  2. Assess your presence, whose sharing information about you or your brand and more importantly access where your competitors are! Set Google and Social Mention alerts.
  3. Do they have: real business experience using social media or do they just talk about using social media? They should be able to show you and not just tell you about social media. Are you comfortable following their lead? – do you like they conversations they are having?
  4. There are many great social media books. Use them as a resource. Don’t fall into the trap of reading and not engaging.
