The document instructs the reader to take 16 photographs of various outdoor and indoor scenes twice - once with a shallow depth of field so that the background is out of focus, and again with a deep depth of field so that everything is in focus. The reader must use a tripod, manual focus, and change the aperture between shots to receive full credit. They are to shoot pairs of each scene - one with shallow depth of field and one with deep depth of field where everything is in focus.

I want you to view the same scene in shallow depth of field, two different ways, by shooting the same scene
twice: once with background out of focus and once with ALL items in focus.
Step 1: Shooting
 Set camera to “Av” and set your own ISO & WB
 Set LENS to manual focus
 You MUST use a TRIPOD!
 Shoot 2 shots for EACH---one with foreground in focus and one with background – 16 shots total
 You MUST change the APERTURE for full credit; I will check metadata!
