2. Ellie Goulding – Goodness Gracious
After listening to a few songs I have listened to Ellie Gouldings song Goodness Gracious and I believe that although I may
not use this song the filming of the video has been done really well and I could get some good ideas to combine with
another song for my music video. With this video I really like how the genre of music links into the video. The summer
theme is clearly highlighted through the location such as the beach. I also like how it is filmed during the day and night and
also how the sparklers are used and I believe this could work very well with my music video. If I was to use this song for my
music video I would make sure I use a suitable artist who could represent the genre of music as well as the song lyrics. I
would use a teenage girl around the age of 17 and would dress her in very girly clothes. I would also make sure that I use a
large number of different shots to make the video entertaining and not boring to watch.

3. Ellie Goulding - Anything could happen
I have considered using this song as I think it could work very well with the ideas which I have. I also think that the soft
tone of Ellie Goulding means that I would be able to film in a realistic way to be able to tell a story through the song. As
the song is not slow this would mean that it would not become boring and I would be able to combine lots of different
ideas. As the location of the filming is not in a summery location and more around rivers, I would have to change the idea
of the song as I would not be able to film in this location and it would be very hard to film this. When filming the video if I
was to use this song I would use a range of shot types and many close up shots highlighting the artists facial expressions.

4. Eliza Doolittle – Big when I was little
After listening to this I think that this video could work very well with the goodness gracious. I think both songs have a
similar beat and the video from Ellie Goulding’s song would work very well with the beat of this song. Furthermore I like
the very bright colour scheme in the song as this would link to the pop genre of Ellie Goulding’s song. This also would
make the song feel very summery which is the idea of the song. Having a young teenage model to do the Ellie Goulding
song also seems highly appropriate and links to both the song choice and also the video. In addition to this the video
uses a range of different people as well as the main artist which I believe could be effective.
