Kalijiri is a plant that grows throughout India, especially in the Himalayas up to 1650 meters. It obtains its properties from the fruits and seeds of the Centratherum Anthelminticum plant. Kalijiri has many medicinal uses such as treating intestinal worms, skin diseases, reducing blood sugar and blood pressure, and helping with weight loss. It also has diuretic, antioxidant, and astringent properties that can help with conditions like diarrhea, ulcers, asthma, coughs, and kidney troubles.

• Size: 4.5-6mm long
• Shape: oblong shape, pointed from one side
& hairy tapered from other end

rates& flavonoids.
• vernolic acid 70.28%, followed by linolic
15.84%, oleic 5.65%& palmitic 2.30%&
Stearic acid 0.42%.
