LEADERSHIP
PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH
EVERY TEACHER IS A LEADER AND EVERY
LEADER IS A TEACHER
DO NOT BE, “DINE BANGUS, PREACH
GALUNGGONG”
LEADERSHIP BY
EXAMPLE IS
LEADERSHIP
THROUGH ACTIONS
SIMPLE ACTIONS
EASY TO FOLLOW AND
REMEMBER
MANY CAN RELATE OR FOLLOW
MANY PEOPLE PREFER THESE
ACTIONS
LEADERS ARE CONCERNED
ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO WILL
FOLLOW THEM
PEOPLE, MOST OF THE TIME,
CONSIDER THEIR LEADERS
LACKING
PEOPLE ASK FOR CHANGE
DIFFICULT ACTIONS
HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND
FOLLOW
FEW PEOPLE CAN RELATE OR
FOLLOW
FEW BRAVE PEOPLE WOULD
CHOOSE THE DIFFICULT
LEADERS ARE CONCERNED
ABOUT CREATING SOMETHING
NEW
PEOPLE, SOMETIMES, GO
AGAINST THEIR LEADERS
PEOPLE ASK FOR INVOLVEMENT
Studies First.
Never sacrifice your academics.
In times of uncertainty, ask questions.
The one next to you may know the answers.
Recognize authority.
There is always someone above you.
Set your priorities.
Be able to identify the most important tasks that you must do.
Be in a team. Act like a team.
You will never be left alone to do things so don’t leave others too.
Take time to laugh and play.
The brain and body requires a break from serious work.
Rest.
When you’re sitting and not moving, it doesn’t mean that you’re not doing anything. You’re
just thinking things out.
Take initiative in doing work.
Don’t let someone else do the things that you can do yourself.
Know when you’re being too much.
People may be offended by your actions and may cause misunderstandings in the group.
Never be dull for a moment.
Always look for things that you can do. Never allow yourself to be unproductive.
LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE CAN BE GOOD OR BAD
DEPENDING UPON THE LEADERS AND
CONSTITUENTS
LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE SHOULD APPLY TO
LEADERS AND CONSTITUENTS WHO ARE TRYING
TO DO THINGS FOR THE FIRST TIME
LEADERS OF EXAMPLE THINK DIFFERENTLY AND
THEIR CONSTITUENTS MAY OR MAY NOT
UNDERSTAND THEIR INTENTIONS
Know how to listen
Know how to admit one’s mistakes
Learn to value the strength of others
Learn to accept the weaknesses of others
Take advantage of your capacities as a leader
Assess one’s capacity and competency
Be spontaneous
Love your work
Love your members
Will this matter a
year from now?
