high school. Although, it was not only men who were impacted, women were involved just as

labor in Africa, helped them accumulate wealth, and housing women into the royal palace. First,

up the life at home including labor. Before the slave trade began, women were to stay at home to
clean and raise the children while the men went out and worked. When the Atlantic Slave trade
started and most of the men were shipped off, women had to figure out life without their helping
hand. They basically had to take on two full time jobs, working to provide for their family and
then going home to take care of the children. However, when the trade of male slaves increased,
the number of opposite sexs decreased: making the life of a woman change in various ways. Not
only were they sent off to West Africato be used as slaves, since most of the men were already

Every family story and origin is unique to the members of the immediate group, while including
the traditions passed from generation to generation. From the scent of their house and clothes,
special holidays, vacation spots, memories, what they eat and how it is served; all of these

Who is God: The Creator or the Created? Many find the popular TV show, Toddlers in Tiaras, to
be entertaining. Some like the show for the drama while some like watching it to see all the little
girls dressed up in frilly dresses and costumes. However, when analyzing the content of the show,
one may see that the parents aren t really the ones in charge their prima donna daughter is. The
reversed order of authority also plays a part in the gothic novel Frankenstein. Mary Shelley uses the
characters of Victor Frankenstein and the monster to display a contradiction to the creation story in

in order for the individual to succeed that means that they must send their children to live with
people who can better care for them and provide them with things that they as parents are not able
to. In Tillie Olsen s short story, I Stand Here Ironing , she writes about the distressed feelings of a
woman, a mother, as she looks back on her daughter s life. This reflection provoked someone else
s distress for her daughter, although we never find out exactly who is worried about the well
being of the daughter, the mother examines the reasons for her 19 year old daughter s existing
issues and defends her daughter and the things she did to make sure she had a good life. Olsen s
use of narrative methods and outstanding choice of facts and language let the reader see the mother
s character and her caring, loving feelings concerning her children.
