It works by monitoring changes to memory locations during gameplay and filtering results to find locations containing values that can be edited. The tutorial walks through using GameCIH to hack the game Subway Surfers by searching for and increasing the current score. While it allows unbeatable scores, GameCIH requires root access and sometimes crashes games or corrupts files.

This document discusses key considerations for HTML5 mobile game developers. It provides 10 things that every developer should know when creating HTML5 games, such as making graphics and gameplay high quality, optimizing loading times, including tutorials and social sharing, extensively testing across devices, and allowing for localization and sound toggling. The document is authored by Alexander Krug, founder and CEO of Softgames Mobile Entertainment Services GmbH, a mobile browser-based games network.
This document provides an overview of a platform to connect gamers and enable eSports tournaments. The platform aims to become a gamers community, create online and live tournaments, open the platform to third parties, and train professional gamers. The platform allows 1 vs 1 and team matches, messaging, user and team profiles, tournament management, and ecommerce for games, equipment, and tickets. It utilizes APIs to be accessible across devices and analyzes data. The business model includes virtual coins, ecommerce, subscriptions for features like voice chat, and sponsorships.

If there was one thing that was missing in the Nokia Lumia lineup, it was dual-SIM support. The drought has ended with the Lumia 630, an entry-level smartphone from Nokia that holds two firsts to its credit – it's the first Windows Phone dual-SIM device, and also the first to run the very latest version of the OS, i.e. Windows Phone 8.1. Here's how this notable device fares when it comes to real-life usage...
- Mobile gaming is a huge and rapidly growing market, with over 2 billion dollars in revenue in 2010 alone, over 50% of which comes from games.
- The hardware in phones and tablets is now comparable to last generation consoles and will surpass current gen consoles within 3 years, allowing for more advanced games.
- To develop for mobile, games need to be optimized for short play sessions, have simple one-finger controls, and be visually impressive while maintaining a low polycount and other optimizations to perform well on mobile devices.
Where the Whales live: the pyramid model of F2P designNicholas Lovell
Is monetization ruining F2P games? Funnel-driven design that aims to filter out freeloaders and squeeze the whales is not an inevitable result of the free-to-play business model. We need to build new models for visualizing how we can incorporate the full breadth of the customer demand curve. The pyramid is a way of putting into practice the goal of free-to-play game design: let anybody access your game, and allow people who love what you do to spend lots of money on things they truly value.
This document discusses using data visualization and movies to analyze player behavior in free-to-play games in order to aid game design and balancing. It outlines the core gameplay loops and how game design factors like fun and difficulty influence player retention and monetization. The author describes how their company collects millions of player data events daily, loads them into AWS, and analyzes them using R to generate data movies that visualize player progression, boost usage, and outcomes at the level, session, and cohort level to provide insights for balancing difficulty across thousands of levels. Qualitative analysis through these movies can help game designers identify issues and ask questions to improve sustained success.

The Nokia X is Nokia's first Android device, running a customized version of Android 4.1 without Google services. It has modest specs including a 4-inch 480x800 screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 3MP rear camera but no front camera, and provides up to one day of battery life. While it lacks full Android capabilities and multitasking, the Nokia X offers Nokia services like Maps and MixRadio, sturdy build quality and customizability through sideloading apps. However, its low-end specs and camera mean it is best suited for basic smartphone use rather than power users.
While the rest of the software world talks about moving to “Continuous Delivery,” most game companies were ahead of the curve and began accelerating their release cycles some time ago.
