This document provides instructions for achieving level 3 proficiency in manual camera settings. It outlines the order of priority for manual settings as ISO, white balance, shutter speed, and aperture. Photographers are instructed to take 15 photos in manual mode, with various combinations of indoor and outdoor subjects and shallow and deep depths of field, and then have their photos graded in a conference. The goal is for photographers to gain full control over manual settings.

1. Level 3 Proficiency: Manual Settings
Shooting on complete manual is the goal of every serious photographer. You will now have control over your shutter sped
and aperture as well as ISO and WB. Consider your settings in this order:
1. ISO
2. WB
3. Shutter Speed
4. Aperture
5. Exposure (+2, +1, 0, -1, -2)
6. Flash (whether or not you need it)

Step 2: Shooting
Set camera to M and choose appropriate ISO, WB, shutter speed and aperture for OUTSIDE:
1. Subject positioning shallow depth of field
2. Subject positioning deep depth of field (same subject as #1)
3. Leading Lines shallow depth of field
4. Leading lines deep depth of field (same subject as #3)
5. Action shot – person jumping
6. Still shot – person sitting
