Culture was and always going to be alive, it never dies. However, today is different, culture is
spreading rapidly, and it became vital to acknowledge at least the basics of each culture. Due to
multiplicity of cultures within societies, not any leader could lead a group of followers, but only
prototype leaders who are needed to lead diverse organizations nowadays. Leadership becomes
difficult; it requires awareness of one s culture and skills to navigate within several cultures.
Immigrants migrates every day to a new country, marketing is becoming internationally advertised,
technology, media, all of these aspects changed the way life used to be seen. Today, it is
unprofessional for leaders to not acknowledge a little background of their followers, or at least to be
aware of what is their basic values. Therefore, for leaders to be successful in maintaining a good
relation with their followers in today s diverse society and in reaching success for their companies, I
believe that they must be characterized by five major qualities. Farsighted, collaborative, inspirational,
humble and respectful are the prototype qualities whom leaders must be portrayed as in a diverse
society.
Surely one of the common goals between leaders is success. And success cannot be reached in the

seeks to find an appropriate version of friendship. Aelred explains, Now the spiritual, which we call
true friendship, is desired not with an eye to any worldly profit or for any extraneous reason, but for its
own natural worth and for the emotion of the human heart, so that its fruit and reward is nothing but
itself (Aelred, 64). In this passage, Aelred explains how spiritual friendship is the purest and only
acceptable form of friendship for monastic culture. He describes that friendship should be for no other

When introducing this concept, Aelred seeks to provide a new type of friendship, for monks, that is

Will a dog park be a postive addition to Muscatine, or will it be a negative addition? This is the
question currently being asked. Both sides of the party make a very good argument. From it being a
postive way for dogs to let out their energy and socialize, to it being a negative disruption for tax

On April 22, 23, 29, and 30th, Highland Highschool Drama Club presented Witness for the
Prosecution by Agatha Christie. On all four days at Highland Highschool I saw, and was part of, the
play. In a combination of the set, props, acting, and story, the production was a terrific success.
The affable Leonard Vole is being tried for the murder of a wealthy woman, and a famous lawyer Sir
Wilfrid Robarts the main character has chosen to represent him. Unfortunately, Wilfred is given false
proof by Leonard s wife, Christine Vole, who had appeared in court against him previously, and
proved Leonard innocent. To Sir Wilfred s surprise, Christine confesses to setting it all up to save
Leonard, who in fact was guilty. Eventually, Christine kills her husband for leaving her after all she
