2. How I Constructed My Audience
Feedback:
• In order to evaluate my work significantly, I decided
to film some of my friends’ responding to my work.
• Those who I asked to respond to my work, also have
knowledge of media and what it is like creating their
own video texts.
• After getting all of the participants to watch my
completed music video, I asked them several
questions about what they thought of my work.

3. What I Learned from My Audience
Feedback:
• Firstly, from my audience feedback, I have learned
that my music video successfully identifies key
conventions of the pop-rock genre, as all of the
participants were able to tell which genre my text
was.
• When asked to describe my music video, the
audience made positive statements, implying that
my text was successful and entertaining.
• Many of the participants said that in their opinion,
my narrative was the most successful part of my
music video, as it was entertaining and emotional.

4. • My audience agreed that my text one mainly appear
to teenage girls, which was my main target audience
that I had in mind when creating my music video.
• When asked which parts of my music video the
participants would have liked to be improved, they
all agreed on the lip sync shots.This has allowed me
to learn that when lip syncing, the shots need to be
dramatic and clearer in order to successfully give the
impression of singing.
• Overall, my music video scored high out of 10 when
my audience rated it, showing that despite my text
not being perfect, it was successful in providing an
entertaining narrative and performance, which
conveyed my genre and target audience well.

5. Conclusion
• In conclusion, from creating my audience feedback
video, I have learned a lot about how my work is
perceived by an audience. I learnt that my music
video had a highly successful narrative, which was
entertaining and had an emotional impact on my
audience. I also learned that I had successfully
conveyed my target audience and genre through my
work. However, from my audience feedback I was
informed on how my lip sync shots could have been
more dramatic and perhaps filmed to a better
quality.
