- 2. Framing Marco Marco photography is extreme close up photography. Normally it is suited for very small objects or living things such as insects, this type of photography makes these things look way bigger than it usually is. Landscape Landscape photography is clear HD photographs of things and environment on earth. There are loads of reasons why people take pictures of the environment, such as when people travel they want to take pictures or some people just love the sight of nature and outdoor things. Portrait Portrait photography is a photo of either a person or a group of people. The main focus in these photos are the persons face, in most portraits there is no background but when there is it is blurred out to focus of the person/people’s face. Distance There are different types of distance shots such as long shot- long shot is mainly to identify where the person being film is placed. Close up- Close up is when the camera is zoomed all the way to the person/people’s face this is to show how the characters are feeling, an example of this is when two people are talking and something bad happens the audience can clearly see how the person is feeling.
- 3. Angles High Angle Shot A high angle shot is when a photograph is taken from a high angle , this is called a cinematic technique which makes the object look powerless. Low Angle Shot A low angle shot is when a photo is taken from a low view, such as for actors, when an actor is placed on a low angle then the photographer is taking a picture or video from below the actors eye which makes the view feel more smaller than usual. Canted Angle Shot When a camera is tilted on a certain angle. They sometimes call it the Dutch tilt angle Wide Angle Shot
- 4. Level High Level Shot This is when the camera is placed on a high level while taking a video or a picture shot. Low Level Shot A low level shot is when the camera is placed on a low level while it is on a low angle shot as well.
- 5. Composition Rule of Thirds Foreground Background Background is based on the back of the photograph that is why it is called background this makes the photo that it is based on stand out more. The rule of thirds is a common photography technique. They say that when having a picture you should put it in two horizontal and vertical lines which makes the picture more effective. Foreground is based at the bottom edge of a photograph. Mainly when taking nature photographs it helps make it based of the object that it is suppose to be based on.
- 6. Focus Depth of field Depth of field is part f the lens that only focuses on one object either at the front or back and makes everything else look blurry. Sharp Different lenses perform different type of sharpness in a picture either in size or colour. Soft Soft is making a picture more softer and light which would make the picture turn out more blurry.
- 7. Zoom Digital Digital photography is a type of photography that uses a certain type of electronic device in the cameras lens that captures every single detail in one picture. Analogue Analogue photography is a very old fashion way of taking photographs. This is because when you take pictures the pictures would copy onto a certain material placed in the camera and when taken you are able to copy the picture onto a normal photo sheet. Optical Optical photography is very interesting but difficult. You would have to take photos of the background and a photo far away from the main picture to make the picture look realistic.
