The author has decided to publish their magazine with Bauer Media Group because Bauer produces well-known magazines like Kerrang! and Q that are similar in style and audience. As a large, reputable company, Bauer will help give the new magazine credibility by association. 3. The media institution I want to publish
my magazine
I have decided to chose Bauer Media Group to publish my magazine. I have chosen this
institution because they also produce magazine’s like Kerrang! and Q. This is good as these
magazines are very well-known. The company is large and also well-known so if they
produce my magazine as well people will assume it will be well-made and of a high
standard like the other magazines Bauer publish.
Bauer don’t currently publish a magazine like mine so even though they are a massive
company there is still a gap in their market for my magazine. They do produce More
magazine, which has a similar target audience as my magazine (theirs is slightly older) but
this magazine is not a music magazine.
