Honey Bees Deducting
In the past year the U.S has lost 44 percent of its honeybee colonies. Certain bee species are on the
brink of extinction because of climate change and the resulting malnutrition. People don t
understand how a world without bees wouldn t be good. Without bees, stores would have a hard
time stocking honey, fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Scientist are looking for ways to help
save the bees. The famous cereal, honey nut cheerios even decided to remove the familiar mascot to
help draw attention to the problem.

and making it specific. For deductive reasoning to take place you first have to have a general idea

The Cure, By Geeta Anand
Some people succeed because they are destined to, but mostly because they are determined to
(unknown). This quote truly represents John and Aileen Crowley, the parents of John, Meagan,
and Patrick in the book The Cure, by Geeta Anand. Having two of their children born with a life
debilitating disease called Pompe disease, was hard to comprehend. Being told that their
children have only months to live due to the fact that there was no medicine on the market to
combat the disease, John decided to quit his marketing executive job to find a cure and make a
drug that will save them. He invested himself and his life s savings in a startup biotechnology
company that grew from 27 million dollars to 137.5 million dollars. There were many challenges
he faced throughout the entire story line, yet he continued to persevere which ultimately paid off.
One of the biggest hardships he faced was after the drug was about to get tested. He was told that
the drug would only be tried on babies that were less than six months old and that his two children
would not be included in the clinical trial. To hear that his children were not going to in fact
receive the drug after all this time and effort was crushing, yet he insisted to find a way that they
would get it. The scientist concluded that it would be good research to see if the medicine worked
in siblings, and they made an exception to let these two siblings be included in the study. His hard
work and willpower to succeed paid off when the

Abel In Momaday s The House Made Of Dawn
His body, like his mind, had turned on him; it was his enemy. (Momaday 89) From a very young
age Abel has been nothing short of different. Some may say slow, odd, stupid or lazy. Throughout
the House Made of Dawn by M. Scott Momaday, Abel shows signs of having slow cognitive skills,
but ultimately Abel shows signs of being Autistic or none the less mentally incompetent.
Abel has never had things easy, from the very beginning Abel was exiled because his father was
not part of the tribe. Abel grew up in a tribe that did not accept him because of his mother s actions.
Tragically at the age of five Abel s mother was taken from him. He was so young that he did not
comprehend it. This tragic event in his life is one that he seemingly mentally blocks. ... Show more

Ultimately, this is the first truly mature thing we see Abel do as he sits with his dying
grandfather. He listens to him talk and sing and stays sober for most of it. However, when his
grandfather dies Abel loses it. Abel s grandfather passed away in the very early morning hours.
Abel sprang into action and immediately dressed him up for the funereal and ran to go get the
priest. The article Symptomatic Autism in Childhood and Adolescence states the autistic child,
is self centered and bases his responses to himself and to the outside world on his own unique
perceptions. This is exactly what Abel did. He thought this is what he should do. He had to get
it taken care of instantly. When the priest tells Abel they will take care of it later Abel is
extremely upset by this and immediately takes off running. Running can be viewed as a way for
Abel to relieve tension as people with Autism must do. Furthermore, many believe Abel s jumpy
thoughts to be a cause of war and PTSD but, Easson states The autistic child lives in the immediate
present and has very little concept of the future or past. This directly relates to Abel in the manner
that there is no transition to the flashbacks. It is seemingly all in one time. In Abel s mind, he does
not understand what is present and what is passed. They all seemingly morph into one in his

The Learning And Use Of The Foreign Language
Nigeria s geographical position where she is surrounded by francophone neighbors such as Chad,
Republic du Benin and Cameroon calls for a functional knowledge of French. With the knowledge
of French, Nigeria and her Francophone neighbors would be able to work together locally and
internationally. This however can only be achieved if there is communicative proficiency on the
part of the citizens. Without this, Nigeria will be linguistically, politically, educationally and
socially isolated from her francophone neighbors. This realization informed certain provisions
guiding languagestudy in Nigeria educationsystem.
The learning and use of the foreign language is not only peculiar to Nigeria. It is a worldwide
phenomenon. Early bilingual education was advocated by the Renaissance humanists but in more
recent times, international organizations are reiterating that position and giving it a broader
application. In 1993, a forum of United Nation s Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) experts hoping to build a world that will be rid of many conflicts tearing it apart
proposed that the education of the young people must include exposure to plurality of languages.
Learning to communicate in a foreign language has long been recognized as an essential
ingredient of a liberal education. Furthermore, in this age of globalization and interdependence that
the world is becoming a smaller place and that more and more people are moving around the globe

Essay On Navajo Culture
Navajo culture distinctively took hold in the four corners area of the Colorado Plateau around
100 A.D., although they are believed to have been around for centuries before then. Disliking
the term Navajo Indians , they refer to themselves as the DinГ© which means The People or
Children of the Holy People . The Navajos are traditionally a matriarchal society. Descent and
Inheritance were determined through the mother. In marital separation, woman kept the property
and children. If the mother died, the children were sent to live with their mother s family.
Navajo women were at the core of social and economic control. They were the potters and
weavers and owned the land and livestock, which was passed on to their daughters, who were
trained to manage them. The Navajo farmed squash, corn, and beans. Some other fruits and
vegetables in their diet were wild celery, wild onion, wolfberry, wax currant, juniper berry, and
yucca bananas. They raised sheep and goats for meat, wool, and milk. They also hunted animals
such as deer and prairie dogs. Occasionally, edible clay was added to food. This increased the

All living things were considered relatives, containing a spirit or inner form. Navajo people viewed
the earth as a mother, with a family of Holy People and livestock as well as human relatives. A
Navajo s relationship to the land where he or she was born began at birth, through the burial of
the umbilical cord. This ensured that the child would be nurtured by its spiritual mother for the
rest of it s life. Such ceremonial offerings continued as the child grew older. Because of these ties to
the land, every Navajo viewed their home site as sacred. If one was forced to move away from his
or her land, he or she would be denied access to sacred places. If a family were unable to perform
ceremonies in their homeland, they would be unable to protect their ancestors and would lose all

Persia And The Persian Question Analysis
Throughout its history, the British Empire was obsessed with its own culture; yet, paradoxically,
the nation sought to understand how the other perceived the glory and dominance of the Lion. This
notion of cultural seems straightforward until one begins to examine its connection to imperialism.
Literary critic Edward Said defined culture as the arts of description, communication, and
representation, [that] have relative autonomy from the economic, social, and political realms that
often exist in aesthetic forms. Forms of culture include the famous popular texts that depicted the
Persian Question during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In 1892, George N.
Curzon wrote Persia and the Persian Question, where he created an imaginary Persia, and
highlighted the nation s ancient imperial past, which they could achieve once again due to
modernization. These two text culturally defined the Persian Question within a Western
perspective; his work created a exemplified Britain s infatuation with the East, while providing the
outlet to for imperialists to exert their cultural dominance in the area. Curzon s work essentially
combines the arts of description, communication, and representation with the political sphere
because it fashioned a cultural space for empireto function within Persia. British print culture
exploited this medium to speared the civilizing mission, while demonstrating England s own fear
Germany and Russia.

Exploring Biographical Knowledge Into The Daily Routine...
The focus of this study was to explore how incorporating biographical knowledge into the daily
routine and care of an individual with dementia can bring about changes in their behaviors that
impact quality of care and quality of life. This chapter assembles the major findings of the study,
considers the unique contribution to the research and practice of the care of peoplewith dementia in
a long term care setting. The implications for further research discussed as well as limitations of the
study considered.
Discussion
The study makes a unique contribution to the existing literature on biographical approaches in
dementia care. The findings suggest a positive effect of this approach for people with dementia in
long term care setting. Similar to Life Story Work, Reminiscence Therapy and Meaningful activities
this study indicates a number of benefits.
First, it promotes increased understanding of the person. It enables nursing home staff to see a
person in the context of his whole life. This in turn leads into deeper relationships. The voice of
the resident with dementia can be heard when he or she is seen as a person and not just as a
patient. The uniqueness of person s needs and values can only be understood and adequately
addressed by knowing his or hers life story. As in case of Rosemary, by learning about her life
experiences the staff were able to see not a mean and loud woman but somebody who expresses her
fear of water getting into her ears, or attachment to

Swing Dance In The 1930 s
There are so many styles of dance that came together to eventually evolve into what swing dance
is today. In the early 20 s and 30 s there was the Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag and the Charleston.
Some of these dance forms such as the Lindy Hop and the Charleston started as an eight count
done in four steps then it evolved in the 1930 s to an eight count with 10 steps. During this time
swingdancehad some substantial changes due to music and regional influences.
At the start of the 40 s the era of Big Bands became very popular and swing dance was easily
adapted to this style of music giving that fast percussion beats in this genre. It brought about new
styles such as the St.Louis shag and the Carolina shag and even stayed very popular till the end of
the 1940 s.
In the 1950 s after WWII brought about the rebellious generation that sparked the creation of Rock
Roll and Rhythm and Blues, swing dance was still popular ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Intermediate and Advanced. Most competitions can only hold about twelve couples at a time and
if the it exceeds that amount they can hold qualifying rounds. Once they get down to about twenty
four couples there will be a quarter final round with two separate rounds for a set of twelve
couples each. Afterwards they hold a semi final round, one round of twelve couples. Lastly, the

Food Stamps and The Supplemental Assistance Program
As I drive by 2520 Irving Blvd Street, I distinctly recall what it felt like to walk out of the
Department of Workforce Services building after I figured out that my family qualified for food
stamps. There wasn t a rainbow that day, after sharp flowing sprinkles fell from the sky. The
parking lot was vacant for the most part. As our familywalked to our old, beat up car my motherhad
shed a tear of relief. For some people that don t know what food stamps (S.N.A.P.) are, it is benefits
from the government usually based on total gross income. The total amount of money the state will
provide depends on several criteria. Before you judge, which I odds are you ve already done,
given that I just told you that my family was impermanently on public assistance. First off, my
mom tried to do everything right. She stayed up late on Wednesday nights clipping coupons. She
baked her own bread. She steered away from credit card debt. She drove a 10 year old car. She
even tried to get her GED except her French is stronger than her English and she couldn t
comprehend much. Amongst the United States is handling an ongoing issue about the
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (S.N.A.P.), which is nearly dropping 47 million
Americans whom don t qualify for food stamps. Overall would increasing hardship and food
insecurities for families that severely need it. While some people milk the system and don t benefit

Creating Systems Without Considering The Users
There have been many efforts to create systems without considering the users. Furnell (2007)
found that while the rules for password creation had been clearly established, websites were doing
little to educate users. Campbell et al. (2011) tested a system that did enforce proper password
creation but seemed perplexed why this did not reduce passwordreuse or the incorporation of
personal information into passwords. This highlights one obvious problem in password research
as there is a hyper focus on user ability to remember a singular password while ignoring that users
need passwords for dozens of applications (Grawemeyer Johnson, 2011).
Instead of treating users as a liability, system designers need to recognize users are ... Show more

When viewed in totality, these examples plainly show the previously noted maxim that users can be
expected to remember at most five distinct passwords used on a regular basis (Adams Sasse, 1999).
Understanding and accepting these human constraints and limitations is key to developing any
robust and secure password schema.
This does not imply a perfectly secure system can be designed. With enough time, any system can
be breached (Katz, Ostrovsky, Yung, 2009). Instead, a reasonably secure password schema needs to
be derived. It should keep users relatively safe while affording them the ability to manage
passwords without concern of forgetting them or recording them.
With those criteria for success in mind, there have been some efforts made to meet the needs of the
users. Duggan, Johnson, and Grawemeyer (2012) analyzed company needs and suggested password
requirements be customized to individual users. While their intentions are laudable, though, the
practicality of their suggestions can be questioned. Most corporations will not see the cost benefit
of investing numerous man hours in implementing such a wide ranging schema.
Likewise, Ganesan (2016) proposes a single sign on solution for companies with an Enterprise
architecture in place. While this might be good for large corporations, smaller companies may not

Foreign Nannies Research Paper
There is an interesting trend growing in the US within families who want their children to learn a
second language at as early an age as possible: They hire a Foreign language speaking nanny. This
effectively kills two birds with one stone giving them someone to look after their young ones while
they work, and also giving the children immersion into a foreign language.
More and more parents are recognising the importance of being bilingual and understand that it is
much easier to learn a language as a child than as an adult. To that end then they are hiring foreign
nannies on the condition that the nanny speaks only in her native language to the children. This is

The Hellenic And Hellenistic Renaissance
The Hellenic and Hellenistic shift was a turning point for Greek culture. The Hellenic are those
who lived in ancient Greece before Alexander the Great. The Hellenistics are those who lived in
the period after Alexander the Great s conquest. Alexander the Great was a mighty and strong
leader of the Greek people. The people that were under his following respected him greatly. We
can tell the drastic changes that occurred after Alexander Great was leader by the art,
philosophies, and religion. The Hellenistic Changes that occurred showed us that the Hellenistic
priorities transformed drastically from what the Hellenic ways were like. The Hellenic and
Hellenistic are greatly differentiated by the art that they created. Their art work showed their
own ideas of what the modern day person looked like in their eyes. When looking at the Hellenic
period of art we find that the Hellenic people displayed what they thought a perfect human
would look like. The Hellenic people thought the truth was in the beauty of the person. The
Hellenic display of art was what ideal beauty was to them. The people in the art looked very
healthy and muscular. In all reality the Hellenic people had less money than the Hellenistic people
put their artwork displayed their people in a rich and higher class way. The textbook says, art in
the Hellenistic Age declined noticeably from high standards of the preceding age ( World

Another positive I found while reading the book Heaven is for Real is that I could not put it
down. This was because chapters were short and they always left the reader at a cliff hanger.
Burpo did a outstanding job keeping the reader engaged and wanting more by somehow creating
cliffhangers after every chapter. Whether it was whether Colton was going to make it out of
surgery or mid conversation about Colton s still born sister, Burpo made it impossible to not start
the next chapter to find out the answer or details to the newest bomb Colton dropped on his parents.
While some may be completely convinced by the innocence of the book, many skeptics

West African Kingdoms Essay example
West African Kingdoms It is generally accepted by scholars and scientists today that Africa is the
original home of man. One of the most tragic misconceptions of historical thought has been the
belief that Black Africa had no history before European colonization. Whites foster the image of
Africa as a barbarous and savage continent torn by tribal warfare for centuries. It was a common
assumptionof nineteenth century European and American Whites promoted by the deliberate

Islam contributed the Arabic script and language to the Sudanic empires, which became known as
centers of learning and culture. The invasion of Ghana by the Muslems along with a disastrous
series of droughts that dried up the vital Bagana and Wagadu Rivers helped to plunge the empire
into economic decline; and it became easy prey for hordes of conquerors who completed its
destruction by the thirteenth century.
After the fall of Ghana, a Black state called Mali became the successor power in West Africa.
The king of Mali formed alliances with other Islamic rulers, and this military and religious
strength made him the most powerful ruler in Africa. Mali was founded by the Mande people of
the upper Niger River, famous for their weaving, mining and architecture. By the close of the
fourteenth century, the Mali empire had achieved greater wealth and power than Ghana. Civil
warfare, attacks from Mossi and Songhay, and the arrival of the Portuguese in Africa mortally
reduced Mali s power.
The third of the great kingdoms of the West, Songhay, began in the early eight

INTRODUCTION
I continued my study in pursuit of the doctoral degree in Biblical Studies by reading the text,
Encountering the Old Testament. Little did I know when I began reading this text that it would so
completely satisfy two of my greatest pleasures; studying the Word of God and studying people s
history.
I am an ardent historian. Knowing and understanding the history of peoples and nations is more
than exciting or simply interesting to me. It is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Scribes who copied the biblical text believed they were copying the very words of God. One group
of scribes committed to preserving God s word was the Masoretes. They did three things to
preserve the text they received: (1) they developed a system for writing vowels; (2) they
developed a system of accents for the Hebrew text; and (3) they developed a system of detailed
notes from the text.
The majority of the text was written in Hebrew, the remainder in Aramaic. The most important
Hebrew copies of the Old Testament are the Masoretic text (the most reliable), the Samaritan
Pentateuch and the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Samaritan Pentateuch contains only Genesis through
Deuteronomy and originated with the Samaritans. The Dead Sea Scrolls contains part of every Old
Testament book except Ester. The Old Testament was also translated into other languages. The
Septuagint, a translation in Greek, has been helpful in resolving some portions of the Pentateuch
and the Targums helps us understand early Jewish interpretations.
How Do We Interpret the Bible?
Use the Grammatical Historical Method
Following the rules of hermeneutics helps us interpret the Bible. The grammatical historical method
seeks to determine what the text says grammatically and what it means historically. In order to
arrive at this understanding we must first consider the context in which the text was written.
Understand the Context There are three kinds of context: immediate, remote and

Harry Potter s Life Has Been Influenced By The Choices Of...
Since the beginning of the series, Harry Potter s life has been influenced by the choices of Albus
Dumbledore. Everything that has happened to Harry has occurred because of Dumbledore, but
does that make him purely Dumbledore s boy or is he his own person with agency to do as he
wants? After Voldemort murdered Harry s parents, Dumbledore decided to bring baby Harry to
his aunt and uncles because they re the only family he has left now, and he feels it s the best
place for him (Sorcerer s Stone). Dumbledore is the one that decided to send him to his relatives
that underfed him, gave him only a closet, hand me down clothes, become their servant, and be
bullied by his cousin Dudley. Later we learn Dumbledore sent him there because of the
protection of his family since his aunt was his mother s sister. The protection meant if
Voldemort came back and tried to attack Harry in his aunt and uncle s home he wouldn t be able
to touch Harry there, but that doesn t justify the actions of his aunt and uncle. For eleven years,
Harry was left in the dark about his parents and magic. Dumbledore was the first person to ever
show Harry any sort of positive emotion or caring attribute, which could lead to Harry becoming
the servant of Dumbledore. In the Sorcerer s stone, Dumbledore gave Harry the invisibility
cloak. He left it with a note saying, your father left this in my possession before he died. Use it well
(Sorcerer s Stone). Dumbledore giving Harry the cloak is crucial to the

Skipping Class Is The Best Years Of Your Life
School is boring, says half of American students who routinely skips (Azuz). Many students
think skipping class is awful, while others think skipping class is a part of the college life.
Skipping class wastes money, more likely causes students to get a lower grade, and forces some
students to play catch up. Furthermore, skipping class can be a part of the college life. People
say College is the best years of your life. Students can t spend all their time behind walls. People
are supposed to explore, find their spot on this earth, and make the best of it. Skipping class produce
more negative outcomes, but can produce some beautiful positive outcomes. Skipping is not
denying the education, but choosing what type of education students want to receive.
Last year, I was the skipper of the freshman class. Sometimes, I just didn t feel like going to class,
or listening to the long boring lecture. I skipped each course at least three times. I m dropped a
total of 3 classes last year, because I failed to go to class. I used to skip one class every week.
English 101 class was so long causing me to lose interest in the class. I would rather watch a
documentary on how to make napkins than sit in his class. I had to drop the class because I
skipped so much, that I wasn t going to pass the course. Another class, Politics 101 wasn t
interesting to me. After I took the final exam, I should have attended class every time. I only
needed three points to pass with a C. The teacher

Gay Families are Still Families Essay
While a popular catchphrase states that family is a circle of friends that love you , from a legal
standpoint, the word family requires definition. Traditionally, a family has been defined as a
married heterosexual couple and their children, but as more and more states are legalizing same
sex marriage, new questions arise. Regardless of one s position about whether gay marriageshould
be legal, it is clear that the definition of family is changing and the legal system will need to
address these changes. Whether it is determining who should be a custodial parent, clarifying
adoption processes, or implementing legal protections in cases of divorce, family lawmust grow and
change along with the definition of family. Through my research,... Show more content on

The article The Peculiar Mechanics of Gay Divorce is a wealth of anecdotes and pull quotes from
field authorities. Because these articles are for mass consumption magazines, their tone is
generally neutral, and journalistic practice has established them as credible sources. One specific
resource upon which I have been heavily reliant in developing my thesis has been The Future
Impact of Same Sex Marriage: More Questions Than Answers. This paper, written by a Professor
of Law at Georgetown University, delves into the historical background of marriage in America,
provides statistics on same sex couples, and introduces questions on how legalization of gay
marriage will impact American law (Hunter). Its sources provide a wealth of additional
information, to be explored further during the research process. Like my other sources, is neutral

much broader range than if I were to rely on direct field research, as they will allow me to cover a

In the fourth segment of Patterns of Exodus, they are researching the judgment of Egypt and the

Pharaoh refused to let the people go as he was still convinced that these punishments were not
coming from the one true God. The death plague of the first born son effected everyone, even
Pharaoh. There came a time where Pharaoh decided to let the people go, and then changed his
mind but the entire Egyptian army was destroyed in the parting of the sea. The Passover has been

Nature v. Nurture in Mark Twain s Pudd nhead Wilson and Those Extraordinary Twins
What makes a person who they are is a difficult dilemma. Mark Twain s novel, Pudd nhead Wilson
and Those Extraordinary Twins is a critical analysis of how nature and nurture can cultivate
emotions and free will, which in turn affects the life of individuals. Twain s faltering sense of
direction began about slavery, moral decay, and deceptive realities (Kaplan 314). The debate of
`nature versus nurture has been one of the most intriguing scientific and cultural issues for most of
the twentieth century, in determining the behavioral aspects of human beings. The changes in

Caucasians in the southern states became the superior race and the Negroes became the inferior
race, thus the labels of Master and slave evolved. Virtually all Anthropologists, Scientists,
Sociologist, Psychologists, and scientists agree that there is no credible evidence that supports
that one race is culturally or psychologically different from any other, or that one race is superior
to another. Yet Twain, In Pudd nhead Wilson creates the character Roxy as both races, one
physically and one mentally. Though her features make her appear to white, Her complexion
was very fair, with rosy glow of vigorous health in her cheeks, her face was full of character and
expression, her eyes were brown and liquid, and she had a heavy suit of fine soft hair which was
also brown (Twain 9). To all intents and purposes Roxy was as white as anybody, but the one
sixteenth of her which was black outvoted the other fifteen parts and made her a Negro (Brand 308).
Environment can influence some personality traits, while others are genetic. The nature theory,
heredity, determines such traits as eye and hair color, due to specific genes passed down from
generation to generation. With the emergence of scientific studies of DNA, many scientists are
finding more traits can also be associated with human cell encoding, such as intelligence,
personality, aggression,

Perceptual Set
The aim of this study was to further investigate whether the interpretation of an ambiguous stimulus
is influenced by immediate past experience, and, therefore, by the establishment of a perceptual set.
It is based on an experiment conducted by Bugelski and Alampay (1961). It was hypothesized that
interpretation of an ambiguous stimuli that can be perceived as either a rat or a human face will be
influenced by the context under which they view the figure and their past experience with other
figures. That is they will be influenced by their perceptual set. The results from this study supported
the hypothesis with the results showing that 88.9% of the participants shown animals perceived the

An Understanding of Biblical Eschatology Achieved Through...
Introduction
Theologian Vern S. Poythress wrote, Theological systems, whether dispensationalist, covenantal,
Calvinist, Arminian, or even modernist, have a profound influence on the way we approach a
given [biblical] text. There is no portion of scripture that is more influenced by the theological
system of dispensationalist than that of biblical prophecy, particularly in the area of God s
redemptive plan from for humanity. The purpose of this essay is to establish that an appropriate
understanding of biblical eschatology can best be achieved through a dispensational theological
perspective.
Covenantalism
To gain a clearer understanding of the tenets of dispensational eschatology, it is necessary to
investigate the main ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As Barry Horner points out, although the covenantalists feign a high regard of the role of Jewish
people in their covenantal construct, there is nothing distinctively covenantal ...when compared
with differing eschatological opinions . Therefore, they view all believers in both the Old and New
Testaments are to be regarded as the same faith community. Both Jewish and gentile believers are to
be collectively designated as the church and thus all the prophecies regarding both Israel and the
church can be amalgamated and regarded as a single entity. Therefore, under covenantalism, the
nation of Israel has no distinct future and the entirety of the Scriptures focuses solely on the
redemption of the church.
Dispensationalism
Dispensationalism interprets God s redemptive history for humanity by identifying specific
periods of time. These periods of time, or dispensations, are understood as having existed in the
past, persisting in the present, and will continue in the future. Charles Ryrie suggests that
Dispensationalism can be viewed as a household run by God. In this household world God is
dispensing or administering its affairs according to His own will and in various stages of revelation
in the process of time.
Dr. Mitchell defines the hermeneutical basis of Dispensationalism as an inductive interpretation of
the Scriptures. Beginning with the book of Genesis, Dispensationalism is built on determining the
progressive revelation of

Social Class Equality
The notions of social class and equality have always played a pervasive role in the history of
America. Every individual living in the world aspires to gain social standing and civil rights in
their own respective communities. This idea is depicted by the phrases Blackness , Double
Victory , and Global City. Because of the controversial view of blackness that white men had of
African Americans, blacks were seen as disparate from the majority of civilization. This lead to
segregation and isolation of the two races, which was further facilitated by the fact that African
Americans had previously been slaves that served their white masters, making them inferior to the
white race. Similarly, women were treated as inferior beings when compared to men, as if they
were a minority group themselves. Both groups had less civil rights and a low societal ranking,
which caused them to push for equality. In the case of the African Americans, they had pressed for
social justice in the form of the Double V Campaign, in which they win the war overseas and win
the war of racismat home. It was thought that by fighting in the army alongside whites against a
common enemy, African Americans would be revered and be on the same footing as the majority
class. This was not the case, as blacks would continue to be slandered and condemned in their
hometowns with little to no change to the conditions they had prior to the war. In contrast, women
sought to increase their social standing through

Christian Vs Ephesians
Christianity is not an ideal, it s a lifestyle choice. You are not born into a religion, you are not a
Christian, Jewish, Buddhist or any specific religion from birth, you are raised as to be that religion.
C.S. Lewis is an example of someone who was brought up in a Protestant household, lost faith
through his teen years and found Christianityin college. We develop our religionthroughout our
years, growing more knowledgeable from our experiences and realizing that each of God s
teachings can relate back to us on a day to day basis. Each book in the Bible is like stories with a

Similarities Between A Streetcar Named Desire And Death Of...
Contrast and Compare how Miller and Williams explore The Theme of Madness in Death of a

Miller s Death of a Salesman and Williams Streetcar Named Desire both explore how the two main
protagonists, Willy Loman and Blanche Dubois cannot adjust to the new society which has
changed drastically around them. Willy Loman is a father, desperate to hold on to the life he once
lived when he was younger. Throughout the play, we see how Willy s state of minddeteriorates as
the play goes on. Likewise, A Streetcar Named Desire portrays the ways in which Blanche, who
represents old values in the old world who believes women should be treated as ladies, attempts to
hide from the reality which she is unable to avoid. Stanley, on the other hand, represents the new
values and is a reflection of reality for Blanche in the way he treats her.

Zeitoun, By Dave Eggers
In the novel, Zeitoun by Dave Eggers, the main character, Abdulrahman Zeitoun, is an immigrant
of Syria who stays in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and is arrested due to the suspicion of
looting, but really is arrested because of his race and how he looks. Zeitoun s faith and loyalty to
his community and home is tested through the many obstacles of Hurricane Katrinaand including
his religion, racism, and his very own dignity. The author, Dave Eggerswho is also the speaker in
novel, proves all examples of Zeitouns challenges credibly in the text.
Quote 1: Zeitoun s grandmother had stayed put during countless storms in her home on Arwad
Island, and he planned to do the same. A home was worth fighting for. (Eggers, 70)
Eggers shows in this quote how Zeitoun refuses to leave his home of New Orleans with his
family. Eggers portrays that even though a house may seem replaceable, Zeitoun still chooses to
not leave his home like his family who did not leave their home land of Arwad Island. The author
also shows the symbolism of Zeitoun s refusal to leave is like his assimilation coming to America.
The symbolism of Zeitoun s refusal to leave also shows how dedicated he is to his new country of
America and refuses to give up when faced with discrimination. Eggers proves that Zeitoun
continues fighting for his home in the United States.

The Motorcycle Diaries, And Ernesto Guevara sMilk
Instances of rediscovery, or reflection throughout a process of discovery, catalyse moments of
reassessment that allow for a complete understanding of otherwise only half formed initial
discoveries. This is represented in both Ernesto Guevara s memoir The Motorcycle Diaries, and the
biographical film Milk (2008), directed by Gus Van Sant, depicting the election of Harvey Milk,
the first openly gay official in California.
In both texts, moments of rediscovery catalysed by personal encounters allow for the reassessment
of initial discoveries, whereupon they are understood more profoundly.
In The Motorcycle Diaries, Guevara s discoveries of the devastating effects of US neo colonialism in
Latin America are only fully understood upon his rediscoveries of the equally harmful nature of not
only tourism, but also his own vagabond traveling. Through their encounters with farm labourers,
Guevara s initial discovery of the Araucanian race s deep suspicion of the white man who... now
continues to exploit them is shown through the prominent motif of sharing mate, which highlights
the early understanding between them. However, this understanding is expanded upon reaching
Cuzco, where the symbolic juxtaposition of the three layers of the city emphasises his reassessment
of how a hesitant tourist [also] pass[es] over things superficially . Even further, in Guevara s
encounter with the Chilean communist couple, graphic imagery accentuates his rediscovery of the

Nationality And Statelessness And The Stateless
Nationality and citizenship are central components of human security on the grounds that they give
individuals a feeling of having a place and personality. They give a legitimate premise to the activity

  • 3. The Cure, By Geeta Anand Some people succeed because they are destined to, but mostly because they are determined to (unknown). This quote truly represents John and Aileen Crowley, the parents of John, Meagan, and Patrick in the book The Cure, by Geeta Anand. Having two of their children born with a life debilitating disease called Pompe disease, was hard to comprehend. Being told that their children have only months to live due to the fact that there was no medicine on the market to combat the disease, John decided to quit his marketing executive job to find a cure and make a drug that will save them. He invested himself and his life s savings in a startup biotechnology company that grew from 27 million dollars to 137.5 million dollars. There were many challenges he faced throughout the entire story line, yet he continued to persevere which ultimately paid off. One of the biggest hardships he faced was after the drug was about to get tested. He was told that the drug would only be tried on babies that were less than six months old and that his two children would not be included in the clinical trial. To hear that his children were not going to in fact receive the drug after all this time and effort was crushing, yet he insisted to find a way that they would get it. The scientist concluded that it would be good research to see if the medicine worked in siblings, and they made an exception to let these two siblings be included in the study. His hard work and willpower to succeed paid off when the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Abel In Momaday s The House Made Of Dawn His body, like his mind, had turned on him; it was his enemy. (Momaday 89) From a very young age Abel has been nothing short of different. Some may say slow, odd, stupid or lazy. Throughout the House Made of Dawn by M. Scott Momaday, Abel shows signs of having slow cognitive skills, but ultimately Abel shows signs of being Autistic or none the less mentally incompetent. Abel has never had things easy, from the very beginning Abel was exiled because his father was not part of the tribe. Abel grew up in a tribe that did not accept him because of his mother s actions. Tragically at the age of five Abel s mother was taken from him. He was so young that he did not comprehend it. This tragic event in his life is one that he seemingly mentally blocks. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ultimately, this is the first truly mature thing we see Abel do as he sits with his dying grandfather. He listens to him talk and sing and stays sober for most of it. However, when his grandfather dies Abel loses it. Abel s grandfather passed away in the very early morning hours. Abel sprang into action and immediately dressed him up for the funereal and ran to go get the priest. The article Symptomatic Autism in Childhood and Adolescence states the autistic child, is self centered and bases his responses to himself and to the outside world on his own unique perceptions. This is exactly what Abel did. He thought this is what he should do. He had to get it taken care of instantly. When the priest tells Abel they will take care of it later Abel is extremely upset by this and immediately takes off running. Running can be viewed as a way for Abel to relieve tension as people with Autism must do. Furthermore, many believe Abel s jumpy thoughts to be a cause of war and PTSD but, Easson states The autistic child lives in the immediate present and has very little concept of the future or past. This directly relates to Abel in the manner that there is no transition to the flashbacks. It is seemingly all in one time. In Abel s mind, he does not understand what is present and what is passed. They all seemingly morph into one in his ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. The Learning And Use Of The Foreign Language Nigeria s geographical position where she is surrounded by francophone neighbors such as Chad, Republic du Benin and Cameroon calls for a functional knowledge of French. With the knowledge of French, Nigeria and her Francophone neighbors would be able to work together locally and internationally. This however can only be achieved if there is communicative proficiency on the part of the citizens. Without this, Nigeria will be linguistically, politically, educationally and socially isolated from her francophone neighbors. This realization informed certain provisions guiding languagestudy in Nigeria educationsystem. The learning and use of the foreign language is not only peculiar to Nigeria. It is a worldwide phenomenon. Early bilingual education was advocated by the Renaissance humanists but in more recent times, international organizations are reiterating that position and giving it a broader application. In 1993, a forum of United Nation s Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) experts hoping to build a world that will be rid of many conflicts tearing it apart proposed that the education of the young people must include exposure to plurality of languages. Learning to communicate in a foreign language has long been recognized as an essential ingredient of a liberal education. Furthermore, in this age of globalization and interdependence that the world is becoming a smaller place and that more and more people are moving around the globe for work and ... • 6. Essay On Navajo Culture Navajo culture distinctively took hold in the four corners area of the Colorado Plateau around 100 A.D., although they are believed to have been around for centuries before then. Disliking the term Navajo Indians , they refer to themselves as the DinГ© which means The People or Children of the Holy People . The Navajos are traditionally a matriarchal society. Descent and Inheritance were determined through the mother. In marital separation, woman kept the property and children. If the mother died, the children were sent to live with their mother s family. Navajo women were at the core of social and economic control. They were the potters and weavers and owned the land and livestock, which was passed on to their daughters, who were trained to manage them. The Navajo farmed squash, corn, and beans. Some other fruits and vegetables in their diet were wild celery, wild onion, wolfberry, wax currant, juniper berry, and yucca bananas. They raised sheep and goats for meat, wool, and milk. They also hunted animals such as deer and prairie dogs. Occasionally, edible clay was added to food. This increased the calcium content.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All living things were considered relatives, containing a spirit or inner form. Navajo people viewed the earth as a mother, with a family of Holy People and livestock as well as human relatives. A Navajo s relationship to the land where he or she was born began at birth, through the burial of the umbilical cord. This ensured that the child would be nurtured by its spiritual mother for the rest of it s life. Such ceremonial offerings continued as the child grew older. Because of these ties to the land, every Navajo viewed their home site as sacred. If one was forced to move away from his or her land, he or she would be denied access to sacred places. If a family were unable to perform ceremonies in their homeland, they would be unable to protect their ancestors and would lose all family ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Persia And The Persian Question Analysis Throughout its history, the British Empire was obsessed with its own culture; yet, paradoxically, the nation sought to understand how the other perceived the glory and dominance of the Lion. This notion of cultural seems straightforward until one begins to examine its connection to imperialism. Literary critic Edward Said defined culture as the arts of description, communication, and representation, [that] have relative autonomy from the economic, social, and political realms that often exist in aesthetic forms. Forms of culture include the famous popular texts that depicted the Persian Question during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In 1892, George N. Curzon wrote Persia and the Persian Question, where he created an imaginary Persia, and highlighted the nation s ancient imperial past, which they could achieve once again due to modernization. These two text culturally defined the Persian Question within a Western perspective; his work created a exemplified Britain s infatuation with the East, while providing the outlet to for imperialists to exert their cultural dominance in the area. Curzon s work essentially combines the arts of description, communication, and representation with the political sphere because it fashioned a cultural space for empireto function within Persia. British print culture exploited this medium to speared the civilizing mission, while demonstrating England s own fear Germany and Russia. The 19th century saw a rise ... • 13. Creating Systems Without Considering The Users There have been many efforts to create systems without considering the users. Furnell (2007) found that while the rules for password creation had been clearly established, websites were doing little to educate users. Campbell et al. (2011) tested a system that did enforce proper password creation but seemed perplexed why this did not reduce passwordreuse or the incorporation of personal information into passwords. This highlights one obvious problem in password research as there is a hyper focus on user ability to remember a singular password while ignoring that users need passwords for dozens of applications (Grawemeyer Johnson, 2011). When viewed in totality, these examples plainly show the previously noted maxim that users can be expected to remember at most five distinct passwords used on a regular basis (Adams Sasse, 1999). Understanding and accepting these human constraints and limitations is key to developing any robust and secure password schema. This does not imply a perfectly secure system can be designed. With enough time, any system can be breached (Katz, Ostrovsky, Yung, 2009). Instead, a reasonably secure password schema needs to be derived. It should keep users relatively safe while affording them the ability to manage passwords without concern of forgetting them or recording them. With those criteria for success in mind, there have been some efforts made to meet the needs of the users. Duggan, Johnson, and Grawemeyer (2012) analyzed company needs and suggested password requirements be customized to individual users. While their intentions are laudable, though, the practicality of their suggestions can be questioned. Most corporations will not see the cost benefit of investing numerous man hours in implementing such a wide ranging schema. The Hellenic and Hellenistic are greatly differentiated by the art that they created. Their art work showed their own ideas of what the modern day person looked like in their eyes. When looking at the Hellenic period of art we find that the Hellenic people displayed what they thought a perfect human would look like. Both Jewish and gentile believers are to be collectively designated as the church and thus all the prophecies regarding both Israel and the church can be amalgamated and regarded as a single entity. • 35. Social Class Equality The notions of social class and equality have always played a pervasive role in the history of America. Every individual living in the world aspires to gain social standing and civil rights in their own respective communities. This idea is depicted by the phrases Blackness , Double Victory , and Global City. Because of the controversial view of blackness that white men had of African Americans, blacks were seen as disparate from the majority of civilization. This lead to segregation and isolation of the two races, which was further facilitated by the fact that African Americans had previously been slaves that served their white masters, making them inferior to the white race. Similarly, women were treated as inferior beings when compared to men, as if they were a minority group themselves. Both groups had less civil rights and a low societal ranking, which caused them to push for equality. In the case of the African Americans, they had pressed for social justice in the form of the Double V Campaign, in which they win the war overseas and win the war of racismat home. It was thought that by fighting in the army alongside whites against a common enemy, African Americans would be revered and be on the same footing as the majority class. This was not the case, as blacks would continue to be slandered and condemned in their hometowns with little to no change to the conditions they had prior to the war. In contrast, women sought to increase their social standing through ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 40. The Motorcycle Diaries, And Ernesto Guevara sMilk Instances of rediscovery, or reflection throughout a process of discovery, catalyse moments of reassessment that allow for a complete understanding of otherwise only half formed initial discoveries. This is represented in both Ernesto Guevara s memoir The Motorcycle Diaries, and the biographical film Milk (2008), directed by Gus Van Sant, depicting the election of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay official in California. In both texts, moments of rediscovery catalysed by personal encounters allow for the reassessment of initial discoveries, whereupon they are understood more profoundly. In The Motorcycle Diaries, Guevara s discoveries of the devastating effects of US neo colonialism in Latin America are only fully understood upon his rediscoveries of the equally harmful nature of not only tourism, but also his own vagabond traveling. Through their encounters with farm labourers, Guevara s initial discovery of the Araucanian race s deep suspicion of the white man who... now continues to exploit them is shown through the prominent motif of sharing mate, which highlights the early understanding between them. However, this understanding is expanded upon reaching Cuzco, where the symbolic juxtaposition of the three layers of the city emphasises his reassessment of how a hesitant tourist [also] pass[es] over things superficially .
