Keynote presentation by Dr. Fatih Gundogan, Deputy General Manager of ISBAK-Istanbul, at the Selangor Smart City & Future Commerce Convention 2017, on the topic titled 'Istanbul’s Big Smart Roadmap'
Every bustling city with global attraction has many functions and deals with many stakeholders. It’s a lot more complex to define and manage a city brand than a product brand. But if you take the right steps at the right moment and have a bit of luck at your side, you might end up with something similarly comprehensive and cohesive as the Amsterdam city brand. This presentation tells the story of how Amsterdam became an international showcase example for city branding.
On 6 and 7 June 2013, André Bouffioux, CEO of Siemens Belgium-Luxembourg, presented our Siemens’ view on how Smart Cities will develop and generate new business. He made this presentation during the European Young Innovator Forum’s unique Unconvention in Brussels, where young Europeans with innovative ideas and those who will inspire, guide and support them, were brought together.
smart city In a classic sense, the infrastructure of a city is any physical component of the city .
The ICT infrastructure is fundamental to the construction of smart city.
Smart infrastructure is more efficient, safe, secure.
India’s recent stand on Smart City Development and involvement of various high income countries; initiates the talk of ideal variables for smart city evolution by our own standards. With a vision of Urban Governance for general livability, it becomes imperative to study these parameters and ensure the evolution of our own concept of a Smart City. Our spatial planning models based on unique factors such as Human Diversity, Physical-Social networks and ICT impact on urban fabric, City resilience, etc. make it all the more interesting to evolve a blueprint for Planning a Smart City.
The paper centers the infrastructural developments for the Smart Urban Development in India. The research helps us arrive at a general line of action for Urban Planning implications catering to the Infrastructure Sector, amongst others; thus affecting environmental, social and economic structure significantly. The study further finds the scope of progress, encouraged from various government policies for successful implementation of Smart City Development. It also allows a peek into future scenario of improvements and deliberations particular to Indian standards in consideration with the scenario of other countries.

2019 SITEC E-Commerce Class 302: Facebook Marketing by Jacksion Yangsitecmy
SITEC E-COMMERCE CLASS 302 IS FACEBOOK MARKETING
Since Facebook is one of the largest social media platforms in the world, Facebook marketing has become one of the biggest digital channels in terms of new opportunities. The platform offers a variety of different paid and organic tools for brands to surface themselves to Facebook's sprawling user base. As with any other digital channel, there are certain things a marketing manager has to do to optimize for discoverability.
Unfortunately, many businesses assume that social media websites, particularly Facebook, are just opportunities to stand on a soap box and broadcast your brand message to the millions of people who use the platform. When that does not work, many of these businesses will just give up and declare that Facebook does not work for them.
The trouble is that this is not the role of Facebook. People are not on social media to listen to sales pitches, they are there to be social with their friends and the brands they like. Customers today value brands that take the time to get to know them on a personal level, rather than acting as an impersonal corporation.

Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. Editor's Notes
I wont start with the numbers about urbanization.
İn my opinion it is not a good news. Offcours a competition (coopetition this is the correct definiton about that) between cities is nice. But Urbanization, rapid urbanization is I think the biggest challenge for cities. Increasing population due to birth rate and migration. Especially the larges cities require first housing and infrastructure for new residents. Before other issues of cities, attractive large cities, need to consider about this.
Another point is that, the developing cities incriesing mobility due to increasing economic situation.
Istanbul is one of these cities, with its population about 15 million. This is about %20 percent of whole population of Turkey. Beside that, Istanbul has about 40% share in Turkey’s economy. That brings to Istanbul 500.000 new residents yearly.
Let me say a few words about ISBAK.
ISBAK is one of 28 affiliate companies of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. We have gas company, metro, environment and energy company etc. And isbak is responsible for development and deploment of all kinds of technology in İstanbul (and also in other cities)
We started with mechanical maintenance and 1996 we established RD depatment with instructions of todays President and joined to ITS Sector. We started with traffic signal controllers and signal lamps and continoue with development and deployments of all other traffic equipments.
Since 2015 we change the scope of our company from ITS to Smart City Technologies.
Smart City starts with City. Actually, we are not working for smart city, but we are working for smart İstanbul, smart dubai, smart london and smart kuala Lumpur. Because of several reasons Istanbul is a uniqe city, these are history,
Cities need to keep their culture, history (especially historical buildings are onther risk) and need to manage their infrastructure (gas, water, road) transport communication network and economy with innovation and new Technologies. That means with smart city applications. With the term «smart city» big data innnovation open data ioT and governance showed up. But two term are critical. Most of smart city Project start due to economic reason and fed by technology.
These are some main partners the we are working in smart city strategy Project of İstanbul.
