4.5 m height of building in front and side
setback for easy movement of fire fighting
vehicle.
•Ramp for vertical movement should be inside
the setback area .4.5 m should be given for
easy movement of fire fighting vehicle

 Planting of trees on site :
Min. 1 tree of 6m height per 80 sq.m is must
 Solid waste disposal :
Min, 2 dustbins are mandatory which includes

•Biodegradable = 0.67 cu.m
 Solar Energy :
Its mandatory to put solar energy equipment on
site according to Bureau of Indian std.

19. FIRE STAIRCASE
Shall Always Be Kept In Sound Operable Conditions.
All External Stairs Shall Be Directly Connected To The
Ground.
Entrance To The External Stairs Shall Be Separate And
Remote From The Internal Staircase.
The Route To The External Stairs Shall Be Free Of
Obstructions At All Times.
External Stairs Shall Have Straight Flight Not Less Than
1250 Mm Wide With 250 Mm Treads And Risers Not
More Than 190 Mm. The Number Of Risers Shall Be
Limited To 15 Per Flight.
Handrails Shall Be Of A Height Not Less Than 1000 Mm
And Not Exceeding 1200 Mm.
