Title Pages For Essays
Writing an essay on the seemingly straightforward topic of "Title Pages for Essays" may appear
deceptively simple at first glance. After all, a title page is just the introductory element of an
essay, right? However, delving into the intricacies of creating an effective title page reveals a
complexity that is not immediately apparent.
Firstly, one needs to consider the specific formatting requirements dictated by the chosen citation
style – whether it be APA, MLA, Chicago, or another. Each style has its own set of rules
regarding font size, spacing, alignment, and the placement of various elements on the title page.
Navigating these intricacies can be a challenging task, requiring meticulous attention to detail.
Furthermore, the title page is not merely a mechanical component but an integral part of the
essay's presentation. Crafting a compelling and concise title that captures the essence of the essay
is an art in itself. It involves striking a delicate balance between creativity and informativeness,
ensuring that the title both piques the reader's interest and accurately reflects the content.
Beyond the title, one must also address other elements on the title page, such as the author's
name, institutional affiliation, and date of submission. Each of these elements comes with its
own set of guidelines, adding another layer of complexity to the essay-writing process.
Moreover, as seemingly mundane as it may sound, the title page sets the tone for the entire essay.
It serves as the reader's first impression and can influence their expectations and perceptions.
Achieving the right balance of professionalism and creativity on the title page is a subtle yet
crucial aspect that should not be underestimated.
In conclusion, while the topic of "Title Pages for Essays" might seem straightforward, the
process of writing an essay on this subject reveals the nuanced challenges and considerations
involved. It demands a keen understanding of formatting rules, a creative flair for title creation,
and an awareness of the title page's role in shaping the reader's perception. Crafting an effective
title page is not just a technical task but an integral part of the essay-writing art.

Rebirth in Sylvia Plath s Lady Lazarus, Fever 103,...
Rebirth in Lady Lazarus, Fever 103, Getting There, and Cut
The Ariel period poems of Sylvia Plath demonstrate her desire for rebirth, to escape
the body that was drummed into use by men and society. I will illustrate the different
types of rebirth with examples from the Ariel poems, including Lady Lazarus, Fever
103, Getting There, and Cut.
Lady Lazarus, the last of the October poems, presents Plath as the victim with her
aggression turned towards her male victimizer (33). Lady Lazarus arises from Herr
Doktor s ovens as a new being, her own incarnation, the victim taking on the powers
of the victimizers and drumming herself into uses that are her own (33). Linda
Bundtzen also sees the poem as an allegory ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

During the multiple orgasms of Fever 103, the delirious woman sublimates a body
sick with desire into an acetylene virgin flame and thereby rids herself of any need
for men to complete herself sexually; Thus, Plath freed herself from male dependency
(Bundtzen 236).
Two Ariel poems Cut and Getting There do not exhibit a full rebirthbut rather exploit
the female body s victimization to mover towards new self perceptions (Bundtzen
247). In both poems the female body remains passive, acted upon by the mind s
transforming powers (Bundtzen 247). In Cut the amputation of the thumb is a
symbol of female castration; she became a dirty girl, unable to be a pure female
any longer. Plath understands her self amputation as an acting out of her self hatred
as a woman, she is deficient by virtue of her female wound (Bundtzen 247 248). The
speaker is cut while doing her duty and she unconsciously tries to stop it by cutting
off her finger.
In Getting There, the speaker is a Jew in a box car on her way to a concentration
camp. She identifies with all the wounded and dead: The tent of unending cries
(Plath 248). What gives the speaker this solemn sympathy with the casualties of war
is her female body. She knows these atrocities as a part of her very being, her genesis
(Bundtzen 249):
There is mud on my feet

Janie Is Black Woman With Partial White Ancestry
Summary of each main character
Janie Crawford: Both the narrator and protagonist of the novel, Janie is black woman
with partial white ancestry. She is noticed by her straight Caucasian like hair and
light black skin, giving her beautiful physical beauty. But behind her beauty she is
strong willed, curious, and defies gender stereotypes. Janie tries to find fulfillment on
her quest for wholeness and individualism.
As a child, Janie was raised by her grandmother, Nanny. Nanny decides for Janie to
marry Logan Killicks at a young age. When Joe Starks enters Janie s life, Janie
decides she doesn t and never loved Logan or the life she lived with him. Janie

Janie was not at all interested in this marriage, but being young and naГЇve, accepts
this. Logan shows very little interest in Janie soon after she starts living with him.
He complains she doesn t do enough work on the farm and that she doesn t
appreciate a hardworking man like him. Logan orders Janie around and expects her
to act as a proper wife. When Janie threatens to leave Logan, Logan is not sure how
to put his fear into words. Instead he brushes off Janie s threat and believes she will
still be there in the morning when he wakes up. Realizing that this isn t the kind of
love she wants or life she wants to lead, Janie leaves Logan for Joe Starks.
Joe Starks: Often called Jody by Janie, Joe Starks is Janie s second husband. Joe
attracts Janie with his ambition and charisma. Unfortunately, Janie learns that Joe
is controlling, feels the need to be superior to everyone, and has an overwhelming
jealously over Janie. Joe uses Janie to support his position as mayor with her

Abstract
In this lab we looked at the mold on three different fruits in three different
environments to asses which fruit would have the most mold and in which
environment the mold would be present the most. For the experiment we used fruits
that were in season so that we could also compare organic and non organic fruit.
Because of this my group chose tomatoes, peaches and apples. We hypothesized that
peaches would rot the most out of each of the fruits and that the peaches would rot
the most in our warmest environment, the incubator. The fruits were then observed
over a period of weeks. At the end of this period of time the peaches had rotted the
most and burst and the peaches in the incubator were the first to go.
Introduction
After learning about different types of mold in lab as well as in lecture, my group and
I were interested in studying mold more. We wanted to know which fruits from our
selected few would rot the most and in which environment would they be most likely
to rot or mold in. We learned ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We will also see if there is any big difference between organic and inorganic fruit.
According to our lab on fungus we already knew what the mold would look like so we
were pretty confident that we would be able to identify it without a problem (lab 17
The Kingdom Fungi). With our own knowledge we hypothesized that that out of the
tomatoes, peaches, and apples that the peaches would rot the most and that they
would rot the most while in the incubator (an environment which is approximately 90
degrees Fahrenheit). About a month later and having observed our fruits in various
increments we found that the peaches and the tomatoes were pretty close together but
they peaches ultimately molded the most and molded the most within the

The base boost: The base boost stores maximum direct current voltages as it is
loaded with so many capacitors. In case of a power failure, the direct current
voltages stored by the batteries will be transferred back to the base boost ii. The
inverter: The voltage from the base boost will be transferred to the inverter board.
The inverter converts the direct current voltage to alternating current voltage for the
transmitter to use it. iii. The control panel: The control panel board is the one that
controls all other part of the U.P.S meaning, any every part of the U.P.S is being
connected to the control panel. iv. The thyristor board: The thyristor board is the
most important part of the U.P.S as it helps in the conversion of AC current to DC
and also DC current to AC.
v.The rectifier board: This board converts Ac voltages to Dc voltages during the
process of charging for the batteries to use it. The U.P.S as a whole consists of 48
batteries in all, and each battery is 12 volt and 26 amperes. The 48 batteries are
divided into 2 sections. That is 24 in series and another 24 in series. The last
terminal of the first section of the batteries, (24) which is negative is connected to
the first of the second section of the batteries (24) which is positive. This means that
all the 48 batteries are connected in series.

To What Extent Do Salt, Bases, Sugar, And Water Affect...
Research Question:
How will salt, acids, bases, sugar, and water affect yeast fermentation.
Rationale:
This project is about yeast fermentation in different environments. Yeasts are
microscopic organisms that are a branch of fungus. Yeasts are required to obtain
food from their surroundings. They also feed off of sugar and starches. Fermentation
is a metabolic process that converts sugars to acids, gases, and or alcohol. In the case
of this experiment, the yeast will turn the sugars into carbon dioxide (gases). This
project is important scientifically because it will provide society information about
which environment s yeasts should be put in to induce the highest amount of
fermentation. In a baker s case, this would be important because ... Show more

Faith by Richard C. Chewning, John W. Eby, and Shirley J. Roels. The book The 7

Chewning, Eby, Roels state in their book Business Through the Eyes of Faith,
Business is, after all, and institutionalization of God s intention for us to work and
serve each other they go on to say, It affords us opportunities to plan, organize, lead,
follow, and develop skills in a number of areas all mirroring godly qualities. (p 7) To
be redemptive agents of God, bring the message of salvation. Which has been offered
to us, by the life, death and resurrection of God s beloved and only son Jesus Christ.
A biblical view of work and vocation The Bible affirms in Genesis 20:9 Six days you
shall labor and do all your work. (NIV) We are to work with all of heart, put
everything into it for we are not working for ourselves or others. We are working
for God. Just look at Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not human masters. (NIV) The Bible is full of commands
for us to work. Found in Proverbs 14:23, All hard work leads to profit, but mere
talk leads to poverty. (NIV) Also found in Proverbs 28:19, Those who work their
land will have an abundant food, but those who chase fantasies will have their fill
of poverty. (NIV) We are to use our work and business to honor God. Work and
working is an important and vital part of being human. The word work or working
appears five hundred and fifty five times in the NIV Bible. That just goes to
How Does Jane Austen s View Of Marriage
The world of Jane Austen s, Pride and Prejudice is one in which women s rights
were limited due to society s patriarchal point of view. In Jane Austen s world,
women suffered on the account of their gender in a class pretension society making it
only possible to increase social mobility through the mean of marriage. Austen
depicts marriage as an economical business, needed to rescue women from
succumbing to a life of poverty and disgrace. In a society that affirm the principle
values of marriage as a social institution, Austen shows the many sides of marriage
and satirizes marriage that base love on appearances, wealth and class by showing
that it only leads to one own misery and unhappiness, whereas true leads to happiness
and joy. It is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Charlotte insists that Mr. Collin is the best she could hope for. From this scene, it

In her eyes, the success of her marriage lies in the comfortable economy of their

Charlotte has settled into married life and she encourages Mr. Collins to work in
the garden and leave her to the enjoyment of their home. As they drink tea in a

Charlotte married solely for the security of the home because she confines herself
inside while Mr. Collins stays out. They both finds contentment in their marriage only
when they are not in the present of one another. Austen reveals her sensibility for
Charlotte as a vestigial character left over from an era of practical marriage rather

Rapidride Case Study Solution
There are two source of data I found online as follows.
Firstly, the budget to initiate RapidRide service is $215 million (2010 2011
figures). Of this total, $50 million is for corridor and roadway improvements, $28
million for passenger facilities, and $7 million for the real time information signs.
The majority of the budget is the $128 million for new vehicles. The limited $50
million for corridor and roadway improvements does not include other potential
upgrades to the corridors such as improving pedestrian and bicycle access within the
quarter to half mile service areas around stations and stops. (ULI Seattle 2011)

It shows that RapidRide ridership makes up almost ten percent of the overall system
ridership while being 21 percent cheaper to operate per rider.
For the E and F line starting from 2014, the budget is relatively lower than the
beginning. Comparing the two lines, the extra cost of new buses on the E Line is
offset through lower roadway/communication/TSP costs and passenger facilities.
This is likely because SDOT and Shoreline have already done most of the work to
prepare signals for TSP along the corridor by upgrading signal controllers and
cabinets, which is necessary for various component of the RapidRide ITS system to
operate. (Parast 2017) E LINEF LINE

One of the most influential of her political reforms came about in 1767, called the
Instruction ( Catherine, II ). The Instruction was a major reform of the government
system in Russia, not only that but it was full of Enlightenment ideals ( World ).
Catherine II borrowed ideas from many Enlightenment philosophers such as
Montesquieu, Beccaria, and Adam Smith ( Catherine, II ). She worked on the
Instruction for 2 years, but it was never put into effect as it called for a system of
government that was too far ahead of its time ( Catherine the Great ) ( World ).
Notwithstanding the years spent on the Instruction, Catherine II still managed to
create reforms that brought Russia into a more modern age. In the Statute of 1775 on
Provincial Government, she sought to eradicate rampant corruption in provincial
governments. To do this, she created a system under which provinces were controlled
by agents from the central government in St. Petersburg. This idea then spawned an
additional law that was modern and democratic in spirit, it called for the help of
villagers and townspeople in governing themselves through elected office

The Death Of Juliet s Deaths For Romeo And Juliet
Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, was originally published in
1597. Until this day, the play is very well known worldwide. The classic love story
is set in Verona and is about a long feud between the Montague and Capulet
families. This feud causes the death of their beloved children, Romeo and Juliet,
who are described as star crossed lovers. It is a play of contrasts of love and hate,
joy and sorrow, light and dark, youth and age, life and death. Some readers will
blame the main characters, Romeo and Juliet for bringing about their tragic
deaths, however some may argue that other characters are responsible for their
deaths, with only little of the blame to be placed on Romeo and Juliet. Firstly, one
character who is undeniably responsible for Romeo and Juliet s death is Friar
Laurence. There are three primary reasons he is accountable for Romeo and Juliet
s death. The first reason is that he gave the poison to Juliet. In the last few scenes
of Act Three, we find out that Juliet will have to marry Paris and because she does
not want to, she seeks Friar Laurence for advice. Juliet s feels that her only solution
is to kill herself, but Friar Laurence advises her there is another way out; drinking
the potion that will stop her pulse and breathing, making her seem like she is dead
for forty two hours: When presently through all thy veins shall run / A cold and
drowsy humour, for no pulse / No warmth, no breath, shall testify thou livest, / The
roses in thy

the war that him and his family had to live through. Kenan had very skeptical
views about how his homeland turned out to be after the war, but once he traveled
back to Bosnia with his family his perspective was greatly changed. Kenan was
about thirty years old when he decided he was going to make a list of all of the
things that he wanted to do when he got back to Bosnia. After traveling back, he
soon realized that things were much different than he anticipated, and he decided to
make a new list. When Kenan made his original list it had a lot of hate in it. The first

and to escape the horrible life they were living (Trebinčević 296). The first item
on Kenan s new list was, Thank God for Obren, who warned Dad and Mujo away
from the Partizan Sports Hall (Trebničević 297). The Partizan Sports Hall was a
popular place that Kenan and his family occupied a lot. This is the place that
Kenan was able to learn karate as a child from his coach Pero. But, it was also a
place where innocent people were being taken during the ethnic cleansing that
happened in Bosnia. It was very important that Obren was there to warn Kenan s
father and his friend to steer clear of this place now, otherwise they probably would

Informative Essay On Roadmasters
Is it a car, sports car, super car? No, it s a super sports car While many cars have
been released by major automobile powerhouses, there are only a few that have
lived up to their hype. These are the cars that still retain their charm years after
their release, thereby earning themselves the name roadmasters . I recently found
one such car and just on first glance, I was sure it is what I needed so I explored
further, and here is what really made me fall in love with this new release. I am
talking about Lamborghini HuracГЎn Performante. Exterior Design: Exteriors are

The trim version has carbon fiber seats. However, the option of leather upholstery is
also available. Before the ignition, the driver s information system shows the
perfomante outline. Large HD 12.3 TFT display acts as the information center or
virtual cockpit for the car. The display is available with GPS navigation (Google),
Bluetooth, Multimedia interface and 3D computer graphics all from Nvidia.
Lamborghini Infotainment system keeps you entertained. The dashboard has four
manually adjustable AC vents made out of composite materials and also has
illuminated glove compartments on the passenger side. There is a total of about 190
liters of storage capacity. 70 liters behind the seats and about 120 liters in the front
boot. Engine specifications and fuel economy: Lamborghini HuracГЎn Performante
houses a rear mounted 5.2 Liter V10 engine under the hood. At 8000 rpm it delivers
a power of 640 horsepower through an all wheel drive that is electronically
controlled. The boost in performance is also achieved through shaving off about 90
pounds of weight, by using composite materials and
The Debate Of Assisted Suicide
The topic of assisted suicide is very controversial and is heavily debated upon all
around the world. While physician assisted suicide is only legal in the Netherlands,
Switzerland, and a few states in the U.S., it is illegally practiced widely by physicians
and nurses, such as Dr. Jack Kevorkian. I first heard of physician assisted suicide
when the deathof Dr. Kevorkian, an assisted suicide advocate and a suicide aid, was
on the news in 2011. Kevorkian assisted in the suicide of many patients who could
not find any more reasons to live. Many people oppose of his practice, but I believe
Kevorkian was trying to help these patients find peace. This topic is important
because it can help end the long pain and suffering of patients. Seeing the struggles
of the patients Dr. Kevorkian has worked with makes me believe that the
legalization of physician assisted suicide it necessary, but not everyone agrees. The
main focus of this paper is how the rights and decisions of terminally ill patients may
impact the rest of us. The audience of this research paper is made up of physicians
and nurses practicing physician assisted suicide, patients with terminal illnesses,
families of patients with terminal illness, and judges and jurors dealing with cases in
this field. The purpose of this paper is to help others understand the importance of
this topic and become informed on how the denial of assisted suicide can affect
patients.

I seem to have always had an underlying passion for infrastructure. That is a fact
which I only came to fully comprehend during the summer. The Python Bridge, with
its red snake like abnormal shape, and Magere Brug, with its iconic drawbridge

that realisation of modern life being wholly dependent on engineering, which is
everywhere and is always changing; perhaps it is the pressures of the ever
increasing population and global warming; or perhaps it is the idea of helping to
change the world around me to meet the demands of the future generations. That has

Public Policy Vs. Administration
Public Policy and Administration is an interesting and important knowledge for all
people. Every one on this earth, regardless of his profession, hobbies, or religious
views, faces these concepts. This paper is going to describe the concepts of public
policy and administration and an importance of this area for effective and efficient
management.
A public policy is an activity that has a good combination between politics and
administrative activities. The major goal of public administration are established and
introduced to political actors. So, a public policy sets the goals for public
administration.
The state policy chooses the direction, in which the state develops. Interests of the
state determine the direction of its development. An experienced politician should
always be a cautious man who knows what will be important for people tomorrow
and after five or ten years. This quality will allow him or her to motivate people and
to develop the country in needed sectors.
In order to avoid a political crisis, the government should not only clearly determine
a list of priorities for people, but also represent their current and long term interests.
This way, the public policy will be properly developed and will have an accurate
strategic line. The government will also manage to control the situation inside the
country and become a significant player in the international political arena.
According to some scholars, public administration is an organizational and regulating
Aquinas Cosmological Argument Essay
Aquinas Cosmological Argument is a method for proving God s existence and its
foundation is based on the fact and observation that the universe exists. Aquinas
states that in order for the universe to exist (an idea that we know to be true), there
must also exist a cause that caused the existence of the universe. He concludes his
argument by saying that God, an unperceivable image, is the cause of the universe,
which further verifies His existence. This argument proves that in order to accept the
factual, former claim that the universe exists, it is necessary to accept the latter claim
that God exists as well.
Anselm s motto, Faith Seeking Understanding, has to do with the search for a
deeper knowledge of God and asserts the idea that faith in Him comes before
understanding God in His entirety. Anselm claims that we don t have to understand
God in order to have faith or belief in Him. Rather, Anselm says that in order to
understand God, we should first develop that faith and belief, which ultimately allows
us to comprehend God.

Theology, on the other hand, obtains knowledge and truths based on both reason and
on revealed truth and faith. As a result, Aquinas saw philosophy as a subset of
theology because theology deals with both reason and revelation to obtain
knowledge, while theology only uses reason. In a similar light, Aquinas also believed
that all theologians are philosophers, but he did not see all philosophers as
theologians. Consequently, Aquinas saw theology as superior to philosophy because
of theology s unlimited potential and means of acquiring truths/knowledge; in other
words, theology encompasses subjects that reason, or philosophical studies, cannot
Descriptive Essay On Being A Waitress
It s always nice to go out to eat, order a nice meal that you do not have to cook and
be served everything you want. When going out to eat, have you ever thought
about the person that is serving you food, getting you drinks, and making sure you
have a pleasant experience at the restaurant of your choice? That person is a server.
He or she is a waiter or waitress. I ve gone out to eat a lot, and I ve always been a
little curious what is like to be the person serving the food and not eatingit. I chose to
research this subculture because I was so curious about it. I have some friends
that wait tables, but I hadn t really thought about how being a waitress involves so
many things aside from serving food. Waitressing is more about handling all
different types of people, and learning to multitask successfully than just serving
food. When I go out to eat, I usually only notice if the waitress or waiter is nice to
me and my party. I make sure that all of the food and drinks come out the way we
ordered them, and I also pay attention to how the food tastes. When I started my
research and observation for this ethnography, I started to pay more attention the
server when I was eating at restaurants. I started to notice how many tables the
server waited on, I noticed how many times he or she had to take food back to the
kitchen because someone thought it was wrong or not cooked right, and I also
noticed how unhappy he or she was when they left a certain table. I have also
Conflict Resolution At General Hospital Essay
Conflict Resolution at General Hospital Key Issues This week s case encompasses a
nonprofit community hospital (General Hospital) that has been subjected to
competitive forces that have hindered profit margins by directly affecting the patient
occupancy by over 25%. In response to the diminishing returns, Mike Hammer,
General Hospital s CEO, decided to curtail spending and increase costs by
implementing physician controlled costs. The following key issues have been
attributed to Hammer s leadership and direction given to Marge Harding, the newly
appointed chief operating officer (COO) (Hellriegel Slocum, 2011): 1.Hammer has
exhibited unfavorable interpersonal conflict handling and poor emotional intelligence
by not attempting to understand Dr. Mark Williams , the director of medicine, point
of view, hindering potential compromise or the creation of a win win solution to the
revenue issue. 2.The direction Hammer gives to Marge Harding perpetuates a forcing
style of conflict handling, which disregards employee considerations. 3.Harding did
not discuss internal concerns prior to her decision to terminate Dr. James Boyer and
elected to seek advice outside of the organization by contacting Joel Cohen. This may
have attributed to a solution that did not consider organizational concerns particular
to General Hospital, making it hard to perceive the potential consequences of
terminating Dr. James Boyer. 4.Hammer s disconnection from the decision making

Amazon s First Brick And Mortar Store

Nick Wingfield writes that Amazon can improve physical retail through their data
centric approach to online retailing (Alter, A. and Wingfield, N., 2016). Amazon s
first brick and mortar store differs from traditional independent bookstores. Amazon
has forsaken the charm of a funky used bookstore in favour of a clean...well lit and
corporate atmosphere (Alter, A. and Wingfield, N., 2016). The store is small and
has a limited selection of 5,000 books, a tiny percentage of what most independent
booksellers would carry (Vuong, 2016). All titles are face out (rather than spine out)
and each carries a review card with the Amazon.com customer rating and a review

Traditional brick and mortar bookstores refuse to stock titles published by Amazon
(Vuong, 2016). Placement in a physical store increases a title s visibility, attracting
more customers. Amazon is unable to offer this benefit. By opening its own stores,
Amazon can promote titles published by CreateSpace and generate revenue for its
authors, thereby attracting bigger name authors to their platforms (Elgan, 2016).
In the past, Amazon has encouraged customers to use brick and mortar bookstores as
showrooms physical locations where you interact with a product before buying it at
Amazon.com. Industry insiders now speculate that Amazon s physical stores are
intended as showrooms for Amazon s other products, particularly their technology.
Electronics...are the nucleus of the store (Alter, A. and Wingfield, N., 2016), and the
stores provide a way for Amazon to introduce their technology to the public: Techies
might be comfortable buying a device like the Echo online...but a lot of people will
want to see it in the flesh first (Alter, A. and Wingfield, N., 2016). Amazon can
promote their entire range through a brick and mortar bookstore, generating an
increased market share for their other products.
2.3 Place
The placement of Amazon brick and mortar stores allows them to target a specific
market. Amazon s existing store in Seattle and their planned second store in San
Diego are placed near major universities, indicating that Amazon is targeting

Abstract
This research paper will describe the demography, labor force and the business cycle
of Mexico. Mexico is a federal republic, and it consists of 31 states and the Federal
District. The Constitution established separation of powers. The country itself has a
perimeter of 761,602 square miles. Mexico underwent an increase in purchasing

The energy reforms will restore an industry that has had a deficiency in technology
for quite some times now. US oil companies will lend their resources that the
Pemex currently doesn t have. This is a good opportunity to help boost Mexican
oil production, which has been falling for years. We need resources, technology
and knowledge. Therefore, it is important to work with those who do have (PeГ±a
Nieto). Mexico has been a top crude oil supplier to the US. However, its petroleum
production has declined in the last decade. The reform opened Mexico s oil and
natural gas sector to international companies that could potentially help Mexico
reverse the shortage/lag in the production. Besides US, Mexico has other trading
partners like China, Japan, South Korea and Germany (Clare Ribando Seelke).
Ultimately, these reforms could create investment opportunities for US companies,

What Does It Mean To Be Educated Essay
From the start of time, to present day, the only way to achieve almost anything this
world is to have an education. But, who decides if you re properly educated, and
where does this education come from? What it means to be educated is perceived
differently by everyone. To me, education focuses on the mind. But more
specifically, factors and characteristics that shape one s mind. To be educated means
one should have the ability to think critically, show respect, and have a level head
while obtaining some overall knowledge. One shouldn t claim themselves as
educated based off their grades, what type of schoolthey attend, or simply just the
accumulated knowledge they obtain. Being educated involves the characteristics one
obtains and how one uses those characteristics in the real world. One definite,
exemplary aspect of educationis one s ability to think critically. To think critically, one
must make reasoned judgements that are logical and well thought out. If one is a
critical thinker, they will contemplate the reasons for and against doing something
before making impulse decisions. By doing this, one makes decisions based on fair
assessment, not the basis of their emotions and immediate thought. By exercising this
in one s everyday life, it shows more education... Show more content on

The misconception that occurs between education and knowledge isn t rare. Many
say that knowledge is knowing many things, but education is understanding many
things. One can simply memorize the material, know it, and then receive a one
hundred on a test. Whereas an educated person will learn the material to where they
understand it and can use what they learned in everyday life. By learning the material
and understanding it, that material will be carried on throughout one s life. This is
because when one understands something instead of memorizing it, they will have a
long term memory of that
Essay On Problems In America
It can be depressing thinking about all of the problems in the world. I can list a
large number of problems that need to be fixed, and there are certainly even more
issues to which I am not privy. It is difficult to rank problems by their importance
and declare that solving world hunger is more important than reversing the effects
of global warming, or vice versa. That being said, I believe that the world s most
pressing problem is the inequality and discrimination rooted deep within the
foundation of our society. The United States dubs itself the land of the free, and
this may be true. However, free does not mean equal. If one is a straight, white, and
male, the United States is a great place to live. Lose one or more of those
characteristics, though, and suddenly one is playing on the high difficulty version
of life as opposed to the easy version. In the past 200 years the United States has
certainly made progress. The slaves were freed, white women gained the right to
vote, and then all races and genders were given the right to vote. This does not mean
that everyone walked home happily arm in arm afterward celebrating the equality

This issue is not solely one of race, though. Transgender women have a one in

Entanglement and Quantum Mechanics
Entanglement is one of the most fundamental and yet unintuitive concepts in
quantum mechanics. Maximally entangled two qubit states, often called Bell states,
where shown to violate classical (local) correlation properties [33, 34] and are an
essential building block for quantum communication and distributed quantum
computation. Unfortunately, such entangled states are also difficult to generate and
sustain as interaction with a noisy environment typically leads to rapid loss of their
unique quantum properties. In the context of QSC, such an entanglement has been
generated exploring various types of interactions such as direct qubit qubit interaction
[35, 36], coupling to a common cavity mode [37] or photon mediated interactions for
qubits embedded in a waveguide [38].
In this context, remote entanglement of spatially separated quantum systems have
important im plications in addressing the scaling problem for quantum information
processing. Indeed, as a solution to this scaling issue, we propose here to follow a
modular approach where the quantum information is encoded, protected and locally
manipulated in small units consisting of a few cavity modes or/and few qubits and
the communication between modules is ensured through quantum teleportation
techniques. Sharing of a pair of entangled subsystems between two modules is central
for these teleportation pro tocols. While the isolation of the modules simplifies the
scaling by avoiding any undesired cross talk between the
Ans Nervous System Essay
The Structure function of the
Autonomic Nervous System
Introduction:
The organs of our body are controlled by many systems in order to function correctly
and efficiently in order to survive within the environment we live in. These include
the heart, stomach and intestines and other vital organs and body systems. All of the
systems in our body are regulated by a part of the nervous system called the
autonomic nervous system (ANS). The ANS is part of the peripheral nervous
system and it controls many organs and muscles within the body. Rather bizarrely we
are unable to determine or feel its presence in our bodies as it is working involuntary,
as a reflexive manner. A common example of this involuntary action is best

The preganglionic fibre from the medulla or spinal cord projects to ganglia very close
to the target organ and makes a synapse. This synapse uses the neurotransmitter called
acetylcholine. From this ganglion, the postganglionic neuron projects to the target
organ and uses acetylcholine again at its terminal.
Figure. 1: Autonomic nervous system
Para sympathetic and sympathetic differences:
The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system generally have opposing
effects on organs they supply, and this enables the body to make rapid and precise
adjustments of involuntary activities in order to maintain a steady state. An example
is an increase in heart rate due to the release of noradrenalin by sympathetic
neurones, this is then compensated for by, the release of acetylcholine by
parasympathetic neurones. This prevents heart rate from increasing beyond its
working capabilities and allows it to reduce and settle back to its resting state.
The effects of sympathetic and parasympathetic stimulation are tabulated below in
figure. 2. Notice that the effects are generally in opposition to each other, in relation
to each organ affected by a particular reflex.

Stolen Art of the Holocaust
While death was the major tragedy of the Holocaust, all of the art stolen was
definitely a dark spot. Most people don t realize, but the art was taken from all
Jews and many others by the Nazis. Some pieces of art have been found, but most
still remain lost. Many that have been discovered are in museums and are not given
to the true owners. There should be efforts spent on finding and recovering the art
stolen by the Nazis to return it to their rightful owners. Hitler would have his soldiers
take the art from the homes where the Jewslived when they took them away.
Sometimes, if he wanted a specific work of art, he would have his people steal it
or take it and kill the people who owned it. He would have his men steal all of the
art and other artifacts from the homes of every person they took to the
concentration camps, as well as those they simply killed in their homes. Taking the
art was his way of taking everything from them, and a way that he could show his
superiority over them. He took it because it was something they had that he wanted.
Very few works of art taken by Hitler have been found, and many that are discovered
reside in museums. Some have been discovered in museums or galleries in Austria,
while thousands still remain lost. Recently, a long lost Monet and other art treasures
stolen from Jews during the Holocaust have been discovered in the home of an 81
year old German art collector, Julian states (Julian). Cornelius Gurlitt, the art

Assess the Factors Which Led to the Creation of Itv Essay
Assess the factors which led to the creation of ITV in 1954
Commercial Television has been playing big role in our lives for about 60 years
already, whether it is the Morning News, Downton Abbey or The Britain s Got Talent
show (Johnson, Turnock, 2005: 1). Commercial television is entertaining, educating
and informative and tries to fulfil viewer s wishes of what they want to watch. British
audience has been able to choose what they watch since 1954, when government
published the Act of Televisionwhich allowed the creation of the first independent
television in the United Kingdom. The creation of ITV broke the BBC s monopoly

Also, many senior positions in the BBC were still suspicious of the new medium
of television (Turnock, 2007:21). Lord Reith summed up the general attitude of
BBC s management to television when he told that television will be of no
importance in your lifetime or mine (Williams, 2010:144). General opinion in the
BBC was that television would not become as successful as radio. As well as BBC
management, government did not find television being as important as radio. On
the contrary to the BBC s management, there were people who saw future in
commercial television. One of those people was Norman Collins who became a
director general of Independent Television who left the BBC and started to campaign
commercial television (Crisell, 1997: 78). BBC s broadcasting developing slowly
because of the shortage of technical knowledge which gave a reason for government
to legitimize commercial television which would also give jobs many advertisers and
television people. Commercial television campaign was also able to persuade the
government that competition would make television better as companies had to give
their best to make the viewer to watch their channel.
Another reason which made commercial lobby successful, was the circumstance that
important members of government including the Prime Minister, Churchill, were not
prepared to defend the BBC (Curran, Seaton, 2010:154). After a change in power in
late 1951, the conservative party decided to publish its ideas for

In honor of Bethesda, I am going to review their latest game, The Elder Scrolls V:
Skyrim. I have mentioned in my review of Fallout 3; I have played a little bit of The
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion so I have little knowledge of the franchise s lore. Rather
than my other two reviews, I will not elaborate too much for some of the game
mechanics are like Fallout as well as everyone on the planet has heard about this
game.
This game is the next chapter of the Elder Scrolls saga arrives once again from the
Bethesda Game Studios, taking place after Oblivion. Skyrim imagines the open
world fantasy epic, bringing to life a complete virtual world open for you to explore
any way you choose. Play as any type of character you can imagine in the fantasy ...

Although this game is able to be beat within four with my friend and we were not
even masters at speed runs. Even though this game is a great must own classic for
the 7th generation of consoles, this game has loads of bugs and glitches. Once in
awhile if you encounter a glitch it can even speed up the story. In fact, there is this
one point in the game where if you hold onto a plate and walk into a wall you fall
through the floor and skip about ten minutes. There are a lot of points in the game
where you can just skip hours of game time with abusing the glitches. Like in
Fallout 3 I got power armor and was able to use it on level eight because I walked
through a boulder and encountered this random guy. This has always been a
problem with all Bethesda games, the have grand open worlds, but have some
many bugs and glitches in these worlds. Skyrim, however has the most enjoyable
glitches and is definitely a time consuming game, you could spend hours, days,
weeks or even months on completing this game. One big factor to getting this
game or not is how important story is to you since like Fallout 3, the story is not
always present and usually you have to look around the world to get a grasp on it.
The real factor is if you like medieval themes since that is what sets this game apart
the most from the Fallout series. No matter what I say though, is going to ruin this
game since it able to overcome all issues of Skyrim. (Nitpick
Polo Ralph Lauren Research Paper
Following my research and analysis of each of the sources I collect, I gained that the
price of luxury cannot be overemphasized. As I mentioned previously, the goal of my
research was to determine if Polo Ralph Lauren has made effective efforts to
ameliorate the abuse of their sweatshop workers in destitute factories. Although this
inquiry remains of significant concern to me, it is naive notion to a certain extent
because I have found that the company intentionally ignores the issue. Throughout
my research I have learned that the welfare of their sweatshop workers is of no
concern to the autarchs of the illustrious Polo Ralph Lauren. The execrable acts of
exploitation throughout their associated sweatshops coupled with the loyalty of

Project Management And The Major Areas Of Projects
Management
Before we discuss about the Project Management and the major areas of project
management, let see actually what is a project? A project is defined as a
temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result
(Schwalbe, 2014). Projects involve different operations like the project is
terminated when the scope and objective of the project are met. According to an IT
project or any kind of project it involves number of persons or a team or an
individual in order to complete the mission. A project can be of different types for
example developing a mobile application, implementing a new system,
implementation of database for some institution purpose and so on. For
implementing or designing a project it involves various technologies like cloud
computing, internet and many more the usage of technologies depends upon the
specifications of an organization. According to the prescribed text book, we have
some attributes which are utilized for defining a project. Let us have a brief look
about these attributes: Each and every project which is being implemented in the
current world is unique and has an inimitable purpose. The projects which are done
by the organizations have a distinct objective. Every project has a deadline it does
not keep on going without an end. A project usually takes a month or half a year or a
year to complete but not more than that. A project involves modifications,
upgradation in middle of the flow of the project. Once of the

In order to create the element necessary to life like Carbon, Oxygen and nitrogen
from Helium and Hydrogen you need the heat and energy from the big bang, the
only problem was that their was only one big bang. This question stumped scientists
for a long time until they learned about supernovas. They learned that in the center of
a supernova there is similar condition to the big bang. This heat allowed protons,
neutrons, and electrons to bond in ways never seen before the first supernova
forming heavier elements that are so vital to life.

History, Development, and Societal Impact of the Internet
AO2 Drivers for continued development
Technological
Advances in technology have encouraged progression of the internet and have
sometime been a drive of development. The advert of broadband has allowed
communications to be faster, which has facilitated the transfer of larger file such as
sound and video. This ability marked the beginning of the modern era of sites such as
YouTube and iTunes. When looking at the technical side, the internetis developing
rapidly. The reason for this would be that the technology today. Such as windows 8,
this has appeared on msn advertisements, which shows us a sneak peak of what is
different about it from the previous windows 7. Because the internet has new ideas

Therefore, the internet has a long way to go before meeting the standards. Many
years ago, the political process was not used within the internet. It has been said
that the General Election would become a success if the internet could hold the
answer to solve its problems. However, this does have its disadvantage because the
internet could maybe cause political standards to collapse. Also to the point that
Stuart MacLennan was fired from being a Labour Candidate because of unpleasant
posts, he made on social network site Twitter. However, it had been said that these
sort of problems needed to be dealt with when it comes to the web, because they can
come back to bite you .
Due to the internet growing and increasing more and more by the minute, those
political organizations have tried to deal with it by getting people online to listen;
this is because of the changes that are happening within different communication over
the internet. Even through social network sites like twitter, Facebook had helped
Barack Obama to gain more assistance and supporting with financial support to
becoming president of United States of America in terms of getting more votes.
However, is a disadvantage because when it came to Labour Mr MacLennan s
remarks over the network site Twitter and that this had been the case that had been
explained by well acknowledged people that things within the internet could be easily
retrieved once deleted. In addition, those users should think many times
Technology And Religion
Technology surrounds our daily lives, so much so we have grown numb to the
idea of ever not having access to it. However, people have become more aware of
the use of technology and in some cases have tried eliminating it from their lives as
a whole. This method seems flawless at first, but technology has become so
integrated into our communities that by disconnecting from technology, we also
disconnect from our community. This integration has even been made in the
church, which has allowed access to services that were not ever possible before. By
allowing the church and its members to modernize, we allow its members to grow in
numbers, and for their members to have access to ways in which to grow in their
faith anywhere they go. So for those... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When dealing with technology in the church, we must realize that it is not always
bad, and by integrating it into our services and daily lives is okay. We must become
open to this technological world, and allow it access to make our lives easier. It
allows for spiritual growth both inside and outside of the church. The simplicity of
this allows others to want to join the church which is needed. So for those reasons, we
should allow our community to integrate technology inside and outside of church

  • 1. Title Pages For Essays Writing an essay on the seemingly straightforward topic of "Title Pages for Essays" may appear deceptively simple at first glance. After all, a title page is just the introductory element of an essay, right? However, delving into the intricacies of creating an effective title page reveals a complexity that is not immediately apparent. Firstly, one needs to consider the specific formatting requirements dictated by the chosen citation style – whether it be APA, MLA, Chicago, or another. Each style has its own set of rules regarding font size, spacing, alignment, and the placement of various elements on the title page. Navigating these intricacies can be a challenging task, requiring meticulous attention to detail. Furthermore, the title page is not merely a mechanical component but an integral part of the essay's presentation. Crafting a compelling and concise title that captures the essence of the essay is an art in itself. It involves striking a delicate balance between creativity and informativeness, ensuring that the title both piques the reader's interest and accurately reflects the content. Beyond the title, one must also address other elements on the title page, such as the author's name, institutional affiliation, and date of submission. Each of these elements comes with its own set of guidelines, adding another layer of complexity to the essay-writing process. Moreover, as seemingly mundane as it may sound, the title page sets the tone for the entire essay. It serves as the reader's first impression and can influence their expectations and perceptions. Achieving the right balance of professionalism and creativity on the title page is a subtle yet crucial aspect that should not be underestimated. In conclusion, while the topic of "Title Pages for Essays" might seem straightforward, the process of writing an essay on this subject reveals the nuanced challenges and considerations involved. It demands a keen understanding of formatting rules, a creative flair for title creation, and an awareness of the title page's role in shaping the reader's perception. • 2. Rebirth in Sylvia Plath s Lady Lazarus, Fever 103,... Rebirth in Lady Lazarus, Fever 103, Getting There, and Cut The Ariel period poems of Sylvia Plath demonstrate her desire for rebirth, to escape the body that was drummed into use by men and society. I will illustrate the different types of rebirth with examples from the Ariel poems, including Lady Lazarus, Fever 103, Getting There, and Cut. Lady Lazarus, the last of the October poems, presents Plath as the victim with her aggression turned towards her male victimizer (33). Lady Lazarus arises from Herr Doktor s ovens as a new being, her own incarnation, the victim taking on the powers of the victimizers and drumming herself into uses that are her own (33). Linda Bundtzen also sees the poem as an allegory ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During the multiple orgasms of Fever 103, the delirious woman sublimates a body sick with desire into an acetylene virgin flame and thereby rids herself of any need for men to complete herself sexually; Thus, Plath freed herself from male dependency (Bundtzen 236). Two Ariel poems Cut and Getting There do not exhibit a full rebirthbut rather exploit the female body s victimization to mover towards new self perceptions (Bundtzen 247). In both poems the female body remains passive, acted upon by the mind s transforming powers (Bundtzen 247). In Cut the amputation of the thumb is a symbol of female castration; she became a dirty girl, unable to be a pure female any longer. Plath understands her self amputation as an acting out of her self hatred as a woman, she is deficient by virtue of her female wound (Bundtzen 247 248). The speaker is cut while doing her duty and she unconsciously tries to stop it by cutting off her finger. In Getting There, the speaker is a Jew in a box car on her way to a concentration camp. She identifies with all the wounded and dead: The tent of unending cries (Plath 248). What gives the speaker this solemn sympathy with the casualties of war is her female body. She knows these atrocities as a part of her very being, her genesis (Bundtzen 249): There is mud on my feet Thick, red and slipping. It is Adam s side, This earth I rise from, and

Joe attracts Janie with his ambition and charisma. Unfortunately, Janie learns that Joe is controlling, feels the need to be superior to everyone, and has an overwhelming jealously over Janie. Joe uses Janie to support his position as mayor with her overwhelming beauty in town and gives Janie very little freedom to do what she pleases. One day, Joe was ridiculing Janie of her age (even though she s only in her late 30 s) because he was unable to do the request of a customer and Janie was able to. Angered by this, Janie snaps back at Joe and walks away. Joe follows after her a slaps her across the face. As Joe is dying, Janie speaks out

Fruit Mold Lab Report Fruit Molds Brenna Rivera November 29, 2016 Anaruth Alfaro Abstract In this lab we looked at the mold on three different fruits in three different environments to asses which fruit would have the most mold and in which environment the mold would be present the most. For the experiment we used fruits that were in season so that we could also compare organic and non organic fruit. Because of this my group chose tomatoes, peaches and apples. We hypothesized that peaches would rot the most out of each of the fruits and that the peaches would rot the most in our warmest environment, the incubator. The fruits were then observed over a period of weeks. At the end of this period of time the peaches had rotted the most and burst and the peaches in the incubator were the first to go. Introduction After learning about different types of mold in lab as well as in lecture, my group and I were interested in studying mold more. • 17. The Death Of Juliet s Deaths For Romeo And Juliet Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, was originally published in 1597. Until this day, the play is very well known worldwide. The classic love story is set in Verona and is about a long feud between the Montague and Capulet families. This feud causes the death of their beloved children, Romeo and Juliet, who are described as star crossed lovers. It is a play of contrasts of love and hate, joy and sorrow, light and dark, youth and age, life and death. Some readers will blame the main characters, Romeo and Juliet for bringing about their tragic deaths, however some may argue that other characters are responsible for their deaths, with only little of the blame to be placed on Romeo and Juliet. Firstly, one character who is undeniably responsible for Romeo and Juliet s death is Friar Laurence. There are three primary reasons he is accountable for Romeo and Juliet s death. The first reason is that he gave the poison to Juliet. In the last few scenes of Act Three, we find out that Juliet will have to marry Paris and because she does not want to, she seeks Friar Laurence for advice. Juliet s feels that her only solution is to kill herself, but Friar Laurence advises her there is another way out; drinking the potion that will stop her pulse and breathing, making her seem like she is dead for forty two hours: When presently through all thy veins shall run / A cold and drowsy humour, for no pulse / No warmth, no breath, shall testify thou livest, / The roses in thy

A public policy is an activity that has a good combination between politics and administrative activities. The major goal of public administration are established and introduced to political actors. So, a public policy sets the goals for public administration. The state policy chooses the direction, in which the state develops. Interests of the state determine the direction of its development. An experienced politician should always be a cautious man who knows what will be important for people tomorrow and after five or ten years. This quality will allow him or her to motivate people and to develop the country in needed sectors. In order to avoid a political crisis, the government should not only clearly determine a list of priorities for people, but also represent their current and long term interests. This argument proves that in order to accept the factual, former claim that the universe exists, it is necessary to accept the latter claim that God exists as well. Anselm s motto, Faith Seeking Understanding, has to do with the search for a deeper knowledge of God and asserts the idea that faith in Him comes before understanding God in His entirety. Anselm claims that we don t have to understand God in order to have faith or belief in Him. Rather, Anselm says that in order to understand God, we should first develop that faith and belief, which ultimately allows us to comprehend God. Henotheism ... As a result, Aquinas saw philosophy as a subset of theology because theology deals with both reason and revelation to obtain knowledge, while theology only uses reason. In a similar light, Aquinas also believed that all theologians are philosophers, but he did not see all philosophers as theologians. Consequently, Aquinas saw theology as superior to philosophy because of theology s unlimited potential and means of acquiring truths/knowledge; in other words, theology encompasses subjects that reason, or philosophical studies, cannot
  • 27. Descriptive Essay On Being A Waitress It s always nice to go out to eat, order a nice meal that you do not have to cook and be served everything you want. When going out to eat, have you ever thought about the person that is serving you food, getting you drinks, and making sure you have a pleasant experience at the restaurant of your choice? That person is a server. He or she is a waiter or waitress. I ve gone out to eat a lot, and I ve always been a little curious what is like to be the person serving the food and not eatingit. I chose to research this subculture because I was so curious about it. I have some friends that wait tables, but I hadn t really thought about how being a waitress involves so many things aside from serving food. Waitressing is more about handling all different types of people, and learning to multitask successfully than just serving food. When I go out to eat, I usually only notice if the waitress or waiter is nice to me and my party. I make sure that all of the food and drinks come out the way we ordered them, and I also pay attention to how the food tastes. When I started my research and observation for this ethnography, I started to pay more attention the server when I was eating at restaurants. I started to notice how many tables the server waited on, I noticed how many times he or she had to take food back to the kitchen because someone thought it was wrong or not cooked right, and I also noticed how unhappy he or she was when they left a certain table. Conflict Resolution At General Hospital Essay Conflict Resolution at General Hospital Key Issues This week s case encompasses a nonprofit community hospital (General Hospital) that has been subjected to competitive forces that have hindered profit margins by directly affecting the patient occupancy by over 25%. In response to the diminishing returns, Mike Hammer, General Hospital s CEO, decided to curtail spending and increase costs by implementing physician controlled costs. The following key issues have been attributed to Hammer s leadership and direction given to Marge Harding, the newly appointed chief operating officer (COO) (Hellriegel Slocum, 2011): 1.Hammer has exhibited unfavorable interpersonal conflict handling and poor emotional intelligence by not attempting to understand Dr. Mark Williams , the director of medicine, point of view, hindering potential compromise or the creation of a win win solution to the revenue issue. 2.The direction Hammer gives to Marge Harding perpetuates a forcing style of conflict handling, which disregards employee considerations. 3.Harding did not discuss internal concerns prior to her decision to terminate Dr. James Boyer and elected to seek advice outside of the organization by contacting Joel Cohen. This may have attributed to a solution that did not consider organizational concerns particular to General Hospital, making it hard to perceive the potential consequences of terminating Dr. James Boyer. 4.Hammer s disconnection from the decision making process allowed

Placement in a physical store increases a title s visibility, attracting more customers. Amazon is unable to offer this benefit. By opening its own stores, Amazon can promote titles published by CreateSpace and generate revenue for its authors, thereby attracting bigger name authors to their platforms (Elgan, 2016). But, who decides if you re properly educated, and where does this education come from? What it means to be educated is perceived differently by everyone. To me, education focuses on the mind. But more specifically, factors and characteristics that shape one s mind. To be educated means one should have the ability to think critically, show respect, and have a level head while obtaining some overall knowledge. One shouldn t claim themselves as educated based off their grades, what type of schoolthey attend, or simply just the accumulated knowledge they obtain. Being educated involves the characteristics one obtains and how one uses those characteristics in the real world. One definite, exemplary aspect of educationis one s ability to think critically. To think critically, one must make reasoned judgements that are logical and well thought out. If one is a critical thinker, they will contemplate the reasons for and against doing something before making impulse decisions. • 33. Entanglement and Quantum Mechanics Entanglement is one of the most fundamental and yet unintuitive concepts in quantum mechanics. Maximally entangled two qubit states, often called Bell states, where shown to violate classical (local) correlation properties [33, 34] and are an essential building block for quantum communication and distributed quantum computation. Unfortunately, such entangled states are also difficult to generate and sustain as interaction with a noisy environment typically leads to rapid loss of their unique quantum properties. In the context of QSC, such an entanglement has been generated exploring various types of interactions such as direct qubit qubit interaction [35, 36], coupling to a common cavity mode [37] or photon mediated interactions for qubits embedded in a waveguide [38]. In this context, remote entanglement of spatially separated quantum systems have important im plications in addressing the scaling problem for quantum information processing. Indeed, as a solution to this scaling issue, we propose here to follow a modular approach where the quantum information is encoded, protected and locally manipulated in small units consisting of a few cavity modes or/and few qubits and the communication between modules is ensured through quantum teleportation techniques. Sharing of a pair of entangled subsystems between two modules is central for these teleportation pro tocols. While the isolation of the modules simplifies the scaling by avoiding any undesired cross talk between the

All of the systems in our body are regulated by a part of the nervous system called the autonomic nervous system (ANS). An example is an increase in heart rate due to the release of noradrenalin by sympathetic neurones, this is then compensated for by, the release of acetylcholine by parasympathetic neurones. This prevents heart rate from increasing beyond its working capabilities and allows it to reduce and settle back to its resting state. There should be efforts spent on finding and recovering the art stolen by the Nazis to return it to their rightful owners. Hitler would have his soldiers take the art from the homes where the Jewslived when they took them away. General opinion in the BBC was that television would not become as successful as radio. As well as BBC management, government did not find television being as important as radio. On the contrary to the BBC s management, there were people who saw future in commercial television. One of those people was Norman Collins who became a director general of Independent Television who left the BBC and started to campaign commercial television (Crisell, 1997: 78). BBC s broadcasting developing slowly because of the shortage of technical knowledge which gave a reason for government to legitimize commercial television which would also give jobs many advertisers and television people. Commercial television campaign was also able to persuade the government that competition would make television better as companies had to give their best to make the viewer to watch their channel. Another reason which made commercial lobby successful, was the circumstance that important members of government including the Prime Minister, Churchill, were not prepared to defend the BBC (Curran, Seaton, 2010:154).
