Selection of security agency and making terms and conditions.  Signing of contract with security agency.  Carrying out periodic security audit.  Checking bio data and police verification of security men.

SECURITY DEPLOYMENT  A three tier system of deployment is followed . DEPLOYMENT AT THE ENTRANCE & EXIT GATES TO  HOSPITAL  AT THE ENTRANCE & EXIST TO THE BUILDING  AT SENSITIVE POINTS LIKE (OPD, EMERG & FEMALE PAEDIATRIC WARDS,  ADMN AREA)  PARKING Over and above this three tier system of deployment, central control room.  There should be an area incharge and one  patrolling  team.  The area in charge to deploy security man in his area.  Petrolling team to make surprise petrol to check alertness of security area.

ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM   The entire security network is connected to computer through a server.  The security personnel sitting at surveillance centre can monitor activities in various areas of the hospital.  The system has a recording provision, where activities are constantly  recorded and can be viewed as and when required.  People working in surveillance room are well trained and familiar with functioning of the computers in the system.  The system has automatic alarm system, initiated of there is a breech in  security or intruder trying to fiddle with the system.  There should be SOP to run the system.  Electronic engineers are responsible of maintenance of system.  It has a viral protection system to preserve data and not destroyed. The system functions round the clock and continuously record data .
