interesting shot however, was a shot looking outside Joh Frederson s window, showing the majesty
of the city. It was a collaboration of scale models and paintings, which made up an entire futuristic
city. It was breathtaking, especially considering the time period. The story itself was beautifully
written by Lang and his wife. It was the first science fiction film ever made, no one had made a
futuristic story about robots before, but that s just what Metropolis was on the surface. Inside it was

After reading and watching both the book and the 1932 film Murders in the Rue Morgue. It is
evident that the film went mostly it s own way, taking only small bits from Poe s actual story,

Everybody has experienced a scratching sensation when something brushes against you or where
you think a spider is crawling up your skin. You immediately are sent into a rapid scratching trying
to relieve yourself from the pesky disturbance. However, when you check to see what made you
scratch, you find nothing. Even though there is nothing there, you still feel the urge to continually
scratch. It was from these scratching occurrences that sent Atul Gawande out to discover the

Gawande wrote about a woman named M. who scratched through her skull to her brain in her
