This document discusses information literacy and models for teaching it to primary school students. It introduces the Big6 model, which breaks information literacy into six steps: task definition, information seeking strategies, location and access, use of information, synthesis, and evaluation. Another model presented is SUPER 3, which structures projects into three phases: plan, do, and review. The ultimate goal of information literacy and the library is to support student inquiry by providing resources and easy access to information.
