iPark is a smart parking system that uses IoT technology to help drivers more easily find and pay for parking. It connects sensors in parking lots to a mobile app to show drivers available spaces and allow payment directly from their car. This reduces time spent searching for parking and cuts down on traffic and emissions. The system uses Artik IoT boards, sensors, MongoDB and a payment platform to register vehicles, monitor spaces, and process contactless payments seamlessly.

The narrow roads and high vehicle traffic density, especially in
the city centers, makes driving difficult. All this mostly affects
everyday search for a parking space and thus costs time, hard
cash which results in huge traffic in city. With iPark a smart
and IoT parking system, we propose to simplify parking
altogether - right from searching for parking space up to
parking and payment for parking bay. Our focus is on making
car parking smarter and thus also cleaner, more comfortable
and cheaper.
