When the main character arrived at his new school, he witnessed students bullying each other, smoking, and drinking alcohol. During a school performance by his band, he fantasized that the band was playing to a large crowd and that his dream girl had arrived. The scene showed the typical stereotypes of Irish students through their scruffy uniforms and risky behaviors. It transitioned between shots of the band performing and the main character's fantasy through invisible editing.

You can hear the enough of diagetic sound to hear a few comments
directed to him and to hear the slap of the head butt in the flight.

In the scene, you can see lots of different people wearing lots of
different clothes and shows a typical stereotype to Irish people,
everyone who wore the school uniform looked scruffy except from
the wealthy kid. There were kids smoking, drinking alcohol and
people getting bullied.

The Irish boy is fantasying a scene is his head what he wants to
happen. In the real life, his band were playing and miming and in the
fantasy the band were performing.
Editing
There were no real rhythm and just invisible editing of the band and
the crowd.
Except from the beginning of the scene and end, the shot was
reverse of him looking at the door waiting for his dream girl
During his fantasy, he had dreamed that his mom and dad and
Rephina walked in.
