WHAT IS MARKETING CONCEPT ?
The philosophy in which achieving organizational
goals depends on knowing the needs and wants
of target markets and delivering the desired
satisfactions better than competitors. The job is
not to find the right customers for your product
but to find the right products for your
customers.
STARTING POINT
Where other concepts start from factory
marketing concept starts from market.
MARKET: A market is a place where two parties can
gather to facilitate the exchange of goods and services.
FOCUS
The focus of marketing concept is
customer needs.
CUSTOMER NEEDS: Are the things that
a customer wants, needs or expects in a product or
service.
ENDS
The marketing concept ends on profit through
customer satisfaction. Where other concepts
ends on profit through sales volume.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: It is a measure of how
products and services supplied by a company meet or
surpass customer expectation.
