1.1. Establish new sequence:
To get started with a new project, you'll need to create a new file. Click on File<New<Project A
dialog box will appear where you can specify the name and location of your project, You can now
create a new sequence File<New<Sequence width, height, resolution, and other settings for
your video.
4. 1.2. Discover your workplace (we’ll only use Editing, Effects and Color Tab)
5. To start editing we have to import our clips/images, to do so we have to go

7. Timeline: Our Sequence has its proper timeline which is the place
where we’ll be editing our video, Per default it is empty , so let’s get it
started and put our clips there
Drag Your Clip and place it in your timeline

8. The order in the timeline indicates the superposition of layers;
(which layer will be on top and which is in the background)
In this example: Picture A is in the
background behind element B &
C. On top of it ,we have clip B then
our logo on top of them all .

It allows you to cut a clip
at a specific point on the

Now we have divided

Selection Tool : (R)
This is the most used
tool. It can select a clip
by clicking on it
You can select the clip you
want to delete and right
click on Ripple delete*
Ripple delete allows you two delete the selected clip and join the
two parts instead of letting an empty space between them
