The CPU is the central processing unit, or brain, of the computer that determines its overall speed of performance. When installing a CPU, carefully match the pins of the CPU to the holes of the CPU support and position it correctly without forcing to smoothly insert all pins into their holes. Secure the CPU in place by clipping down the CPU lever lock, then install the heatsink and plug in the CPU power connector according to your motherboard manual.
