During this lesson, learners will be able to…
● Revise and consolidate different school projects and subject
vocabulary and the verb “To Be”
● Develop learners’ understanding of an ability to use school projects
vocabulary
● Develop their listening skills by listening to the to the repetition and
listening activities of the new vocabulary and expressions.
● Enable the students to recognize the vocabulary and the grammar
structures to speak in third person singular and first person
● Practise pronunciation focusing on /z/ sound by the repetition of
specific words.
● To develop their speaking skills through the answers to answers and
speaking activities
● Deepen their understanding of commands/instructions while
developing their gross motor skills as well.

· Teaching approach: the lesson is based on the Natural Approach, and
organized through the PPP procedure (Harmer, 2010).
· Integration of skills: Listening, reading, writing and speaking will be
integrated through different activities such as questions and answers.
· Materials and resources: In this lesson, Activities organized through the
combination of audio, photocopies, flashcards and games enhance
language learning and acquisition.
· Seating arrangement: According to the group report, the students will be
sitting in pairs and in groups in order to facilitate the interaction with
their classmates and the teacher. Some activities will be done in groups
in order to motivate students to participate
· Assessment: I will check that students understand and identify the
different language items by observing pictures/objects or listening to
their names. I will provide them with the necessary input so that they
may achieve the proposed.
ROUTINE 5’:
- Purpose: to get students into the mood of work and to establish rapport
with them.
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: T: “Hello students!” S: “Hi
teacher” T: “how are you today?” S: “Fine and you?” T: “I am fine”
I’ll ask students: “What date is it today?” I will ask “is it Monday?” No it isn’t,
is it Tuesday? No it isn’t, is it Wednesday? No it isn’t, Is it Thursday? ( I will
nod to them) yes, it is. I will write the date on the board
Transition:
Ok, so now we are going to play a game ok? I want two big groups
Warm up 5´
Teacher will divide the class in two groups taking into account how learners
are sat. Teacher will ask for one volunteer from each group to go to the front
of the class
Teacher will write some words on the board and will say some sentences that
are missing some words. The missing words will be written on the board so
each volunteer will have to circle the correct word to complete the sentence
that the teacher has said.

Ok, so now we are going to play a game. This part of the class is the red team
and this part of the class is blue team ok? I need one volunteer from each group,
who wants to start? I will say some sentences and there is a word missing you
have to find the missing word on the board and circle the word. Ok?
The teacher will ask students what they have to do in order to check that they
have understood the game
Presentation 15´
- Purpose:
● To revise and practice vocabulary.
● To develop their writing skills.
The teacher will make couples and will give to each couple a dice. Each
student will have to throw the dice and write a short sentence using the
pronoun that the dice fell. Students will have to write 3 sentences in the
affirmative and 3 sentences in the negative form.
The teacher will show students how to play for the first time and will write
an example on the board so students can follow the example in case they
find difficult the game.
Ok, so I want couples, I will give you a dice and you will have to throw the
dice and if the dice falls in the word “She” you have to write a short sentence
in affirmative or negative form using the word “She”; for example She is
Pamela or She isn’t Lucia.

Ok, so now we are going to work with your book, can you take out your book.
Development 10´
- Purpose:
● To revise and practice vocabulary.
● To develop their reading and speaking skills.
Students will have to complete the grammar box and carry out the activities
presented in the book in order to consolidate the grammar and vocabulary.
Teacher will check orally each of the activities in order to determine the understanding
of the students.
Transition
Teacher will give to each student a piece of poster so students can write about
their classmate who is sitting next to him/ her
Ok, so now you are going to write about your classmate who is sitting next to you, ok?
Closure 10´
Teacher will hand in a piece of poster so students can write about his/ her classmate
and then tell the rest of the class about his/ her classmate
Teacher will stick on the board a poster as an example so students can follow the
example.

Well done!!! So now you have to open your activity book and you will have to do activity

  • 2. ● Practise pronunciation focusing on /z/ sound by the repetition of specific words. ● To develop their speaking skills through the answers to answers and speaking activities ● Deepen their understanding of commands/instructions while developing their gross motor skills as well. I am I am not /z/ · Teaching approach: the lesson is based on the Natural Approach, and organized through the PPP procedure (Harmer, 2010). · Integration of skills: Listening, reading, writing and speaking will be integrated through different activities such as questions and answers.
  • 3. · Materials and resources: In this lesson, Activities organized through the combination of audio, photocopies, flashcards and games enhance language learning and acquisition. · Seating arrangement: According to the group report, the students will be sitting in pairs and in groups in order to facilitate the interaction with their classmates and the teacher. Some activities will be done in groups in order to motivate students to participate · Assessment: I will check that students understand and identify the different language items by observing pictures/objects or listening to their names. I will provide them with the necessary input so that they may achieve the proposed. ROUTINE 5’: - Purpose: to get students into the mood of work and to establish rapport with them. I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: T: “Hello students!” S: “Hi teacher” T: “how are you today?” S: “Fine and you?” T: “I am fine” I’ll ask students: “What date is it today?” I will ask “is it Monday?” No it isn’t, is it Tuesday? No it isn’t, is it Wednesday? No it isn’t, Is it Thursday? ( I will nod to them) yes, it is. I will write the date on the board Transition: Ok, so now we are going to play a game ok? I want two big groups Warm up 5´ Teacher will divide the class in two groups taking into account how learners are sat. Teacher will ask for one volunteer from each group to go to the front of the class Teacher will write some words on the board and will say some sentences that are missing some words. The missing words will be written on the board so each volunteer will have to circle the correct word to complete the sentence that the teacher has said. 1-……………is Lucia 2- ………….. is Tom, 3- …………..is a pencil

This part of the class is the red team and this part of the class is blue team ok? I need one volunteer from each group, who wants to start? I will say some sentences and there is a word missing you have to find the missing word on the board and circle the word. Ok? The teacher will ask students what they have to do in order to check that they have understood the game Presentation 15´ - Purpose: ● To revise and practice vocabulary. ● To develop their writing skills. The teacher will make couples and will give to each couple a dice. Each student will have to throw the dice and write a short sentence using the pronoun that the dice fell. Students will have to write 3 sentences in the affirmative and 3 sentences in the negative form. The teacher will show students how to play for the first time and will write an example on the board so students can follow the example in case they find difficult the game. Ok, so I want couples, I will give you a dice and you will have to throw the dice and if the dice falls in the word “She” you have to write a short sentence in affirmative or negative form using the word “She”; for example She is Pamela or She isn’t Lucia.

  • 6. sentences. Teacher will ask some volunteers to read aloud their sentences. Transition Ok, so now we are going to work with your book, can you take out your book. Development 10´ - Purpose: ● To revise and practice vocabulary. ● To develop their reading and speaking skills. Students will have to complete the grammar box and carry out the activities presented in the book in order to consolidate the grammar and vocabulary.
  • 7. Teacher will check orally each of the activities in order to determine the understanding of the students. Transition Teacher will give to each student a piece of poster so students can write about their classmate who is sitting next to him/ her Ok, so now you are going to write about your classmate who is sitting next to you, ok? Closure 10´ Teacher will hand in a piece of poster so students can write about his/ her classmate and then tell the rest of the class about his/ her classmate Teacher will stick on the board a poster as an example so students can follow the example. She is Pamela She is 13 years old. She is in year 1 She isn’t in Maths. She is in English Transition Well done!!! So now you have to open your activity book and you will have to do activity one and two for next class Homework Teacher will ask learners to complete activity one and two from their activity book.
