Glimepiride +Metformin an integral part in achieving goals (1).pptxHarshit Gupta
This document discusses the role of the fixed-dose combination of Glimepiride and Metformin in achieving glycemic control goals for patients with type 2 diabetes. It notes that 90% of patients with diabetes should be detected, 90% of those detected should be treated, and 90% of those treated should achieve glycemic control. The combination of Glimepiride and Metformin is presented as an effective, safe, and tolerable treatment that provides durable glycemic control, especially when initiated early in the course of the disease. It also discusses the benefits of this combination in patients with comorbidities and its superior glycemic control compared to DPP-4 inhibitors.
The document discusses the myths and facts about diabetes diets. It explains that diabetics do not need to strictly cut out all sweets and enjoyments, but rather can incorporate moderation and make substitutes. A diabetic diet is generally the same as a healthy diet, based on whole grains, vegetables, fruits and moderate fat, salt and sugar. With the right information about balanced nutrition and lifestyle, one need not feel they must radically change their life due to a diabetes diagnosis.
Dokumen tersebut membahas tentang diet vegetarian, termasuk sejarahnya, jenis-jenis diet vegetarian, manfaat kesehatannya, dan cara memenuhi kebutuhan gizi seperti protein, lemak, karbohidrat, vitamin, mineral, besi, kalsium dari sumber nabati.

Are you Struggling to Control of your Diabetes and Weight?
People who are overweight or obese are more prone to developing Type 2 diabetes. Those who have Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes with weight problems struggle to control their blood sugar levels. Research shows that people with diabetes find it more difficult to lose weight than those without diabetes.
Weight loss significantly improves blood sugar control and also reduces the risk of getting complications from diabetes. However, whilst attempting to lose weight, people with diabetes find it hard to restrict their intake of food since eating less may trigger hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar). All these facts explain the need for specialist input in management of weight in people with diabetes.

Overwieght and obesity whats need to be done.zakaria mohAhmedaedy
Overweight and obesity are leading causes of diabetes and non-communicable diseases in Kenya. To address this, approaches are needed to prevent obesity through policies influencing food environments, marketing of unhealthy foods, and promoting healthy diets and physical activity. Current challenges include weak multi-sectoral coordination and inadequate nutrition resources. Next steps involve strengthening multi-sectoral efforts through advocacy and leveraging other sectors to reduce obesity.
Dietary guidelines for childdten and Nutrituon commitment as a tool for imple...THL
This document summarizes dietary guidelines for children in Finland and the role of nutrition commitments. It discusses Finland's national dietary recommendations, which provide food-based guidelines for different age groups. It also describes Finland's nutrition commitment program, which aims to implement dietary guidelines and promote reformulation in the food industry, retail, and catering services. The commitment focuses on increasing vegetable consumption and reducing salt, saturated fat, and added sugar. It establishes population-level targets in these areas by 2020. The commitment involves food businesses, municipalities, schools, and others pledging concrete, measurable actions to improve nutritional quality. Initial results showed progress in expanding healthier product offerings and reformulating existing products.
Nutritional deficiencies are very common in india as well as in other developing countries.both macro and micro nutrients are not eaten in adequate quantities in india due to poverty and ignorance. A number of national program are there to combat these deficiencies. But unfortunately effective implementation is lacking due to which nutritional deficiency is not being overcome in our country. Now due to covid -19 these are bound to increase

Nutritional itervention public health .pptxmeseret49
This document provides an overview of nutritional interventions. It discusses direct and indirect interventions, as well as essential nutrition actions. Direct, nutrition-specific interventions target the immediate causes of undernutrition like inadequate dietary intake and illness. Examples include breastfeeding promotion, complementary feeding, and management of acute malnutrition. Indirect, nutrition-sensitive interventions address the underlying determinants of undernutrition through sectors like agriculture, social protection, and education. Essential nutrition actions promote seven evidence-based practices to improve nutrition, delivered through integrated health services and community programs. The document outlines considerations for planning, implementing and evaluating effective nutritional interventions.
The National Nutrition Policy of Nepal from 2004 aims to improve nutrition nationwide by reducing malnutrition rates. The key objectives are reducing protein-energy malnutrition, anemia, iodine deficiency, vitamin A deficiency, and intestinal worm infestation among children and women. The policy outlines strategies like community participation, advocacy, research, and multi-sector coordination to achieve its overall goal of ensuring nutritional well-being for all Nepalis. While programs have scaled up infant and young child feeding, coverage of interventions remains low and nutrition surveys need to be conducted more routinely. Strengthening food security and fully implementing breastfeeding recommendations could help address remaining weaknesses in Nepal's efforts to improve public health through nutrition.

The International Symposium on Sustainable Food Systems for Healthy Diets and Improved Nutrition was jointly held by FAO and WHO in December 2016 to explore policies and programme options for shaping the food systems in ways that deliver foods for a healthy diet, focusing on concrete country experiences and challenges. This Symposium waas the first large-scale contribution under the UN Decade of Action for Nutrition 2016-2025. This presentation was part of Parallel session 2.2: Information and education for healthy food behaviours"
The document discusses strategies to address global malnutrition through both nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions. It emphasizes that implementation requires broad stakeholder involvement across multiple sectors. WFP's role includes meeting micronutrient needs through food assistance and enabling programs. However, bottlenecks like reaching at-risk adolescent girls and providing support to pregnant/lactating women remain. Overcoming these challenges requires partnerships across UN agencies, governments, and other organizations.

The National Soil Testing Center (NSTC) in Ethiopia has 18 soil analysis laboratories in various government ministries. The presenter, Fikre Mekuria, notes that the NSTC's strengths are its analytical service delivery, training, and research on soil microbiology and fertility. Areas for improvement include capacity building, sample exchange/quality control, and accreditation to international standards. The presenter's expectations for the meeting and GLOSOLAN network are to develop competency in soil/plant/water/fertilizer analysis, have periodic country member meetings, and share experiences.
Standard operating procedures (SOPs) are important to have in writing to ensure quality and consistency. Quality assurance (QA) policies aim to prevent errors and ensure standards, while quality control (QC) checks that standards are being met. This poster exercise divides participants into groups to discuss why SOPs are important, what quality assurance entails, whether an organization has a QA policy and how it is implemented, and how quality control is performed.

How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17Celine George
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.
