The survey found that the respondent's target audience of 16-20 year olds prefer conceptual music videos over narrative ones and enjoy indie pop music. Most respondents said the most profitable way to sell a music album would be to make it available on iTunes to reach the largest audience.

Max Boyle conducted a survey to determine the target audience for his music video. Based on the results of the 17 people surveyed, the majority were between 16-21 years old and were students or part-time working students. Most listened to rock or indie music. The survey also showed that the target audience prefers to watch music videos on YouTube and would most like a narrative/concept hybrid style of video. With this information, Max can focus his music video on the 16-21 year old demographic and share it primarily on YouTube.

2. The target audience is heterosexual males ages 19-39 from middle-class backgrounds, as historians are typically middle-aged males from higher income families.
3. The show will contain mentions of death and gunshots so a content warning will be given. It will be restricted to those 15+ to avoid distressing younger audiences. Survey data analysis
The survey data provides information about the target audience for a music video product. Three-quarters of respondents were between ages 16-19, indicating this age group should be the target. Nearly 60% of respondents watch music videos regularly. Responses regarding music video types showed interest in performance videos and videos with narrative, concept, and performance elements. Almost half of respondents watch music videos on computers/laptops most often. For the chosen song "Midnight City" by M83, a little under two-thirds had not heard it before.
Question 4
The target audience for the indie music magazine would be people ages 16-25. This age group is more likely to be interested in and knowledgeable about indie music and the music industry. They are also more likely to be able to attend concerts and afford the £1.99 price of the magazine. While the magazine could appeal to a wide age range that enjoys indie music, those 16-25 are most likely to regularly consume new music-related information from a physical magazine rather than just online.
Questionnaire Results

Individual male and female target profiles were also created to understand their specific interests to appeal to them. The key reasons identified that this audience would choose the magazine are for entertainment, gig information, discovering new music, fashion inspiration, and if their favorite artists are featured.
