Feasibility Study of Samruddhi Expresswayvivatechijri
An analysis and evaluation of a proposed project to determine if it is technically feasible, isfeasible within the estimated cost, and will be profitable. Feasibility studies are almost always conducted wherelarge sums are at stake. This paper is an effort in the similar direction, to study Samruddhi Expressway whetherthe project is feasible or not. India has one of the largest road networks in the world, consisting nationalhighways, state highways, major district roads, other district roads and village roads. Roads are the key to thedevelopment of an economy. A good road network constitutes the basic infrastructure that accelerates thedevelopment process through connectivity. The Government of India has planned 10 world class expresshighways in order to boost the road infrastructure for faster connectivity between different cities. SimultaneouslyGovernment of Maharashtra has planned Samruddhi Expressway (Nagpur Mumbai Expressway) (NMEW)which intends to divert and redistribute the heavy traffic on existing corridors.Feasibility studies in theconstruction industry can be simply defined as the evaluation of the viability of a development project. It is usedas a tool for analyzing if a proposed task can operate under a given set of assumptions, such as the technologyused and the monetary aspects of the construction work. Feasibility studies focus on providing information tohelp investors decide whether to proceed or redesign a proposed development project or idea. They are mainlyused in business ventures relating to the construction industry.

A CAR POOLING MODEL WITH CMGV AND CMGNV STOCHASTIC VEHICLE TRAVEL TIMESEditor IJMTER
Carpooling (also car-sharing, ride-sharing, lift-sharing), is the sharing of car journeys so
that more than one person travels in a car. It helps to resolve a variety of problems that continue to
plague urban areas, ranging from energy demands and traffic congestion to environmental pollution.
Most of the existing method used stochastic disturbances arising from variations in vehicle travel
times for carpooling. However it doesn’t deal with the unmet demand with uncertain demand of the
vehicle for car pooling. To deal with this the proposed system uses Chance constrained
formulation/Programming (CCP) approach of the problem with stochastic demand and travel time
parameters, under mild assumptions on the distribution of stochastic parameters; and relates it with a
robust optimization approach. Since real problem sizes can be large, it could be difficult to find
optimal solutions within a reasonable period of time. Therefore solution algorithm using tabu
heuristic solution approach is developed to solve the model. Therefore, we constructed a stochastic
carpooling model that considers the in- fluence of stochastic travel times. The model is formulated as
an integer multiple commodity network flow problem. Since real problem sizes can be large, it could
be difficult to find optimal solutions within a reasonable period of time.
This Presentation shows a comparative study of 5 construction projects in India & abroad enabling us to understand the process of conducting Pre-Project feasibility analysis.
Recently, rates of vehicle ownership have risen globally, exacerbating problems including air pollution,
lack of parking, and traffic congestion. While many solutions to these problems have been proposed,
Carpooling is one of the most effective solutions to this problems Recently, several carpooling
platforms have been built on cloud computing systems, with originators posting online list of
departure/arrival points and schedules from which participants can search for rides that match their
needs. In this paper, an improved carpool system is described in detail and called the improved
intelligent carpool system (IICS), which provides car poolers the use of the carpool services via a smart
handheld device anywhere and at any time. This IICS Consist the geographical, traffic, and societal
information and used to manage requests and find minimum route. We apply advanced genetic-based
carpool route and matching algorithm (AGCRMA) for this multiobjective optimization problem called
the carpool service problem (CSP).

Vision-based real-time vehicle detection and vehicle speed measurement using ...JANAK TRIVEDI
In recent trends, digital information to the industrial integration for the intelligent transportation system (ITS)
field is gaining importance for the researcher, academia, and industrial persons. Visual information helps to
manage traffic systems in the industrial forum to build smart cities in developed countries. This paper presents
vision-based real-time vehicle detection and Vehicle Speed Measurement (VSM) using morphology operation and
binary logical process for an unplanned traffic scenario using image processing techniques. Vehicle detection and
VSM help to reduce the number of accidents and improve road network efficiency. The bounding box size for
vehicle detection is flexible according to vehicles’ sizes on the road. We test this system with different colors and
dimensions for a selected Region of Interest (ROI). The ROI sets using the two-line approach. Here, we compare
the proposed system with the inter-frame difference method and the blob analysis method with recall, precision,
and F1 performance parameters.
“ Para-transit vehicles are a for-hire flexible passenger transportation that does not necessarily follow fixed routes and schedules. They provide two types of services: one involving trips along a more or less defined route with stops to pick up or discharge passengers on request. The other is a demand-responsive transport which can offer a door-to-door service from any origin to any destination in a service area”

Courier management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.
Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Automobile Management System Project Report.pdfKamal Acharya
The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.
