basically only 2 colours which are
pretty boring. This might put the
reader off buying the magazine as
they might find it boring.

5. OVERALL THOUGHT
 Overall I thought that the colour scheme on the Billboard magazine cover was
the best one out of all of 3 magazines. I thought this because its the one
which the writing stands out the most as it is against a dark background yet
the writing is in bright colours. However I liked the layout and detail on the
Blender magazine the best one out of the 3. This is because it didn’t have to
much information on about different stories yet it wasn’t just based on one
story/ artist. I also liked how on both of the magazines the masthead is also
placed behind the main image which helps it stand out more which will attract
more readers to buy it, especially if the image is seductive/ sexy.
 For my magazine I think that I will follow the idea of both the Blender and
Billboard magazine as they both have very good ideas and layouts.
