This document discusses the design and development of an axial feed system using a recirculating ball screw for a 6-axis CNC gear hobbing machine. It begins with an overview of the gear hobbing process and advantages of using a ball screw over a lead screw. It then describes the design process for the axial feed system, which involves selecting a suitable ball screw based on calculations of stroke length, load capacity, rigidity and service life. A 63mm diameter ball screw with 10mm lead is selected that meets the design requirements for axial load, rotational speed and long service life.

Abstract
Needle roller bearings have high load carrying capacity although it have small cylindrical roller having low cross section,
thus it used in application where space limitation is the important factor along with high dynamic loading capacity. So in
ginning machine where space is limited for driving the mechanism a Needle roller bearing having diameter of 20 mm is
used in between connecting rod and head pin to give the relative motion between parts. As the continuous impacting of
repetitive load on bearing, it fails with in shorter period of time if proper lubricant is not supplied by grease gun after 2 to 3
hours. While bearing are considered under observation it is found that bearing are fail due to brinnelling. So design and
analysis of needle roller bearing is vital to calculate the life of bearing and to make sure whether this bearing is suitable or
not. So it becomes mandatory in designing to calculate radial load applied on bearing as the bearing is rolling contact
bearing, from this life of the bearing can be calculated and finally analysis by ANSYS software is done to find the result so
that we can conclude for bearing.

The present review provides brief information about
the design of eccentric shaft for cotton ginning
machine. The author suggest that, significant of
eccentric shaft are as follows,
1. Due to the small eccentric distance in design of
eccentric shaft; friction torque is very small, which
result in small friction loss and high system
efficiency.
2. The torque acted on motor increased as eccentric
distance expanded which result in poor force
condition and complicate structure.
3. Eccentric shaft are usually with features of small
eccentric distance, thus its can only provide small
displacement.
Eccentric shaft is the important element, which play
the important role in ginning operation. These shafts
provide an oscillatory motion or action to moving
knives. Eccentric shaft is required in various
industries according to their application. In
traditional case, implementation of the proper
selection of raw material, latest and advance
methodologies is typical task.
Examination of parametric linkages reveals that
eccentric shaft life is dependent on load acting on the
eccentric shaft, its geometry, metallurgical properties
and wear. Today in design and development of
eccentric shaft by using the good quality of raw
material that is alloy steel with composition of Fe
(98.5%), Al (0.5%), C (0.5%), and Mo (0.5%) by
using that composition the life of eccentric shaft is

transient phenomenon and will need careful stress analysis for determining life of the gear. In gear design, the Mechanism will

low capacity and strength. Bevel gears are used in differential drives, which can transmit power to two axles spinning at different
speeds, such as those on a cornering automobile, hand drill, to redirect the shaft from the horizontal gas turbine engine to the

Abstract
This paper gives the reader an insight in to the work we went through to invent the concept for an automated fiber glass sleeve cutting machine. The challenge given to us by the Industry was to design and fabricate the shearing machine that can cut fiber glass sleeves in a given desired length automatically on a large scale. The length of the sleeve given to us is in range of 20mm-50mm. We set out to invent a simple but strong concept resulting in a machine with minimal complexity which will reduce the cost of production, time required to cut the sleeve and also improve the ease of maintenance. This paper is testament to how we achieved a supposedly complex automation using simple mechanical automation. To support our concept we also set out to fabricate a proposed machine to prove this concept will work.

The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
