complexity, cost savings, and improved performance for solar-powered applications.
