LENGTH OF THE LESSON: 40 MINUTES
CLASS DESCRIPTION: There are twenty-two (6th D) and twenty-five (6th C) students, all
between eleven and twelve years old. They have English classes twice a week, each
class lasts forty minutes. This group of students work actively but they speak a lot in
L1. Their proficiency level is A1.
SKILLS TO BE EMPHASIZED: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
LANGUAGE:
- Vocabulary food
- Present Simple: He has got some grapes. He hasn’t got any milk.
- Present Continuous: He is eating a sandwich.
AIMS:
By the end of this class, students will be able to recognize healthy activities and food.
Besides, they will become culturally aware of how to take care of our health and create
a sense of community and belonging.

Anticipated problems: Some students could have problems in the understanding of
some new structures presented.
Possible solutions: Teacher will provide them the necessary help in order to overcome
that problem using visual aids, gestures and making a wise use of L1 and L2.
