Staff Logistics Specialist (2009 – Present)
    Managed progress and continuation of DoD next-generation technology programs from $1 - 200-million.

    •   Coordinated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for nearly 300 fielded systems.
    •   Introduced Six Sigma DMAIC process into Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support including MTBF and

        of Consumer Reports’ methodology behind ratings and reviews of the Ford Escape and its competition.

        Repairs per Thousand 60%; Things Gone Wrong 22%; and Customer Satisfaction scores 10%.
    •   Uncovered a major customer complaint which avoided product recall by proactively mining customer
        comments from Internet discussion boards before corporate quality data was available.
    •   Drove positive product changes to improve customer satisfaction by producing a summary video of customer

Product Design and Development Engineer (1995 – 2000)

    •   Supported $1-billion+ Ford/Mazda joint venture that produced vehicles sold in 140 countries.
    •   Negotiated multiple face-to-face international meetings in North America and Japan in collaboration between
        Ford's Arizona Proving Ground and Mazda Engineering to resolve test engineering differences.
    •   Oversaw successful durability testing for multiple vehicles at Proving Ground. Improved product reliability by
        introducing product degradation testing.
    •   Served as primary liaison between the U.S. based Proving Ground test facility and Mazda engineering in Japan
        relaying valuable information that resolved engineering concerns and reduced logistical costs.
    •   Researched, developed and produced company’s first prototype of a flexible circuit replacement for instrument
        panel wire harness slated to save $40 / vehicle equaling millions of dollars annual savings.
    •   Launched major redesign of two high volume products (Ford Escort & Mercury Tracer) on time in U.S. after
        joining team less than ten months before "Job 1" launch date.
    •   Subsequently launched additional product (Escort ZX2) on time during eight months onsite at assembly plant
        in Mexico, immediately following prior launch.
    •   Led team of five engineers to manage design and release of electrical and electro-mechanical components as
        part of international team of Ford engineers from U.S., Mazda engineers from Japan and plant engineers and
        assembly line workers from Mexico.
