This slide is about Creativity which is at the top of Bloom's revised taxonomy of Objectives. It measures creativity based on CixzenMihaley's characteristics. The demographic variable, institutions' influence on creativity among prospective teachers was measured and the results were reported.
2. Creativity is about generating ideas or producing things and
transforming them into something of value. It often
involves being inventive, ingenious, innovative and
entrepreneurial (Ramakrishna & Uma sankar
2011Proceedings of National Seminar). In his well-
respected book “Creativity”, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
(transwhitecommunications.com/2012/12/26/creativity-in-
five-steps) says that an effectual creative practice usually
consists of five steps. They are preparation, incubation,
insight, evaluation and elaboration. Prospective teachers are
the future teachers who should possess this life skill so as to
shape the future world. Hence, this study paves a way to
survey the creativity of the prospective teachers with
respect to their institutions.
3. METHODOLOGY

the three hundred and eleven prospective teachers of
Dindigul district.

4. The father of taxonomy Benjamin Bloom explained
the taxonomy of educational objective as cognitive,
affective and psychomotor. Further he divided the
cognitive domain as knowledge, understanding, skills
and application. After the introduction of creativity this
higher order skill stands first in Bloom’s revised
taxonomy of objectives as shown in the figure
1.1.(Jerslin & Devaki 2017).

6. A favorable classroom climate will enhance
creativity. Courage, self-confidence and openness are
built with in the four walls of the classrooms and
society. Classroom interactions and institutional climate
motivate the teacher and the taught to promote
creativity.
To learn new thing, to find a new concept and to do
innovations, both the teacher and the taught need
motivation and encouragement from the superiors. On
this backdrop the present study studied the prospective
teacher’s creativity with respect to their institutions.

8. As teachers are the shapers of the society, creativity in
teaching is essential. The prospective teachers are future
teachers inculcating creativity in all their activity. The above
said skill creativity automatically enhances the teaching
competency of the prospective teachers.
The results revealed that there is significant difference
between the mean values of the institutions with respect to
creativity. Researchers found that creativity is connected to the
institutions (Thomas Hinge, 2009). Harward Business school
specialist in Creativity Teresa told that creativity is the
interaction between skills, motivation and expertise. Rather
than money creativity needs “intrinsic motivation”. That
motivation should be given by the institution. The institutions
which motivate more will produce highly creative individual.
