Joe Lever gathered feedback from their target audience of 16-23 year old students to evaluate their music video and identify areas for improvement. Through questionnaires completed by peers, they learned that the target audience enjoyed the narrative structure and live performance shots, as well as the use of black and white and green filters. However, feedback indicated a lack of guitar shots and that quicker, more complex editing could make the video more appealing. Based on this, Joe added more guitar footage and shortened shots, cutting more quickly to match the tempo of the song.
