Enterprise Project Manager
• Planning and development for a corporate wide document management system with a budget of
over $700K. Executed business, financial, and implementation planning using corporate
standards. 2010
• Migration of all GM business units document configuration management systems to a common
system (Documentum) for GM globally. This included coordination with a corporate System
Factory Management Council, Systems Development coordinators in the business units, and the
Documentum development team. The project was completed successfully and on schedule.2009
• Deployment of an iRise Server for GM globally. Executed using a standard corporate
development process (SDP R10). Worked with corporate business units, an outsourced vendor,
and a corporate Systems Factory team. The project received special recognition by the

Enterprise Tools Manager
• Managed all enterprise tools (12) globally for GM. Performed weekly technical reviews of all
changes that went through a GM Enterprise Tools Change Authorization Board. Technical review
of Cold Fusion, Excel Macros, Java, and ,Net code. Over 50 successful reviews passed Change
Authorization. 2008 - 2010
• Developed an enterprise tools review and approval process as well as a SharePoint system for

System Development Process (SDP) Web Site Transition Architech
• Architected the migration of a major web site (SDP) used by all corporate Project Managers to
implement a system development process. Re-architehed site to enable interface to a external
SharePoint system where site assets were managed and stored. Also re-architected the site itself
for improved performance and matainability. The project received special recognition by the GM
corporate Systems Factory Management Council for customer satisfaction. 2008.

Electronic Data Systems General Motors Account January 1985 – January 2007
Configuration Management (CM) Technical Architect
• Borland StarTeam configuration management architect for a large legacy modernization project
for an Order fulfillment system. In this position I worked with technical and management leaders
in India, Spain, and Canada to organize their StarTeam Project, create view structures, and set
up user access according to a CMMI Level 5 assessed Global Application Delivery standards.
Developed targeted training materials and gave training classes to over 80 developers in multiple
countries (2007).
• Borland StarTeam Migration Coordinator for OnStar (over 200 developers). Developed
implementation methods and tools primarily for the Borland StarTeam system as well as other
Borland tools (Together Architect, CaliberRM, OptimizeIT). Developed an implementation plan for
Borland CaliberRM requirements management tool. I was instrumental in the migration of several
major applications from the CA AllFusion Harvest configuration management system, many
projects from the Merant PVCS Dimensions system, and the setup of a complex Application
Umbrella Project in Borland StarTeam (2005).
• Configuration Management Technical Architect for the EDS Global Interactive Solutions (GIS)
team working with over 160 developers. I successfully implemented a distributed configuration
management system (CA AllFusion Harvest) to support several major global enterprise Web sites
for a real-time car information system for consumers and other major corporate Web based
initiatives. I also supported several major sales pursuits supplying Content/Configuration
Management expertise (2001).
CM Administration
• CA AllFusion Harvest administrator for the Global Insight Tools organization in support of a large
financial account in the areas of configuration management and remote database access.
Worked with the Bank management, programming staff and over 50 developers to support their
parallel development activities using the CA AllFusion Harvest system as well as CA’s mainframe
configuration management tool, Endevor (2005).
• Application Deployment Developer of ANT scripts for deployment of J2EE applications including
Vehicle Identification and Tracking, Brazil On-Line Ordering, Vehicle Locator, and Parts
manufacturer. Worked closely with senior developers to standardize ANT script development.
Also trained several developers on how to develop ANT/J2EE Scripts (2002).
Application Launch Center Manager
• Technical Manager for a large corporate Application Launch Center. This research and
development activity communicated the technical direction for client/server and Web development
for major IT projects. I also managed a development facility that included PC clients, a Novell
network, UNIX, and NT servers (Oracle Database, Netscape Application Server, and MS Internet
Information Server). I also did extensive research into Distributed Database Access technology
including data replication, multi-tier client/server architectures and distributed applications (1999).

Other Activities
• Supported the EDS 2006 global IT renewal and re-compete sales pursuit of General Motors 3rd
generation IT provider contract and the US Business Support/Client Development group by working
closely with over 30 tool vendors to determine application configurations and pricing (2005).
• Applications Coordinator for the EDS/GM Engineering Business Systems organization (over 200
developers). In this role I was responsible for overseeing the certification of major IT systems for the
Consistent Office Environment (COe) and the GM Infrastructure Requirements Compliance Process
(IRCP) (1997).
Early EDS/GM Work Experience (1985 – 1996)
• Project Coordinator for the rollout of the UNIX version of GM’s primary automotive design system,
the Corporate Graphics System (CGS). Coordinated several EDS technical teams, interfaced with
GM Beta test personnel, and developed marketing materials introducing the product to GM and
their suppliers.
• Technical Marketing Director. Developed and delivered over 75 technical presentations to
GM and EDS top management, divisional representatives, and outside corporations.
