2. History
“Jati Inn" is a hotel in the campus environment. It is
under the operation of LPL unit. “Jati Inn" has
complete facilities for accommodation for the
participants as well as for tenants who are keen to
stay at Jati Inn. Every hotel is different, and that
means no two hotel security service plans are the
same. While some hotels will expect officers to
assist guests and staff with a variety of issues and
tasks, other may simply require regular nighttime
patrols. At Jati Inn Security Department, we're
happy to accommodate your specific needs.
Hotel security officers duties may include but are
not limited to general security, emergency
preparedness and so on.

6. SECURITY EXECUTIVE
• A Security Executive is in charge of a hospitality
property’s security. He/she oversees the Security
Department and a number of security systems which
protect the guests, the workers and the hotel
buildings.
The job description and responsibilities are as follows :
• Safety and security of guests, workers and hotel
buildings
• Crime prevention and investigation
• Security systems including security
patrols, surveillance systems, door locking
mechanisms, control of restricted areas, monitoring
of master keys, etc.
• Initiating or maintaining policies and procedures for
general safety and security
7. • Training of staff for emergency procedures
• Inspections relating to hotel security
• Regular security meetings
• Supervising the security team effectively (eg. checking that
security staff do their jobs properly)
• Maintaining good working relationships with management and
members of other departments
• Keeping up-to-date with world news and hospitality security
trends
as well as plenty of other duties.
8. SECURITY SUPERVISOR
• A Security Supervisor is the Deputy of a Security
executive of a Security Unit of hotel. He/she
oversees the effective management of the daily
routine under the guidance and leadership of the
Security executive.
Job description and responsibilities are as follows:
• To assist the Security Officer in ensuring the safety
and security of human beings, valuable
materials, and classified documents pertaining to
the premises.
• To efficiently supervise and manage the Security
Personnel during his tenure.
• To train the Security Personnel in all security drills
and security procedures laid down in the Standing
Orders.
• To act as Liaison between the Security Unit and
Administration Manager in the absence of the
Security Officer.
9. • Maintain Liaison with local Police Station, Fire Station and nearest
Hospital.
• To deploy Security Guards during his Shift.
• To make periodic ‘Rounds’ of Sentry Posts to check alertness and
compliance of Standing Orders.
• To periodically inspect serviceability of fire fighting equipment and Fire
Tenders.
• Inspect the log of entry and exit of personnel, materials, vehicles and
stores at the commencement of his duty and at the end of his duty.
• Be totally accountable for all eventualities during his Shift.
10. SECURITY PERSONNEL
