This document summarizes a presentation about avoiding app store rejections. It discusses that the app review process is partly subjective and depends on factors like the developer's brand. While hybrid apps are allowed, the app needs to provide a high-quality native experience. Common reasons for rejection include not following Apple's guidelines, inappropriate content, or performance issues. Developers are encouraged to address reviewer feedback, maintain communication, and focus on meeting Apple's standards for user experience.

Openbar Kontich // Mobile app automation on a budget by Wim Vervust & Bram ThysOpenbar
Why would we opt for building an on-premise device farm when cloud solutions are in abundance these days? Short answer, because it’s worth it. The long answer involves a few more practicalities. Cost–efficiency has been one of the major selling points. Smaller companies have limited budget and cutting corners is never an option. With enough research and analytics, you can build a solid device pool with limited resources and in return save on manual testing hours. During this test automation story, we will take you through the journey of building our farm.

Insights from Glass Entrepreneur: Developing, Hacking, and Monetizing AppsDavid Vogelpohl
Google Glass has captured the attention of entrepreneurs across many industries! Join us on August 14th as CEO and Founder of Pristine Kyle Samani provides some honest insight about what developing on Glass entails, not just in terms of technical details, but in terms of usability, use cases, market economics, and monetization as a Glass entrepreneur.
The web is evolving too fast, and it could be overwhelming sometimes to keep the rhythm with the pace of all that good work happening by the amazing web enthusiast engineers, so to put it all in a nutshell we'll review the most significant changes in the web platform recently, including the major features and adoptions of PWA - Progressive Web Apps, and AMP - Accelerated Mobile Pages. It's like headlines or teasers, that you can refer to individual topics for details later. You're free to use these slides in your talks, I'd appreciate giving credits though - https://goo.gl/1joHK4
2015 was characterized by unparalleled dynamics in the area of artificial intelligence not only in the technological perspective - AI becomes one of the most important tools for UX designers. It can make the human-machine-interaction more human which will result in a flawless integration in our daily lives. But is there a flip side to it? Will AI be the end of the design and designer as we know them?

Social Products Require Social Marketers.Jon Gatrell
Social Media isn't about just adding another task to the list. To be effective a strategic approach is needed which integrates all of the processes - buying, service and innovation.
With all the focus on social media and the opportunities it affords organizations, there is still very little traction in many sectors and roles. While marketing and communications, pr and other functional groups in technology companies have rapidly embraced social platforms and tactics, the evidence indicates that the majority of Product Managers are less likely to use social options to improve products, engage the market and identify new problems to solve with their solutions. This session will examine the state of product management and social media, while identifying 3 key takeaways which you can put in practice tomorrow to improve your understanding of buyers, your customers and the problems waiting to be solved.

Social's Third Wave: from Listening to Destination to Core Marketing Layer
The first wave of social marketing software let companies listen to their customers, monitor their brands, and inform their market research. The second provided a means to engage consumers and businesses at scale, publishing content and enabling direct interaction across multiple social platforms. The third, just emerging in the past year, will propel brands beyond the platforms themselves, and allow marketers to nuture and capture social's value across numerous aspects of the customer journey, including advertising, on-site and on-premise experience, customer service, and multi-channel interaction. Learn how Adobe is integrating social into data, engagement tools, advocacy distribution, organic sharing, and owned experiences throughout the customer life-cycle, and how this integration will substantially increase social's impact on business operations and value to the organization.

Web designers are having a great time. Over the last year, a lot of web design patterns took off: more simplicity, more cleanliness and more focus. This energy can translate into Flat Design, RWD, web fonts, parallax… Michaël has worked in the Web Design industry since the 90’s. In this session, he will list the current web design trends. Then he will explain WHY they took off, and HOW to achieve them. Get inspired and join the conversation about our Web Design industry.
FITC 2014 Amsterdam - Adobe Apps for Web Designers in 2014Michael Chaize
We all have our habits, our routines and our rituals to create. Web designers need to constantly adapt their creative process to embrace new web trends, such as Responsive Web Design, High-Density Screens or Flat Design. Adobe is also transforming applications to answer these needs.
In this session, Michaël will showcase how web designers can optimize their workflows with Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and new applications such as Reflow CC, RWD, SVG, symbol fonts, web fonts, asset generation and scripting. Join Michaël to discover how to improve your web design process in order to focus even more on your creativity.
