1. Tavamajandus – tugineb tavadel ja traditsioonidel. Kasutatakse algelisi ja muutumatuid
tootmismeetodeid.
Näiteks naturaalmajandus.
2. Käsumajandus – tootmine tugineb valitsuse käskudel. Enamasti on majandus totalitaarse
riigikorra ideede teostamise vahend.

Iga järgmise ühiku tarbimisest saadav kasu on väiksem võrreldes eelmise ühiku tarbimisest
