The combination of the band's main product (their album) and ancillary texts (music video and promotional materials) is effective in representing the band and connecting various media. The typography, imagery, theme, and representation of the artist are consistent across formats. This consistency creates links between the album, music video, and promotional materials that will help audiences recognize the band and their "under dog" narrative, potentially boosting sales and promotion.

2. How Effective is the combination of your main
product and ancillary text?

3. Typography
• Our Digi pack and magazine poster both contain typography. The layout for these
two texts is very similar even though we used different fonts and colors.
• The style of the typography is consistent of our chosen music genre, the poster is
promoting the band but was make to replicate a boxing promotion poster and
the Digi pack shows conventions and themes that would be seen form an album
cover of the genre and decade of music.
• This will befit us and the audience in terms of promoting our artists and
potentially selling more albums.

4. Imagery
• We were very consistent with the style of our Digi pack and the front of it was a
screen shot from our music video. This creates a link between the music video and
the album. When we made this decision we were think about how a potential
market would react to this and if they would connect the dots and recognize the
album from the music video and vice versa.

5. Theme / Narative
• In our music video we wanted there to be a story line that the audience could
follow.
• Our narrative is based on an under dog boxer that fights his way up to the top, this
motivational story goes hand in hand with the vibe of the song 'Eye of the Tiger'.
• Having a narrative can also act as the bands identity in the eyes of the audience
which could make them stand out more to other artists.

6. Artist Representation
• The singer is featured in our Digi pack, music video and our magazine poster. This
is so that he becomes familiar with the audience and is more easily recognizable,
this is to boost sales a further promote that band. They are the main link between
our Digi pack, magazine cover and music video.
