The collective evaluation report summarizes the fourth virtual short term pupil exchange between schools in Italy, the UK, Turkey, France, Spain, and Finland from January 25th-29th, 2021. During the exchange, students from the participating schools presented on their schools and regions, participated in a talent show, performed drama scenes they had written, and played online games about artistic culture. Students evaluated the exchange activities and discussed uploading materials to the project's online magazine. Overall, the evaluations found that the virtual format allowed for more students to participate and enjoyed seeing each other's talents despite not meeting in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Diversity is important. All of us are different and we live in the same world.
It is very important for children to understand we have to share lots of things with classmates, friends, different people around us…. These differences should be understood and appreciated.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

COLLECTIVE EVALUATION REPORT
For the Fourth Virtual Short term Pupil Exchange in Catania, Italia
25th– 29th January 2021
Due to Covid this visit was a virtual visit to Italy. In the UK we currently have Covid
restrictions in school. This means we only have 30% of pupils in school with the remaining
accessing online learning. Luckily in school we had 3 pupils who had previously attended
other trips and 3 that were supposed to go to Italy. Some of our younger pupils were also very
keen to be part of the visit after I had explained to them what it was about. On the first dy it
was great to see our partners. Some of the UK pupils were emotional as they had had such a
good experience on their previous trips. They were keen to see what the week entailed. They
were especially excited for the talent show. On the second day one of our talented pupils
played the piano live to the other countries. He was so proud and pleased that he was able to
share his talent with everyone. The pupil is partially sighted and had self taught himself the
piano. He also has autism so performing in front of others was a big deal for him. The pupils
loved to see the talents from the other pupils too.
On the 3rd day 3 of our youngest pupils, aged 9 and 10 performed live on the talent show.
The 3 girls have ADHD and had been practicing all week. They were very nervous and
excited at the same time. They were all very proud that they had taken part. They had never
done anything like it before! Again they loved seeing the many talents front eh other schools.
They were so pleased with there certificates and they asked their teacher to frame them for
them. On the forth day 2 pupils who went to France used their skills they learnt in France to
do a live performance of a local play. They loved sharing their acting skills! All the pupils
then joined for the final day to take part in the quiz. They all had such fun and felt sad at the
end. 2 of the boys were crying and said how much they had learned and grown over the 2
year period of this Erasmus project. They will cherish those memories for the rest of their
lives.
The whole visit was well planned and organised and enabled everyone to join in. It allowed
for shorter activities which really suited the special needs of our pupils.

students and 8 teachers in this mobility. It all started with the welcome speech of the Italian
headmistress and introduction of the partner schools and cities. On the second and third day,
students talent shows have been on display either live or video format. On Thursday creative
and collective dramas written by students using the cultural figures of partners were shown.
The last day students enjoyed Kahoot games about the history of music and famous painters
and the evaluation survey took place. In brief, we were happy to meet partner students even
though it was online. Thabks to the Italian school to have organized such an amazing daily

Comments
Once again, it has been a wonderful opportunity for our school to meet our partners, to have
them discover our school, our students, and discover their environment, even virtually. This
week has been amazing as the students overcame their shyness and fear of living such an
extraordinary adventure, even through videoconferences. They opened up to each other and
communicated in a foreign language, but also using other communication media to get
understood. They were brave enough to overcome their disappointment in not meeting their
partners on site. They achieved the activities they had been working on so hard these months.
However, the virtual aspect allowed us to get more students involved during
videoconferences. We heartly thank the Italian team for their efforts to make everything go
smooth and close to what we had expected for this last mobility.

Evaluation of the meeting
Due to the pandemic situation, we couldn’t develop the activities we had planned for the last
mobility of the project. Unluckily, the Italian teachers, students and families were looking
forward to host us and show their culture, gastronomy, city, etc.,in situ, and we were
preparing the performances and activities we were supposed to do there. Nevertheless, Italian
staff has prepared a special virtual mobility where our students have been able to share their
talent and enthusiasm for this last part of the project. Students and teachers have done their
best to prepare and fulfill the activities excitedly and it has been very emotional seeing our
students engaging so much. In fact, we have involved more students than it was supposed to
and it has been a great opportunity to meet all together.
We are glad of having enjoyed to all the creations and talents shown by all the students in
each school and we value all the effort done by them and their teachers spite of the situation.

Comments:
“Proud of our students”: I’d like to start my evaluation report with this sentence, because it’s
what my Headmistress, the staff and me have thought at the end of the week when my school
hosted our partners to conclude this beautiful Project.
The first day, our Headmistress welcomed our hosts with a lovely speech. Students
introduced themselves, their own school and city, through videos, pptx, podcast and live
video.
The theme of the mobility in Italy was “Be an Artist!”, so the second and third day, French,
Finnish, Spanish, Turkish, British and Italian students have had the opportunity to show their
talent in the “C.R.E.A.C.T.I.O.N. talent show”. We have seen many performances in a great
variety of disciplines: dancing, singing, drawing, playing violin, piano, guitar, juggling and
sport activities.
On Thursday, we had our “Drama” scenes: Students mixed characters from the six Countries,
rewrote the plot in a funny way, using recycled materials for the scenography.
On the last day, on Friday, they played two Kahoot games on Artistic topics: music and
painting.
Then an evaluation test about the mobility in Italy.
My final consideration is very positive, as I saw also from the results of the evaluation test, it
was a nice, funny but very emotional week. Maybe a positive aspect of this virtual mobility
was that students felt more self-confident behind a screen and that more students could join
the mobility.
Even if we, the Italian team, families and students had a ready and very different weekly
programme to host our Partners last March and couldn’t imagine to host them “virtually” in
our school, in our beautiful Sicily, we can say the Project has finished in a brilliant way;
thank you to our Partners, now friends, and their students; it has been a great pleasure to meet
them all again, even if behind a screen.
