Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.

The prostate is an exocrine gland of the male mammalian reproductive system
It is a walnut-sized gland that forms part of the male reproductive system and is located in front of the rectum and just below the urinary bladder
Function is to store and secrete a clear, slightly alkaline fluid that constitutes 10-30% of the volume of the seminal fluid that along with the spermatozoa, constitutes semen
A healthy human prostate measures (4cm-vertical, by 3cm-horizontal, 2cm ant-post ).
It surrounds the urethra just below the urinary bladder. It has anterior, median, posterior and two lateral lobes
It’s work is regulated by androgens which are responsible for male sex characteristics
Generalised disease of the prostate due to hormonal derangement which leads to non malignant enlargement of the gland (increase in the number of epithelial cells and stromal tissue)to cause compression of the urethra leading to symptoms (LUTS

2. Why do you watch music videos?
-It gives a slight insight into the meaning of the song. It also adds a visual input of what the
band is like, or a message they want to project.
-Because they are relevant to what the artist is singing about. it helps visualise the message
within the song.
-They give you a visual side of the story being told within the lyrics.
-I like to see how the artist has linked the music video with their lyrics.
-I watch them because they are interesting.
-I like the songs and I like to see how the producer portrays the lyrics in the video.
3. What do you seek to learn when watching
the videos?
-I don't
-I seek to learn the producer at the end of the video with that long pause.
-Cool outfits
-The artists interpretation of there song
-Nothing
Perhaps a meaning into the song, as in - why it was written and who for.
4. Do you prefer to just listen to the music, or
watch the video?
-I prefer to watch the video as it serves as a distraction for a couple of minutes
-The first choice.
-Both
-I prefer to listen as sometimes the videos often do not refer to the lyrics
-Either. I have no preference within the matter.
-I personally prefer just listening to the music.
5. Are there any songs that make you think
‘What if I were in there?'
-None that come to mind
-Dudududududududududu - Qarude Borestorm
-Yes
-Band Aids "Do they know it's Christmas" as it is such an iconic song that
helped raise so much money for people that were suffering in Africa
-Yes there are. Eminem: Sing for the Moment is one example
-Not particularly. Some bands such as Slipknot have good videos that make me
wish I was there, though!
6. Do you like to watch any music videos to
escape your everyday life?
-I suppose so
-Yes, Getaway Lifestorm
-Yes
-No
-Nope.
-Not particularly. If I were to, it would probably Whitney Houston
7. Are there any music videos that relate to
you?
-Personally no but I can see why music videos such as family portrait by pink
and if I was a boy by Beyoncé would be
-Yes. Hammer time ...
-Kate Bush and Peter Gabriels hit "Don't give up“
-Not that I can think of that will be relevant to this questionnaire.
-I can't say there is...
8. Can you give any examples to music videos that can:
-Distract you from life?
-Relate to your life?
-Make you want to be part of the Band’s/Artist’s life?
-Get you to learn anything from it? (One with a parable)
-Distract you from life? Distract Lifestorm -Relate to your life? Relevant lifestorm -Make you want to be

-Coming Down - Five Finger Death Punch (for all of the points)! It gives an insight into daily life and
struggles that come with it.
9. Are there any music videos that let you know
straight away who its intended audience are?
-Yes. Darude Sandstorm
-Yes. Rihanna, young people
-miley cyrus, one direction videos aimed more towards the young teenage
market
-All of my Music Videos are all for an adult or mature audience. This is because
they are all Hip-Hop music videos.
-All of my Music Videos are all for an adult or mature audience. This is because
they are all Hip-Hop music videos.
10. Do you prefer pop music videos to any
other? Justify your answer.
-Sometimes, especially when they challenge conventions. I have said this because I don't like the
music videos that features the artist/band performing to the camera with a dance routine half way
through the video as I find them quite boring.
-Yes, I do. Darude Sandstorm is a great song that legendariedized music videos. An example of
this would be the lyrics: they're none, all there is dudududududu
-Sometimes. They are easier to play with e.g the video can have any sort of meaning/story
-no as they are all telling a story whether pop, rock, country or any other type.
-No, I like Hip-Hop/Rap music videos. this is because of the relevance to the song in general.
And also, because they are fast paced and they do not lose your attention.
-Not at all. I feel as though pop music often has weird videos to accompany the music and
sometimes it doesn't even make sense.
11. Do you look out for different outfits and musical
instruments throughout the music video?
-I feel that getting the outfit right in a music video is extremely important as if you get it wrong it
can off balance the entire mood of the music video.
-lolno
-Yes! All the time
-No as the majority of the videos do not show the artists using instruments and what does it matter
as to what the outfits are as they are just costumes trying to fit in the context of the story,
-Not really. It does not really matter.
-I personally like guitars. So, if I were to look for a video that contains a lot of this - it would have
to be 'November Rain'!
