This document outlines the steps for a role-playing activity where one student interviews another as if they were an experienced hotel front desk clerk. The front desk clerk will answer questions from the interviewing student about what the job is like, including the education required, personal qualities needed, most satisfying and challenging parts of the job. Before the interview, the front desk clerk must do research online about the job duties and responsibilities. After the interview, both students will write a short reflection on their experience with the activity.
